About this cottage rental
A gorgeous traditional old Queensland beach style Cottage with private swimming pool, it is a little private oasis, full of extras and thoughtful touches, excellent value for the size of accommodation and super clean and beautifully presented.
A detached property with everything you need to make holiday memories.
Newly renovated bathroom, with Shower, Basin, Toilet.
Separate powder room. New Air conditioning in main bedroom. Open plan living area is airconditioned too.
Please check availability on our calendar as we do not accept bookings that leave gaps between bookings less than our minimum nights as its impossible to fill those nights, happy to discuss further and work something out. Minimum booking is 3 nights. Christmas and New year have minimum of 6 nights, no gaps between, and not check in or check out on public holidays over this 2 week period.
Rates on calendar are for 4 people, this is a small cottage, we wont allow overcrowding, if children are included in the booking please specify, we allow of maximum of 6 people including kids, this property gives excellent value for smaller groups, couples or small families with young children.
The 3rd bedroom only accommodates 2 children. Over 12 years are considered adult, due to the size of our beautiful little home, and the maintenance, wear and tear, and overhead costs. If you want to book up to 6 people please discuss with us first, as the beds in 3rd bedroom are essentially for children.

The lovely large swimming pool, is an old pool, but has a salt water filter system so lovely it is really refreshing an looks lovely when the sun is shining. Full of Queensland Charm this trendy Cottage has been beautifully updated with such attention to detail while retaining it's charming original character, giving you a true Queensland holiday experience.

The exit clean only covers 2.5 hours for cleaning anything above that will be charged for. The exit clean and professional laundry fees do not include
extra cleaning, weekly cleaning, and professional laundry fees for stained linen and or towels, or cleaning up after pets. If you leave excessive mess and the cottage is not similar to how you found it, charges will apply. Longer bookings will be charged an extra cleaning fee to cover at least 2.5 hours over an above our normal exit clean fee.
Minimum Age of primary guest making the booking is 25. Only guests included in the booking may stay at the premises.
This is a family neighbourhood, and is generally quiet, however we cannot control activities on neighbouring properties. We do not accept late check ins after 7.30pm.

Everything was so easy. Great location. The house had everything you needed. Felt like home away from home. We were very pleased to have our fur baby with us too This was the 2nd time we stayed here and will definately be making it our annual stay.

Brilliant combination stay, theme parks, surfing, family gathering, shopping and exploring.
Location was brilliant and well furnished to enjoy the house and the local amenities.

The property is old but is kept very clean and has everything you need for a lovely getaway. We took our dog and although the grassed area was quite small in area, it was enough room as there was another fenced off area as well as the deck and pool area. There was also a quiet park at the end of a court nearby. Some fantastic shops within walking distance however a bit far for the elderly. Driveway can be a little tricky to navigate with a large car. All in all it was a fantastic stay as it had everything you needed - home away from home 😊

Great cosy and inviting with a lovely homely feel. There is absolutely everything you could need from
a coffee machine to travel esky for day trips. Pool is great to cool if in and lovely outdoor deck area. We had our dogs and they were made to feel equally at home there. Easy access to shop, supermarkets and beaches.

We enjoyed our stay here with our two French bulldogs. Close to the local Shopping Centre and the park where the dogs could have a run.

Booked Karens quaint cottage from the UK to spend with my son, daughter in law & grandchildren & small dog Cottage was ideally located for shops & theme parks.Great communication from agent throughout our stay. Swimming pool was ideal size for my young grandchildren.All said & done we had a rilliant time

This is a lovely cottage-style house. The house has a very homely feel which made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The pool was refreshing and very welcome on those hot days. The little doggy touches were a nice surprise as well as the Tim Tams.

Communication was excellent. Property location was perfect for what we needed and the house was very clean and inviting. Some nice little touches were tim tams, a loaf of bread, some milk, butter, coffee and tea bags. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to be close to theme parks, surfers paradise and some lovely shops.

We appreciated having early access, when we had a blackout we were offered esky ice and lamp , we didn’t need them as power was back on after 3 hours , but was good to know .

We loved our almost two week stay at the beach style cottage. The three bedrooms were comfortable and the kids loved the pool. The location is pretty central to everything Gold Coast with a short drive to the theme parks, shops and surfers beaches. The pool and house do need a refresh, but still in okay condition and are maintained. The driveway is a bit awkward with a dog leg near the gate but easy work with a reversing camera. Yard was enclosed and a nice fit for our mini-Schnauzer.

We had a perfect 2 week holiday and loved the charm and comfort of the Surfers Beach cottage. The location was excellent with multiple shops nearby and the best of Surfers Paradise, a short drive away. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen with all mod cons, and the amazing relaxing pool area was blissful. We stayed with our Lagotto and there was a thoughtful gift for him as well when we arrived. The personal touches and inclusions made it like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place, and can't wait to come back.

We spent the loveliest week at this cottage. We couldn't have been happier. Karen is a brilliant host. The amount of thoughtful "little extras" was wonderful and just added to the experience. She had thought of everything. It truly was a perfect week, with nothing to worry about.

We found the house to be very clean, accommodating and had everything we needed for the week.
Great location-short drive to the shops, the theme parks , beaches and parks.

The property was extremely clean, spacious and felt like home. The pool was really warm and lovely to swim in. Everything was in working order and the host was quick to answer to all of our messages. The only thing I was disappointed about is not being able to extend our stay by a day even though it was available (only a two night option was offered).

Absolutely amazing stay, cannot rate it highly enough. House was spotless, check in communication seamless, new dog toys for our fur baby and even a bottle of bubbly and chocolates to help us celebrate the new year. Hands down the best place I have ever stayed. We didn't want to go home!

Property was a lovely littke cottage. It was a bit older than we expected but it was fairly clean. It had all the amenities we needed & was close to Surfers. Our dog also enjoyed his stay

A great spot for a coast escape. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed - even the dogs were well catered for with toys and treats! Unfortunately the weather was slightly too cold for us to take advantage of the pool this time - hopefully we can return one day to enjoy a swim. Thank you for having us Karen 😊

we had a great time in this very cozy and clean house. I was very impressed by the attention to detail in the garden and the attention to guests and the dog. if I really have to find a problem: I would put a better vacuum cleaner !!!! haha but on vacation it's fine! thank you and see you soon!

This cottage is absolutely perfect! It fit all 6 of us comfortably. The best part about this place was it was central to everything, we were able to experience so much on our holiday as the longest drive was only 20mins away. Our host and agent were incredibly accommodating, their communication was fast and polite. This place is so worth the stay and I hope anyone that stays after us has an amazing stay like we did.

A great little cottage with all of the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. Great communications with the owner all the way through, and surprise little welcome gifts on our arrival. Clean and tidy place. Would definitely stay here again. We had a great holiday.

Excellent location and property
Karen was a great host and the house was ver clean and well stocked. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we couldn’t use the pool but overall it was a great stay.

Lovely quent cottage
Well maintained and charming character home. Ideal for a small family or group We had a lovely stay there for the GC Marathon weekend. Everything was just right except the pool which was a little cool, etter come back in the warmer months next time. Hosts were most accomodating going out of there way to make the ready for us to book in a little earlier so we could avoid the infamous GC Friday afternoon M1 car park

Extremely clean little cottage
This little cottage is extremely clean and exactly what we needed for just sleeping and close to theme parks.
The owner is very house proud and leaves a lot of instructions during our stay and on notes around the home.
Beds are firm, but after long days at theme parks we slept well.
Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to other families.

Great dog friendly family house
This property is the perfect place for a family get away if you want to take your dogs with you. The house is so very clean and well presented. The pool was a favorite of my 13 year old daughter and her friend. Dogs loved it - they could be on the veranda and still feel part of everything. Only negative is that it is not very close to any beaches (you need to drive) but with the pool it was not such a big deal for us.

Amazing holiday property
I stayed with my husband three kids, grandma and dog. Karen was an amazing host and we all loved staying in her home. Everything you could possibly think of needed was supplied and taken care of. I can’t wait to go back again.

Perfect Pet-friendly cottage
The cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Karen is a wonderful host & it was a delight to feel so welcomed with our dog. So many small touches! E.g. Dog treats, fresh milk, butter & hot cross buns for b’fast. The property was beautifully clean & absolutely no doggy smell from previous canine travellers.

Adequate at best
We stayed at the property for four weeks and our stay was adequate at best. I'm uncertain of the point of leaving a thorough review as I can see from previous reviews that the owner will no doubt leave a lengthy response maintaining her majority of five star reviews and criticising heavily each point raised. It's great that so many people give this cottage five stars, this was not my personal view. And the communication with owner was unnecessary, as an avid traveller across the world I have stayed in many, many establishments and do not require multiple emails and phone calls regarding the check out process. I also do not appreciate being asked not to send a message via this platform outside of Aus hours when I was in a different time zone because it woke the owner. We have the ability, in this modern era, to choose to be notified from online platforms vs. our phone - to be present for emergencies but not across the board. But no doubt the owner will respond to this message over enthusiastically as all the communication has been... Personally this is not the experience I prefer. The cottage is adequate at best, the location is good, but after four weeks we were very, very ready to depart.

Perfect Little Cottage
Great little cottage with everything you need. Neat and tidy , great location, close to everything you’d want to see.
Our little dogs were comfortable and enjoyed the stay too.
