About this house rental
The Marina Bungalow at The Dockside is an open, airy, stylish space with panoramic views of Lake Pepin. Right on the harbor, this brand new remodel is designed in the mid-century modern style with vintage furniture, art, and all the comforts of a modern home. The prime location in Pepin, you are steps from the Harbor View Cafe, The Pickle Factory, RiverTime Wine Bar, and much more. End your evenings in the outdoor hot tub, watching the sunset.
This is one of two units on the Dockside property!
The Marina Bungalow sits right on the street level, just a stone's throw from the Pepin Marina. Lined with large windows, you'll take in a panoramic view of the lake -- the natural light during the day is amazing, and the sunsets are even better.
The 1700 square foot space features a large open floor plan with exposed beams, a huge kitchen with eat-in breakfast bar, and a large dining table -- a perfect spot for entertaining, hosting wedding dinners, or anything else!
Two spacious bedrooms with queen beds have full en suite bathrooms; one with a luxurious shower, and one with a full sized tub. Outside, you'll fine our outdoor hot tub, and a patio perfect for summer coffee and evening glasses of wine as the sun sets over the lake.
Please note that the Marina Bungalow is one of two units at The Dockside -- the other is the A-Frame Cabin. Each unit can be rented on it's own, or the entire property can be booked and a pass-through door can be unlocked to enjoy The Dockside as one massive, 4-bedroom, 4-bath home with two kitchens, two dining rooms, three living rooms/TVs, and a hot tub! Links for all listings are in my host profile.
I'm excited to host you!
There is a large driveway with plenty of space for three cars. You can walk all over the village, and lots of other sightseeing is a short drive away. Check-in is easy with a keybox and a code.
I am always reachable by phone, message and text for any questions or concerns!
Please note that there is an active train line right out in front of the house -- it runs the entire length of the village and river, and freight do trains pass by somewhat frequently, so once in a while there is the rumble of a train chugging by. Most people find it charming and not a big distraction (kids really love it), but if you're a very light sleeper this is something to note!
Also, please be aware that the Marina Bungalow is one of two units on the property, which is essentially a very large duplex. It's a fully private unit with a private entrance, but there are some shared walls with the A-Frame Cabin -- the walls are insulated and almost soundproof, but you still may hear some guest activity in the other unit.
There is so much to see and to do here in the great river valley! I'll be happy to share all my tips with you on dining, sightseeing, and activities.
Please remove your shoes in the entryway! Absolutely no parties. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and must be respected for the sake of any guests that may be staying in the A-Frame unit, and for our neighbors. No pets unless previously authorized by the host, and absolutely no smoking.
We've got super nice neighbors, so it's really important to make sure they are not disturbed during your stay. This means: absolutely no excessive noise, and no parties. Please be quiet and respectful while here, and when entering/exiting the property or spending time in the yard or on the deck. Thanks!

My family had a reunion in Pepin as it was the perfect half way point for us. We all had our own places. This location and home was the best of them all. Gorgeous decor with the comforting amenities to make it a favorite vacation spot. This exceeded expectations and would go again.
