The best Mtn cabin i have ever stayed in. Organized, clean, great location.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to vacation! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could ever ask for. The cabin was decorated so cute and made you feel like you were at home. The stream was one of our favorite parts. Our kids played out there for hours. We will definitely be going back next year!

I’ve rented a lot of VRBO’s and this one was hands down one of the best! We went for Thanksgiving 6adults & 4kids. So much room kids were down stairs playing and adults upstairs. Kitchen was definitely fully-stocked with every gadget, pot, pan, griddle, etc especially to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of towels, and hot tub specific towels. It was even decorated for Fall/Thanksgiving. They had fantastic instructions/decor & was very clean. WiFi was great. And the fire pit was amazing that also included firewood. And the sound of the creek was icing on the cake. Only hiccup we had was car trouble and the owner was gracious to allow us to extend our stay. It is recommended 4-wheel drive during winter months incase of snow as the drive-way is steep/gravel/and dark at night. We will be back!!!

This house was wonderful, I just wish we had been able to stay longer. The beds were comfortable and there was tons of space. The hot tub felt amazing, especially with the sounds of the stream in the background.
We would for sure stay here again. The property was absolutly beautiful and the house was stocked with lots of games. My kids loved the giant connect 4 and checkers games.
My only complaint, which was very minor, was each bathroom only had one bath towel. There was a note to the house cleaner to leave two, so I do not fault the home owner for this. Luckily there were several more towels in a container next to the hot tub. We'd for sure stay here again!

This property and location was amazing. The cabin is very roomy and gorgeous. Loved the small waterfall right outside and the creek right next to the cabin. Will be staying here again. Definitely recommend!!!

The house and surroundings were beautiful! Loved hearing the waterfall while on the porch. Loved the creek. Just right for the little one to play in. Wonderful folks to deal with. They answered all our questions and were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed staying here for a friends trip of adventures. The grounds are beautiful and some of our group enjoyed listening to the sound of the creek and waterfall while sleeping. The cabin was very spacious and easily accommodated our six-person crew. We all thought the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied. The porch as well as the hot tub was a lovely place to relax. The only criticism is having nowhere to take the trash when checking out on a Sunday and the internet speed was not good. We were able to watch tv without any issues. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Our family stayed here for our spring break. The place is absolutely perfect. You cannot beat the outside with all the places to relax and listen to the creek and waterfall. The inside was clean, and so much more than we expected. Thank you for letting us stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s private and quiet and I wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a big house with all the ammenities that you need. Location is great just, 1.6 miles from Catalochee Sky slopes. The owners are great people and answered in minutes every question/info needed.
The house is clean comfortable and has two levels that make it seem like two properties in one.
There is one non positive aspect, it is the quality of the internet, but It is pointed out in the description of the property and it is the result of being Satelite internet.
Whould I go back, 100% YES.

We had an amazing time at the Mountain creek cabin! My fiancé, his family and I had a great time. Everything was clean, impecable and had so many options to spend time within the cabin and don’t go anywhere else. Super comfortable living areas and outdoor too. Our favorite part was the hot tub, fire pit outside and the creek!

A week in Maggie Valley
We had a great family vacation in the mountains. The temperature was wonderful compared to summer weather at home. The cabin is fantastic for families, and the covered porch was a favorite hangout spot for everyone.

Nothing short of fabulous
This was a perfect home for eight of us, three generations. The creek and waterfalls mesmerized all of us. There is much to see in nearby towns, but you really are entertained enough by the creek if you just want to sit back and relax. The home was immaculately clean and very spacious.

Just Perfect!
This a great property with everything you need and more! Location is great… if you are skiing even better than great. The house had two separate living areas and kitchens. The outside was gorgeous, you are surrounded by streams and nature.
Highly recommended.

Excellent Family Trip
Excellent cabin with lots of privacy in a scenic location. The hosts were very prompt in responding to all our questions. They suggested a lot of good places to visit during the stay. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked up pretty good with everything that you would need. Make sure you have a SUV or 4X4 to get to this location. Our family had a great time! Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful stay
Our family had an amazing time at the property! The driveway was a bit scary but that seems to be the norm in the area. There was no shortage of kitchen appliances and gadgets to prepare meals. We enjoyed the stream, creek, hot tub and fire pits. We weren't ready to leave!

FIRST, kudos to Kevin for a smooth trip from beginning to end! He was always available a few times I reached out! I highly recommend his cabin for small or big groups! My family all now live in Florida. My daughter brought up an idea for all of us (myself, husband, Daughter and her 3 year old daughter, my Son and his wife and a friend) to go somewhere for a getaway and take our 3 yr old granddaughter to see "snow". Since we aren't flying due to the mess our country is in, where do you go to see SNOW that's driving distance for a long weekend? After reviewing MANY locations, and read that Maggie Valley might have a small chance to see snow, that was my target! Well when I found this location it seemed perfect for the 7 of us...AND IT WAS!!! We enjoyed the bonfire, building a snowman, and going sled riding up by the ski resort .. I will tell you, if you go in the winter, use a 4 wheel drive!Out of 3 vehicles, only my husband could get up the private drive to get on the main road. The night before we left, we bought a couple bags of de-icer and poured it on the road so my son and daughter could get their vehicles out! . This would also be great during other seasons as well!! It truly was a magical time! ❤️

Great Property for Our 2-Family Vacation
We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Creek Cabin (December 2020). The check-in process was easy, and we appreciated the provided directions to the cabin. The creeks on the property are wonderful; we loved listening to them while making dinner, and the kids (and our mini-schnauzer) enjoyed exploring around the waterfalls. There was a bit of snow left from Christmas when we arrived, which made playing outside even more special! All bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. The Christmas decorations were a huge hit with our kids and truly added to our holiday trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, a griddle, waffle maker, coffee makers, etc. The property is closer to the road that we thought, which wasn't a problem for us; however, some may be bothered by the traffic noise. We heard trucks engine breaking several times a day and sometimes at night. The split layout was perfect for our group since we have kids with different nap and bedtime schedules. We also appreciated the gate at the top of the steps since we had little ones and our dog with us. The hot tub was great, and our kids enjoyed having s'mores for the first time while we sat around the fire pit! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Awesome cabin on a Creek in the woods
Our 9 year old granddaughter & all adults loved it! Hot tub, 4 BR, 3 BA, fireplaces, 2 living rooms. Large screen TV's, foosball, washer & Dryer, large deck, swings, firepits, waterfall & a big Creek running adjacent! Plenty to do away from the cabin too! Don't miss this!

Mountain Creek Cabin
Our family consisted of 4 generations including 2 children under 2. The cabin met every need and then some. The hosts have provided a gate at the top of the stairs making it safe for children to be upstairs (still with supervision of course) and the property was absolutely perfect for them to safely explore. We were center to everything we needed and just down the road from Joey's Pancake House which is always a staple of our Maggie Valley visits.

This property has it all!
We love our mountain trips and I research properties all over the NC mountains to find the "perfect" cabin for our family. This property was by far our favorite cabin yet! The property is not challenging to access. The babbling creek provided hours of enjoyment for my 7 and 9 yr old boys. The sound of the running water from the creek and waterfall is so relaxing! Fire pit for smores...hot tub for relaxing after hikes. The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools needed to prepare dinners. Easy access to the blue ridge parkway and all the fun adventures you can find! Soco Falls, Mingo Falls, Waterrock Knob....etc etc The host was very friendly and responsive. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to vistors. We hope to be back for more adventures in the years to come!

Great Maggie Valley Getaway
We had a fun and relaxing stay at this wonderful cabin in Maggie Valley. The creek running below the cabin and the waterfall outside the back deck provided a perfect backdrop for an easygoing and carefree holiday! We highly recommend this cabin, and you won't be disappointed.

Perfect privacy inside and out.
A fabulous master suite and three spacious bedrooms are all separated by living and dining spaces with super comfortable seating for family and friends. The kitchen area, large dining table, bar height island and cozy sectional sofa easily handled our party of eight. A downstairs wet bar, second refrigerator, large flat screen TV and plenty more seating was ideal for the guys on game day. The setting is spectacular with a canopy of trees, constant sound of running water from the creek and waterfall, outdoor seating, two fire pits, swings, mountain laurel and unspoiled nature all around. The owners are all about making their guests feel welcome. The communication from booking to departure was warm and friendly. Mountain Creek Cabin has got it all. Everyone agreed it’s a place you want to come back to again and again.

Perfect getaway
We have stayed home since the pandemic started so we decided to meet some friends at the cabin to get away for a short time. The cabin is so peaceful and the creek/waterfall is so relaxing! We sat outside on the deck more than we stayed inside. The cabin was perfectly sized for two families of 4 to be comfortable and have room to spread out. The kids enjoyed the swing and playing in the creek/waterfall. The cabin seems off in the middle of nowhere but it’s so close to local shops and restaurants. We truly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

Perfect for our family!
Loved this place! The pictures do not do it justice! The waterfall was very refreshing and Kevin added a beautiful wooden table outside on the deck, where we ate all our meals. Plenty of room for 6 adults, and could easily travel to the Smokies or Asheville. The wifi was a little bit slow but none of us needed to work while there. Kevin was SO responsive, both for questions before coming, and even after leaving, since my mom thought she may have left something there. A++++++!!!
