We had a wonderful, relaxing family outing at this beautiful property. The location is fantastic—close enough to enjoy great restaurants, boating, and outdoor activities, but also peaceful and quiet for a truly relaxing stay. While taking walks, the view of the lake was stunning, and we loved spending time outdoors just taking it all in. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed for a stress-free trip. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and easy access to local attractions. We hope to come back again!

Beautiful well kept home near the river and minutes away from our son’s wedding venue. Just down the road from the Pickle Factory / Marina! We enjoyed sitting on the large deck watching all the squirrels and chipmunks run up and down the trees. We also didn’t mind the frequent trains passing by😀

We loved the property, a little dusty but loved it. We didn’t realized that there a lot of stairs to walk into the house.. if someone struggles with knee problems- not good. Located perfectly with the vineyard so close and the river. Disappointed that we couldn’t use the riverfront- stairs on going down to River were covered with weeds. Dishwasher was broke, but we didn’t‘ mind. Overall- we would stay here again. The price was worth it.

Owner was very helpful, the directions for the stay were perfect. Was a pleasant, very enjoyable place to stay! Easy to get in and out. Awesome location as well.

We always rent as close to water as possible with views and easy fishing access. For the cost, we did not get what was advertised.
Trains running all hours of the day/night shook and rattled the house. No big deal as we got used to it after a few days. It was almost comical watching the plant dance!
There is a three car garage, but too full of building materials and equipment to safely fit our vehicle. You will need to walk the width thru garage as it’s the only access point to living quarters. The 2nd bathroom is also downstairs thru garage. Once we found it, lol, it was very nicely done.
Could only find one outdoor grill, pretty worn so passed and cooked with friends .It helped some as the dishwasher was tagged out of service.
Be careful on the upper deck as some boards will sag when stepped on. We did enjoy setting and chatting with relatives. Very peaceful and chairs very comfortable!.
The inside of this rental was very welcoming and homey. The ladder to the loft is almost vertical and pretty high, was very well decorated. We stayed on main level bedroom which was quite nice.
The area has some nice trees, but no lake view or access as advertised. I tried several stairways to the lake, but were are overgrown several feet high the full length. We ended up driving our equipment to the marina to fish.
All in all, a very nice place, but not for us.

My main problem with this property is it did not indicate it was not assessable at all and at age 67 that was hard for me to climb the two flights of stairs to get to the main level. Additionally, the ladder to the loft was very vertical and difficult from adults to prime, but it should’ve been stated that if you have any kind of accessibility issue, don’t rent this property.

We wanted a peaceful place to stay for our daughter’s wedding week knowing it would be busy and that we’d need some restoration. This was ideal! The furniture is comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the decor is tranquil. The big deck was a favorite. We’d return again without question!

The house was beautiful. It was just like described and didn't disappoint. Although, there were a flight of stairs that need to be used to get to the main living area, that maybe helpful for people that have mobility issues to know in advance.

We stayed here recently for our wedding weekend at Villa Bellezza. It couldn’t have been a more perfect space for us. Thank you so much for hosting us!!

Nice house to stay in, and location was perfect because we were part of a wedding at the winery across the main road.

We loved our stay at Tim’s place. It has a cozy cabin feel and is beautifully decorated. The whole place was spotless and comfortable. It’s more spacious than the pictures show and the second story deck was a great gathering spot. The neighborhood feels safe and welcoming. Tim provided information on things to do in the area and detailed check-in and check-out instructions. We stayed for a wedding in the area so we didn’t get to do much else but would definitely stay here again for a getaway.

We had the privilege of staying at this great property when we were in the area for a family wedding. The property was very clean and well equipped, and we were lucky to be able to spend a long evening out on the expansive deck in beautiful weather! The beds were very firm, but we got great sleep in this quiet neighborhood. Proximity to the winery was also a big plus for us!

We have stayed at this property before, it is always well stocked with everything you need. Had a small glitch with the AC our first day but it was blazing hot outside, owner was very helpful with ideas to get it to run, and had a tech out to look at it first think in the morning. Would definately stay here again!

The accommodations are exactly as advertised. It's a great place to stay. The deck was used quite a bit because surprisingly there were no mosquitos! very comfortable living space. The only negative is the steep stairs to get to the loft beds. Need to be careful going up and down.

It was a comfortable place to stay. We attended my daughters rehearsal dinner and wedding. We enjoyed lunch at the Winery that is very close by.

We had a great stay at Tim and Jane’s place. Well located for a stay in the Pepin area. The home was as described. It was very easy to check in and check out. Things to be aware of: stairs could be a challenge for some guests and you will certainly notice the passing trains.

Stunning Upper Mississippi location. Wonderful Vineyard across the street. Eagles and Hawks everywhere. What's not to like?

This house is so beautiful! Relaxing on the leather sofa in front of the wood-burning fireplace, while gazing out the huge windows was exactly what we were looking for. Our doggo loved hanging out on the giant balcony and listening to all the birds. Neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Communication with the host was easy and fast. Check in/check out were simple. Thanks for a great weekend!

This was a beautiful relaxing place
Great check in process and communication
So grateful for the flexibility in checkout time
We appreciated the cute Christmas decor. We were not thrilled with the beds … but overall our stay was lovely . Beautiful views !

Very homey property! Owners very easy to communicate with. Loved the neighborhood and views of the water. Close proximity to our daughter’s wedding venue at Hidden Meadows Barn! The sleeping area in the loft is accessible by a ladder, probably not ideal for young ones or elderly- there is no guard rail across the loft. We unfortunately did not discover the downstairs bathroom until we were departing 😜

My sister and a few of her friends needed a nice quiet weekend away before her wedding. This house was just the ticket. Quaintly decorated and in a great, quiet location!

The property has a great location being within walking distance of Pepin’s hot spots and beautiful scenery for walking/running. It was a perfect spot for our family to stay for our daughter’s wedding. Great open floor plan, huge deck to deck and friendly neighbors.

Beautiful cabin near the lake
We had a great time at the “Eagle’s Nest”. The house was beautiful and close by the lake. Loved the deck area as well. Would definitely visit again!!

Love it!!
Everything looks as gorgeous as the pictures!! Extrememly clean when you arrive and when they say they are fully stocked...they mean it. I don't think I have ever stayed at a place that stocked. They have anything and everything you can think of. Would like to make this a yearly stay!!

Fun in the sun!
This was our 2nd stay at the Eagles Nest! Great location to see the Pepin Marina and spend time on the beach. We drove to Frontenac State Park and hiked. We grilled out using the charcoal grill and had a great family supper on the deck. I recommend the Eagles Nest for families and anyone who wants to explore Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River Valley.

Great stay
Nice location very close to lake and marina

Good place for family
The cabin had plenty of sleeping space for everyone, and also plenty of seating for socializing and eating. Just be aware that much of the sleeping is in the loft which requires climbing a steep ladder.
The deck was great for sitting amongst the tree tops and bird watching. You can see the river from the deck too. There are lots of board games available, and the kitchen is well stocked.
Pepin itself doesn't have much going on, but does have some good food places. Definetely go to the Il Forno Italian restaurant at the winery and the Garden Pub and ice cream shop that has great outdoor seating.
For fishing we used Rutting Ridge Outfitters, and they are excellent! We caught a ton of Walleye and Sauger, and the guide was great and very experienced.
The only thing we didn't like was the trains. The rail line next to the house is very busy and it makes the whole house shake when a train goes by. So don't fear,it is not an earth quake!
Overall great experience and great hosts. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway
We stayed at the Eagles Nest in the beginning of March. The weather was cold and rainy but we stayed cozy and warm by the fire. Our son who just turned 4 loved the "magic room" where he found fun new toys to play with. We enjoyed many of the games, there were so many to choose from! This is a great spot for families. We would love to come back and see Lake Pepin during the warmer summer months. We hope to be back to the Eagles Nest! Thank you ❤️

Nice property for a quick family getaway in late winter. Took beautiful walks along Lake Pepin and saw a bald eagle in a tree right across the street!

Eagles' Nest stay
Very nice A frame cabin located just in the town of Pepin. Place is very comfortable and well appointed. Also a good place to stay if you have a dog. You can walk to an Italian restaurant from the place and walk down to Lake Pepin. We will be coming back! Joseph and Kristine.
