About this house rental
Enchanting log cabin recently remodelled, close to Sedona for one or two families, with 2 bedrooms (1 king & 1 queen) and 2 bathrooms (each with shower and 1 tub) and large loft for kids with two double beds. Excellent location at only 20 minutes from Sedona and very close to Old Town Cottonwood and mining town Jerome. Large stone fireplace dominates social areas and completely new kitchen makes socializing a pleasure. Bathroom showers have been updated, new carpet and fresh painting makes spaces bright, enjoyable and appealing.
Large fenced back yard and comfortable shaded patio set-up with barbecue for your grilling needs. Area close to the house has artificial lawn, thus always green. The house is an area that is suburban and you will see cows and horses in neighboring properties.
There are great restaurants in the vicinity in Old Town Cottonwood, as well as art galleries, cafes, bars and wine tasting rooms. This is wine country in Arizona, so its a perfect location if you are interested in discovering some of the great wines that this land is producing. The red rocks of Sedona are very close and its hiking trails, at only 20 minutes distance. You have the benefit of being in Sedona, but at the same time being in a quiet outside of town place.

The property was great. The steps were a little steep but the kids loved them. We also loved the back yard. Only drawback was that there were no condiments in the fridge.

We loved the house for it's fun cabin charm and great proximity to everything. We would happily stay there again!

We wished we could have stayed a couple days longer. Cottonwood overall is a great area to visit (non touristy). The home was wonderful! We enjoyed the area, the ease of getting around town and the restaurants. The house was VERY clean. Washer & dryer worked great. Great patio area to enjoy the peace & quiet, but allowed you to visit with friends without being disturbed by other neighbors or neighborhood noises. I would highly recommend this home for anyone staying in the area. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your rental!

Very nice cabin very spacious and clean. All modern conveniences available. Perhaps need to bring extra toilet paper and Kleenex but other than that very comfortable. Great for large families and a pet. Near many wineries and Dead Horse Ranch park was lovely. Recommend.

We were 6 adult women celebrating a 50th birthday. Log cabin was fabulous, fire place added warmth for the chilly evenings. Location was great 1 1/12 mile to old town Cottonwood. (30minute walk). Lots to do and see relatively close to the property. Kitchen had a few basic items. Coffee, sugar a few spices. Enough plates and seating for our group of 6. Nicely manicured back yard. All in all great gathering place.

This house is great. It deserves more than 5 stars. Cottonwood is located just a short drive from Sedona and a scenic drive to Prescott with Jerome on the way. We enjoyed Dead Horse State Park and the Cottonwood Community Center. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the downtown. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. If you like John Deere tractors from the 30's, 40's and 50's, don't miss Cornville where there are nearly 100 of these tractors lined up along the highway. The back of the house faces east where there is a nice patio on which we enjoyed the early morning sun while having our morning coffee. There is a large fenced in yard beyond that. We greatly enjoyed the comfort and warmth of the log home. If you have ever wanted to try a log home then this is the place. The rooms are large with a huge sectional couch facing the stone fireplace and big screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed including sharp steak knives. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

The home is so comfortable and the neighborhood is quaint.

House is super clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and charming. We have done a “dog friendly” get away over Halloween a couple of times and this place provided the perfect setting. Loved walking in the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Close to all that Cottonwood has to offer. We will return!

Cottonwood is a quaint town to visit and this property is a great central location for trips to Sedona and Jerome.
VERY clean and comfortable property in nice neighborhood . Enjoyed our stay.

This is our second time staying this delightful log cabin in the green belt area of Cottonwood. The neighborhood is perfect for taking morning or evening walks and the neighbors are friendly. Location is just minutes to Old Town Cottonwood where you'll find some great wine tasting rooms and restaurants (I recommend the Colt Grill, you won't be disappointed). At night we sat out late at night in the back yard and just stared at the stars. All that having been said, there is only minor complaint. The speed of the internet is so very slow here. Setting that aside we would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant, quiet place to stay that has all your basic needs and comforts.

It was very comfortable and relaxing. One thing I’d like to suggest is that you should place a door handle on the inside of bathroom. Diffidently going back next year. Thank you!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was immaculate with a beautiful yard and patio area. Jerome and Sedona are short drives away. The owner was very helpful in getting us settled in. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the Cottonwood area.

We were impressed the minute we drove up. Has that home away from feeling. Very clean and everything you need in the kitchen to cook and set a table for 7 is provided. Had a great time. Very much considering staying here again for our next little family reunion getaway... thank you so much Alex.

We enjoyed this cute, cabin-style home with nice amenities. Family room furniture was comfortable and beds were a little hard for us. We enjoyed wine tasting downtown, the Tuzigoot National Monument, The Copper Museum and walks at Dead Horse State Park. It was nice to have meals there in the nice backyard and coffee in the morning on the front porch. Our dog, Millie loved the backyard!

It has almost everything you need, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The home was perfect for us. 6 adults and 2 children. Great location. Would have liked to have had a smart TV in order to access Netflix, Amazon and You Tube. WIFI could be better also. All in all, we’d happily stay again.

Loved our stay! Everything exactly as pictured. Very relaxing back yard and loved seeing the hummingbirds each day. Close to all the areas that were on our troop agenda, will definitely stay here again!

Myself, husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and nephew attended a family members wedding in Cottonwood. House was the right configuration of beds and bathrooms. Plenty of space for us. Location was great too- we seemed to be 2.5 miles or 10 min from everywhere we needed to go- yet we were in a quiet neighborhood. Rental was clean and stocked with coffee and sweetner which was a nice touch. Host was very responsive. Thanks!

It was a well cared for property, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a small problem and they were quick to resolve it.

Tested this site for EMF and this area shows a very low reading. This rental cabin/home is excellent for those who are EMF sensitive,

Good amenities, the house was clean and had plenty of room for my large family. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located to all the sites. Just 10 minutes to Jerome and 30 minutes to Sedona. Its just 5 minutes to Downtown Cottonwood. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Cottonwood and we stayed at this property for one month. The location is great, lots of hiking, restaurants, biking, etc. I agree with other reviews that this is a clean cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Every neighbor that we spoke to was really nice and welcoming. It had all the basics and worked out well for us. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because we had a large critter in the crawlspace that kept us and our dog up every night for one week. Given that this critter issue also came up an another review, we were surprised it was happening again (but I suppose living so close to the river, it's a common occurance?). Alex was very quick to respond to this issue however, and the caretaker and his team were very committed to getting rid of it and to ensure it didn't get back under the house. They all worked very hard at this and always kept us in the loop. I agree with others that the internet wasn't the best and it would have been great to see some pamphlets on the area (restaurants, activities, parks etc). If we could suggest one improvement it would be to have better security - not that this was a bad area, but just for some peace of mind given all the "no trespassing" signs that a lot of neighbors had posted. (maybe guests could use the security system that was there?) All in all, this is a nice cabin and a great place to stay.

Stayed with my family for Thanksgiving and it was a great experience for the holiday. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable accommodations, overall great stay!

We always wanted to stay in a log home. This home was lovely!
Perfect for us and our adult dog. Loved walking her every morning ... and seeing the "designer Chickens" in the yard ... cows in the back property and roosters crowing each morning. Love old town Cottonwood!
4.8
This was our second stay here with two friends. Great for our dog with fenced areas. Neighbors' chickens come to visit. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped - much appreciated. Beds comfy. It's dark, but log houses tend to be, and you can find sun outside on the sweet front porch or back patio/yard. A dimmer switch for the dining area would be great. Both Old and new Cottonwood are quite close, and we spent every day doing some of the wonderful hikes between Sedona and Clarkdale. We recommend this stay.
