MERV-13 filter on new gas central air furnace enhances air quality & blocks tiny smoke and virus particles. The cleaning fee varies by the number of guests (and pet).
Walk 5-10 minutes on the Big Wood riverside path or ski/bike trail to Sun Valley Bald Mountain River Run Resort with gondola, lifts, trails, day lodge. Anglers and dogs can relish the nearby river's trout-fishing and wading spots. Gardeners, kids and well-behaved dogs may appreciate the fenced organic garden (no pesticides - ever!), berries and cherry tree.
This artfully-furnished home is convenient to all town amenities and activities, indoors and out - 1/2 to 1 mile to theatres, restaurants, bars, galleries, shops, parks, the fabulous Y (swim, yoga,+). Paired with just one other home in a duplex building (not a high-density complex!) with trees and gardens all around, each is privately owned and quietly enjoyed (no commons) on a residential street with no through traffic . Hear the river at night!
Two bedrooms, a den/loft, and two full baths, plus a "bonus" room in the attached garage, can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3-4 beds. Savor wonderful mountains and tree views from every room. Setback from the street, the driveway can accommodate 3 cars in addition to the one-car garage, even in snowy Winter.
From the ground-level entry, step into dramatic vaulted 2-story living & dining areas with spectacular river-rock gas fireplace. Teak and leather furnishings and owner's fine-art photographs + other Idaho and Montana artists' beautiful wood sculptures and paintings portray casual elegance with a nature and wildlife theme.
The large kitchen should please most holiday cooks and its counter seating enhances cozy breakfast, tea or wine sharing in social gatherings, while extending meal seating beyond the 6-person teak dining table.
A 50" flatscreen HD TV may be viewed from dining, living and kitchen areas. A separate TV upstairs allows multiple program choices. Basic cable TV, internet and WiFi services are provided.
The downstairs Queen bedroom with extended area (and new twin bed) faces and offers a doorway into the private tree-lined garden with picnic table and side porch (new in 2015), with peaceful and unobstructed views of Baldy mountain .
Upstairs is a King bedroom and full bath. There is also an open den/loft with Queen Japanese bed (opens onto floor), TV and comfy leather recliner - and VIEWS!
Some breeds of adult (2+yrs) neutered, well-mannered dogs with "credentials" (health and pest treatment verified) may be welcome, with pre-approval and extra fee.

Stayed 4 nights in August and loved it!
Secluded and quiet neighborhood right at the base of the mountain. House has everything and walkable to Ketchum and restaurants.Bike path and trails close.
Highly recommend and host is terrific!

Our family had an amazing time in this old school cabin- the location was unbelievable! We were able to walk to town, river run and just about anywhere in Ketchum. The neighborhood is amazing as well.
The cabin itself is comfortable and cool in the summer months. We had plenty of space and it was pretty clean and well stocked. Owners were super responsive and checked up on us which was a plus.
Overall we had an amazing week!

We had a comfortable, cozy stay at Natalie's Artist Home! Her photography and art adorns the house and gives a great log cabin vibe; we used the fireplace and cooked quite frequently. Slept great, very quiet. ~10 minute walk to the base of the mountain and main gondola and lift. Easy to walk our dog in the neighborhood. Easy 10-20 minute walk to anywhere in town. Natalie was very responsive and easy to plan the trip with. Thank you Natalie!!

We enjoyed our stay here - 2 BRs and a loft with a floor bed. It's as advertised - dated, with quite a mix of dishes, linens, etc. It's like staying at a friend's place. The bonus room by the garage made a great locker room for skiing. Host is easy to work with. We would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to town and ski slope. Home has lots of charm and character. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this home -- it felt like we were in the woods far from town, yet we could walk into the town of Ketchum in less than 15 minutes. And we could walk to the Gondola for amazing hiking opportunities. The home was very well stocked and we felt right at home. We hope to be back!

Our family was there for a long weekend and it was perfect for us! Our teen son loved the bonus room for himself. It was like his own little apartment lol.
The street is quiet, it's a short drive to downtown Ketchum, and we just felt so at home!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your place!

We had loads of fun at this two bedroom home practically next to the lifts on Bald Mountain. Great fireplace, cozy decor.

Easy access to the slopes, easy to acclimate to the area.

Quaint log cabin, in a quiet neighborhood just 12 min walk to River Run Lodge (Sun Valley Ski Resort) and downtown Ketchum. Excellent location. Host was great, very communicative and helpful. Only downside was it had only 2 true beds, the 3rd was a cot and not a particularly good one. Would be a great fit for 2 couples looking for a ski getaway.

We loved the location, near the ski area. We walked into town to restaurants. It was great to have a garage to keep car warm on cold nights. We loved being able to have our dog with us. Our thanks for this privilege.

Everything was as I expected it to be. Very cozy cabin with all the necessities. The home owner was easily reached for any questions. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The access to the ski hill was also perfect less than 3 minutes by car.
I would definitely stay her again.

This home has some great attributes, however there are some things that need to be said. "Casually Elegant" is a stretch - the home is very dated and worn. Carpet is shot, every corner is chipped, it probably hasn't been updated since the 70s or 80s. The furniture is very old and worn. It does have a fireplace - but no wood and no hint of where to buy any. There was blood on the bedding in the master - and in general it was somewhat clean.
We had a great time and the location is excellent, but feel that this unit is a little oversold on the "elegance" and condition.

You can't beat the location! We were so close to the best winter skiing around, beautiful neighborhood nestled a the base of Bald Mountain, just a short two minute drive to the downtown (would also be a wonderful walk in the summertime) and beautiful snowy trees all around. We even had a mother and baby moose visit our street! Loved it tremendously!. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This property is located close to everything in Ketchum. It's on a quiet residential street and is well screened from the road. The log cabin motif elegantly reflects western ambience without resorting to the cliche' of elk antlers and cowboys. A quality experience!

Perfect for a ski week
Well-located property minutes from River Run lifts and walkable to town in a quiet neighborhood. Filled with interesting art and artifacts; it worked out well for our family for our week in Ketchum.

Very nice home! Separated from all other neighbors is definitely a plus. Check-in couldn't be easier. All of the cooking accessories were already available. Very close to River Run Lodge (you could walk it.) Heating worked very well, as did the water heater. The beds were very comfortable. Will return!

2 adult couples with Epic passes needed
a place convenient to lifts and town and found this well-situated home . Really best suited for 2 couples who would each have own bath and plenty of room to spread out clothes and gear. The extra sleeping areas mentioned I would not rec for another adult couple but would suffice for young children or older adult kid. Kitchen is extreme well outfitted w lots of leftover pantry items and all the cooking utensils you could want. This is not one of the new fancier rentals rather an older style SV home, lived-in and well- used vibe, Suoer close to River Run and walking distance to town made it a perfect location. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a lovely winter vacay! Thank you Natalie!

Natalie's home worked beautifully for us. Good location, comfortable, and attractively decorated. Easy to get to lifts and centrally located. Thanks.

Definitely worked
It was a good stay, love the neighborhood, very local. Only thing is the place was a bit cluttered overall. A lot of items on counters and tables that didn't need to be there. Also quality of towels and linens and blankets were motel style.

Well supplied home
A cozy and comfortable, lived-in cabin in the woods. Fully supplied with cooking utensils, spices, pots and pans. We cooked a lot since we didn’t want to dine inside any restaurants and it was very easy to work in the kitchen. There is a lot of interesting furniture and art pieces throughout.

Great Ketchum Rental
The house was well equipped, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Natalie was very accommodating which we really appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay there again!

Perfect spot
My husband and I traveled to Ketchum for vacation. The house was the perfect decision for us! It gave the two of us plenty of space to spread out and was far enough away from downtown to feel secluded but still walk there when we wanted (~15 minute walk to most places).
The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. We ended up eating breakfast "in" on most days and using the kitchen to a few to-go lunches for long hikes.
Communication with the owner was great, especially when I thought I was locked out! (short story: I wasn't! :) ).
Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely log cabin perfect for our active lifestyles. The location is ideal for biking and hiking and close to all that Ketchum/ Sun Valley has to offer.

Quiet and Convenient
Great cozy place to stay. Close to town, yet had a secluded and quiet feel. Good garage for bike/gear storage. Internet was spotty unless next to wi-if router.

The location was perfect! Adjacent to the bike path, a short drive or a pleasant walk to the slopes, and in a quiet beautiful Ketchum neighborhood. We really appreciated the supportive beds after skiing. This is an older building and has not been recently upgraded, so it is somewhat rustic and a few things need repair (such as broken fire screen)- but the massive fireplace , 2 story windows, and high ceiling in the living area were highlights. The kitchen could use a deep cleaning and organization, but was well supplied.

Natalie's home was the perfect location for all of what Ketchum has to offer. And during our stay in snow season, that meant skiing. We skied three days at "Baldy" and enjoyed the short walk through the neighborhood and snow trail to the bridge at Sun Valley. Apres Ski was just a short walk to the main streets of Ketchum Some highlights for us were dinner at the Pioneer and High Line Hotel and coffee at Java on Fourth most mornings. We are an active family though so if you aren't able to walk 1-2 miles total, you might want to rent a car. Ketchum does not have a lot of taxi services or Lyft drivers. We also bought groceries at Atkinson's Market and used the kitchen for most breakfast and snacks before having dinner out. The kitchen is not modern in any way, but everything is fully functional and there are plenty of utensils, cookware, plates, glassware, and some left behind spices and condiments to ensure you can cook whatever you like. Loved the hot water pitcher for hot tea in the morning and night. The bathrooms are also not modern in any way, but the water pressure was amazing and there was more than enough hot water for our family of four. Very much appreciate that after a long day of skiing. One regret is that we didn't procure some wood for the beautiful fireplace. Since we didn't have a car, we could not ship wood to the house. Otherwise, our stay was perfect and we hope we can come back to Ketchum again soon and enjoy the amazing place again.

Cozy House, Well Equipped in Nice Area
My wife and I enjoyed our 8 night stay in February. The house was well outfitted. It has a cozy living room with a large rock fireplace and tall light-filling windows. The kitchen is well-outfitted. The location was nice to walk our dogs and very convenient to town and the ski hill. Would love to stay here again.

Cozy property, incredible location!
We were lucky enough to spend 23 nights this winter at Natalie's cozy Ketchum cabin. The location exceeded our expectations: It's an easy, scenic walk or cross-country ski to River Run Lodge, which made us feel like the home was practically ski-in, ski-out! It's also just a few blocks to downtown's fabulous restaurants and shops. Truly the BEST location. At the end of a full day, it's lovely to start a fire in the home's grand stone fireplace. The bonus room offered helpful storage space, and property management was great about clearing off the driveway after heavy snowfall. We did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen--while somewhat dated--had every pot, pan, gadget and dish we could need. The beds were comfortable and the house stayed nice and warm. Writing about it all now makes me want to go back!

Awesome location for hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures at the base of Baldy and near the bike path. But it is still very close to town. Quaint, nice, comfortable cabin feel with a fireplace.
