Beach Oddessy is an architect designed luxury beach house ideal for the perfect family getaway with deep water waterfront mooring and pontoon. It is located on the water at South Stradbroke Island Waters, South Stradbroke Island. The award winning house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and will accommodate a maximum of 12 people.

Great fun for all the family with kayaks and bikes as well as a great hours for entertaining BBQ, deck and Foxtel!

Located alongside one of Qlds most beautiful seaside national parks with a large array of wallabies, monitors birds and other wildlife as well as close walks to sheltered beaches and a 15 minute walk to untouched surf beaches. The home is only accessible via your own boat or water taxi.

Your stay at the beach house includes use of:

- Private pontoon for boat mooring
- Pool/Spa
- 6 bikes provided for touring of island
-1 double and 1 single kayak
- Private, sandy beach for swimming
- DVD player/movies, large screen with foxtel and wifi
- Stereo with bluetooth
- Linen and towels are supplied, with the exception of beach towels

We travelled to this lovely property by boat from our home on the GC. The home is super well equipped with nice appliances, utensils a great BBQ and smart tv with all the streaming apps which the kids loved at night after long days of swimming in the canal, the sparkling plunge pool with jacuzzi, riding the brand new cruiser bikes, fishing, bush walks and boating. Ken & Claudia were really accommodating and fantastic property managers with great communication. The location is great, so close to Gold Coast yet felt like we were a million miles away. The house easily slept two families of five, the only thing i would suggest for the place is some outdoor sun lounges or a daybed to relax on. We would definitely recommend & return to Beach Odyssey for a relaxed getaway.

Had the weekend with family for my wife's birthday. Magnificent house with all of the amenities. Although we did get out and about, there's no real need. The house is well equipped and just a relaxing place to stay. Credit to the owners. Can't wait to come back.

We had an excellent stay that catered for every age group. Plenty of activities at the house and the surrounds. The bikes were an excellent way to explore the island. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in this little piece of paradise. Thanks for everything

Stayed at this property for a weekend getaway and it was nothing short of magical. The location is prime and the house had plenty of space and amenities. The bicycles were a nice bonus so we could explore the island. The communication between Jay and Jodie was impeccable and they were very welcoming. I would definitely be happy staying here again.

Our stay here was beyond amazing! The hosts Jay & Jodie are so lovely and very easy to communicate with. They allowed us to add extra guests that went above their limit. High ceilings and open space living that opened up to the deck with the pool was definitely our favourite part. Highly recommend for large families, it did not disappoint. Cant wait to visit again.

Would definitely recommend staying here! We were a group of 3 families. The kids loved the pool, the space and the freedom to run around. The hosts were amazing, catering to our needs including changing the date at the last minute due to bad weather. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you again, will be back

Beautifully designed canal front property in quiet and friendly residential community. No loud parties, 2km bush walk access to the somewhat delapidating Couran Cove resort. Peaceful and quiet and relaxing. Need to take your own supplies as no shops available. We love the calm and isolation of this place, and the outstanding management and extra-ordinarily well equipped property.

We live on The GC and had done a few trips to Tipplers but not really explored South Stradbroke before. What a surprise! Such a beautiful place with access to the Broadwater and fishing but also the surf for swimming. Long trail runs and walking were such a delight. The house came with bikes that entertained the kids. Access to Couran Cove Restaurants was a 3 km walk but made the post meal coma go away! Food was great. The house easily accommodated our family with age ranges from 8-adults. Well supplied with all the equipment needed but take all other supplies for cooking. Parking the boat was a challenge for novices but the fabulous neighbours came out in force to help and made it really easy. We will certainly be back! Thank you for a wonderful get away.

Would happily return now that we know the process. Water taxi was a pleasant way to get to and from Sanctuary Cove but we also had a ‘tinnie’ which was great for getting the coffee at Tipplers Cafe. All 6 adults and two babies had a ball - thank you.

This beach house was perfect for our weekend away. We had 3 families with young children and the space was perfect. South straddie is a great island and the use of Couran Cove pools were good to cool off and shallow for young children. The bikes were a hit with the adults and made exploring the island an adventure. Thank you for having us.

Superb family holiday experience on South Stradbroke Island.

Beach Odyssey provided our large family with outstanding accommodation in a stunning environment. The house is modern and very well equipped and offers so many activities for families that one week was not enough. Easy access to the Couran Cove resort provided extra activities including childrens' play areas, swimming pools and gyms for the parents (if that's your thing). Here there is also coffee shops and restaurants if you not into cooking. The surf beach is a 2.5km bike ride away and there are 6 bikes at the property. It is an extremely safe environment for the children who can play and swim or use the kayaks provided, directly outside the house on the beach front. More than enough tables, chairs indoor entertainment also. What was missing? Maybe two or three outdoor loungers for the oldies. We brought our own but would have preferred to have a couple there. I would recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful holiday with opportunity to enjoy both the National Park environment and tap into the Resort scene.
