We had a wonderful time staying at the Willow house. The home was clean and ready when we arrived, with plenty of room for our family of four plus grandparents to enjoy our stay at the lake. A short walk from the lake and access to Tahoe Beach Park made for the perfect setting to make so many memories during our 12-day stay. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Great location. Has a car charger which was a bonus. Management company is attentive and always there to answer questions during the day. House could be cleaner. It is clean looking when you walk in, but then it is noticeable that no one has cleaned under any furniture in years. It could use a deep cleaning and either a good deep clean on the rugs throughout the entire house or should just remove the rugs altogether. Bring your own tp and paper towels. You are provided with one roll per bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. We were there a week. Two rolls of tp for 6 adults and two kids is not practical. So, I would rate this house a 3 1/2! If they supplied a weeks stay with an 8 pack of toilet paper, especially for a family of 8, and a six pack of paper towels for the kitchen, cleaned under the furniture and cleaned the rugs, I would rate it a good solid 5! These issues are important especially for how much they charge to rent this house! Small improvements mean more positive reviews! Simple!

We loved the location! It was easy to get to Tahoe City and there was a great breakfast place within walking distance. Kitchen and living area was a reasonable size. The downside was the beds- all really need to be replaced.

Perfectly located. Laundry access is a plus. Car chargers were fantastic and a surprise when we got there. There are two chargers, one Tesla and one EV. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels because the supply given was not enough. We had 6 adults and two kids under age five, and the house supplied four roles total and just two rolls paper towels for 7 nights. Kitchen sink dripped for 7 days and upstairs bathroom sink did not drain. Barbecue was great and clean. But otherwise, wonderful house and we’d rent it again. Every person at Hauserman was delightful to talk to. They were there to answer questions when we called and they have an emergency after hours number which can be helpful.

Fanastic house. Was perfect for our needs and right near the lake. Loved the cabin feel. Very clean, great assistance and help from the owners. Would recommend!

Loved the cabin! An easy walk to the beach with the HOA lake side picnic and play area, with a dock to enjoy. The parking was tricky but we made it work with the other cabin.

We enjoyed our stay and thought this house was good. The location is great. We rode our bikes everywhere.

The house was in a great spot and all the amenities made it a wonderful family trip for all! So thankful to opening their home to make lasting memories.

We all enjoy the location and the house was great for 6 adults. Location was close to everything you would need and getting to the mountain was easy. Having a garage with a washer and dryer is a major plus for our trip. There is a long term resident above the garage, she was a great resource for local info and was a pleasure.
The house ahd all you needed to cook and I would only wish for one thing. A crockpot would of been great. This was a ski trip and be able to load it and come home to a meal would of been great.
Will return and hope to find this house available, with a crockpot lol.
The rental group was easy to deal with. I arrived durning a storm and they allowed me to get in early that day.

The cabin provided all of the sleeping space for 6 adults and two young children. The first floor bedrooms (2) and full bath worked out very well with our son and daughter-in-law in one room and close by their two children. Upstairs bedrooms(2) along with a second full bath was perfect for our other son and daughter-in-law and us! There was enough living space although small for all of us. The dining area also worked well with plenty of seating room. The kitchen was well equipped! One issue though was with gas grill. It apparently hand not been cleaned in a long while. The build up of grease unbeknownst to us burst into flames and could have been a dangerous situation. Luckily we were able to move it away as far as possible from the cabin (it is chained with limited distance from the cabin) remove the gas tank and let it burn out. We then had to take it apart somewhat to properly clean it.

The reservation is handled by a local rental agency so communication confusing, disconnect between info on VRBO and instructions from agency Also adds a lot of fees to have both. The place is cozy and a great location

The cabin was beautiful. Very accommodating in the kitchen. Everything was clean. Only downfall we had was the upstairs bathroom has a board that sits on the ceiling in front of the toilet so when you stand up you could bang your head on it if you aren’t careful. My daughter did that. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and fun to stay at.

Family Tahoe Trip
We traveled from Pennsylvania this summer. This quiet neighborhood property is close to lots of things. We enjoyed the short walk to breakfast, Bike and kayak rentals and the sunsets at the lake. It's a short drive to many other hikes and attractions. The house itself was comfortable enough. We have 8 in our family and had plenty of room. The laundry facility is in the detached garage and the grill was a nice feature. All in all we had a blast!

Reviewer Comments:
The house was in a great location. The size was fine for 6 ppl, but another common area would have been nice. The beds were, by far, the MOST uncomfortable beds that I can ever remember sleeping in. They were like sleeping on planks of wood. Also, the long term resident was using the washer one night and left her things overnight so I couldn’t dry my clothes. Definitely inconvenient. I had to hang my wet clothes all over the house to dry.

Cute Cabin but not updated at all
The cabin gives you a great Tahoe experience. The location is perfect but this listing is through a rental prop company so it's more complicated than a normal VRBO, after I booked I got a phone call and had to sign more contracts and deal with more people (not expecting that). Then they emailed a ton before the rental and I had to use a guest portal to get info day of check-in. The house is cozy but the beds are old and the pillows are even older (bring your own if you can). The max cars you'll fit is 3 not 4 like it says but there is street parking if needed. The upstairs bathroom is a little funky but it's fine for a couple nights stay.

Good location near Palisades
Great location, communication with property manager great.
Not great for small children with two steps on lower level and slippery stairs to upper level. Beds are a bit older
Area rugs create trip hazards and no salt available for slippery/ icy doorsteps.
Only 15 minutes from great skiing. Calm neighborhood.

The house is outdated. And you can't park 3 cars, it just can't; don't trust the description. We have 2 mid size SUV, we have to move the cars for long term renter to get in, she said she can't do it even though it's got enough space to drift your car side way into the garage, and no way share the garage with the long term renter. Other than that, great location, kids love it. Also bring a humidifier, the air gets very dry during winter night.

Great Home and Location
Nice property near Sunnyside, Homewood and Chambers. Easy access to bike trails. Home layout was great for our family.
You shouldn’t have any hesitation with the tenant over the garage.
Willl be back!

Great neighborhood for families and an easy walk to the HOA. Our family had a great week. Kitchen was fully stocked. Only thing lacking was the bed mattresses were dated and somewhat uncomfortable.

Fabulous time in Tahoe!
We so enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean, cute, compact home! Everything we needed was provided and best of all, it is located within a short, lovely walk to Lake Tahoe and the amazing beach club, to which our rental of this property provided access...we loved it!

Great location but house needs a little TLC
The house is in a great location in Tahoe Park with access to the private beach area. This is the main reason we chose this property as well as that it sleeps 8 people. (It is difficult to find a big house in the Tahoe Park area.) However, the living area only seats 5 people comfortably so we all couldn't sit around unless some of us were on the floor. We didn't really use the outside grilling area/patio other than to grill. While there was a picnic table, it wasn't a very attractive place to sit and relax as it was a sandy/gravely area. We used the front porch to hang out mostly. The house needs a bit of updating. Overall it fit our needs but unsure if we would rent again.

One of the most comfortable accommodations I had.
Hausermann management was very responsive with entry instructions arriving exactly as promised. Snow sliding off the roof broke a window in the living room. A crew was out the next morning to remedy the situation. Hausermann rebated $ 150 of the rent for our trouble. We did not expect that as we really weren’t inconvenienced all that much.

Roomy and convenient
The house worked very well for us, four senior skiers. Very close to Squaw/Alpine and Homewood, plus good food and shopping. Snow clearing was excellent, despite 7 feet falling over 4 days. Only issue might be noise. Footsteps upstairs could be heard in downstairs bedrooms. Put light sleepers upstairs. Kitchen handled our cooking needs well (management should check the broiler in the stove-we couldn't get it to work properly). Overall-we would rent here again.

Not good.
So i know its not really anyones fault and im not one to complain... But the first night i woke up to the fire alarm beeping because the battery was low... Had to climb on top of a dresser to be able to reach it and take it down. The beds are very outdated and were extremely uncomfortable. The upstairs shower drain backs up and fills with whatever is in the drain as well as water. Other than that its a nice place with a quiet neighborhood.

Made good use of the space
Cabin feels much bigger than it is, sleeps a lot. Only con is the parking situation. If you have more than 2 vehicles it gets a little tricky making room and there isn’t any street parking. Other than that the place is great!

It was absolutely wonderful.
Our stay was so nice. Such a relaxing place yet so much to do if you want to. Biking, Boating, BBQ. Wonderful. Thank you.

Great Place
Overall I would recommend this property. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
- Beautiful, well maintained house in a great location
- Well stocked with any kitchen item you might need.
- Garage access and EV chargers was great as I drive a plug-in vehicle.
- Lots of sleeping areas
Cons:
- There were some inconsiderate neighbors talking loudly late at night every night we were there. I had to find my earplugs to go back to sleep.
- Any noise carries in this house! You're able to hear any conversation, snoring, or walking around from adjacent rooms.

Compact, but well laid out cabin
Stayed here with five friends while in town for a wedding--the house was the perfect size for us. The kitchen is fully well stocked--and I hadn't read well enough, but the house came with private beach access just a five minute walk away. A great place to crash! Would happily stay here again.

Good location. Well maintained house.
We enjoyed a week at this property over New Years week as a 2 families of 4. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. It was in a great location close to the lake, town and several ski resorts. Took one star off because it was not sound proof at all. From the upstairs you could hear anything and everything from the downstairs so it was challenging to sleep in if anyone was an early riser. Also there is a tenant that lives there long term and parking was tight. She actaully hit and damaged our parked car while we were there parked where they told us to park. Disappointing but nothing that can’t be fixed. Overall it was a lovely vacation home in a good location. We had a great time.
