We have the perfect location for your needs and desires. Specializing in large groups, weddings, family reunions, outfitters, corporate meetings, and retreats. This property has about 6,400 s.f. of living space consisting of the lodge and the retreat house, with an attached 3-car garage. It sits on 35 acres with beautiful views of the adjoining mountains. Minutes from downtown Cody which has the World-Famous Cody Nite Rodeo, Buffalo Bill Historical Center and Museums, nightly re-enacted gunfights, shopping, rec center with pool, and more. Also minutes from the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, Buffalo Bill Dam and Visitor's Center.

We had a great stay. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything we could hope for. The only suggestion I have is to highlight THAT VIEW in the listing. Simply amazing!

We recently stayed at the beautiful cabin and had an absolutely wonderful time! The cabin was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our entire family with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was a dream - fully stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need, including an industrial coffee maker, icemaker, crockpots, several griddles and more. Each bedroom was comfortable and provided a cozy retreat after a full day. We loved the outdoor space, especially playing cornhole together, two pellet grills and one of the highlights of our stay was watching the horses nearby- beautiful! If you're looking for a spacious, well-equipped cabin for a family getaway, this is a perfect place. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a family reunion with 14 people from 3 different states. 8 adults and 6 kids from 8-12. The host met us at check-in and provided a full tour of the premises. There are so many bedrooms. During our week we had a couple of interactions with the hosts Linda and Rick and each one was a delight. We weren't in the house during the day much as we had planned a number of outings (Yellowstone, rafting, rockhounding, the Rodeo etc. We went into Yellowstone from both the East entrance and the northeast entrance via the Chief Joseph Trail (beautiful scenery). At night we cooked a lot and had a campfire on the patio, with smores of course. The view is amazing and we got to watch a thunderstorm one night. All in all we fell in love with the property and enjoyed very much dealing with the hosts. We would highly recommend this venue for as many as 40 people. We had a blast.

22 participants, 3 generations of family from 5 states. Wide variety of activities available, for which hosts did excellent job arranging information and passes. Rural; there was no feeling of encroachment. Plenty of room both inside and out, and great scenery.
Hosts were very attentive to hospitality and communication. Boris (a big, friendly dog) did his part, too, checking with us frequently.

The location was absolutely perfect for our small family wedding. Not only is the lodge perfect for a large group with many beds/toilets/seating but the property managers were SO GRACIOUS and flexible with many caterers/service people needing to come and go outside of the official check-in/out time. I couldn't have been happier with all the amenities and quality of the property!!!

We were so impressed with this VRBO. The house, actually 2 houses were immaculate. Beautiful sunsets viewed from the large deck. We appreciated the gift basket that Linda had prepared and the VIP rodeo tickets. What a fantastic find!!!! Everything was perfect and I would give it ten stars. We hated to leave this very special place.

This was a great property to host 22 people! They had 40 coffee mugs, large, a huge coffee maker. We cooked and it was fun and easy. There were horses all around. It was a truly peaceful place. Bring fire for their fire pit, which looked fun. All in all great experience. They even greeted us when we arrived.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Eight bedrooms and 6 bedrooms have their own bathroom, two bedrooms share a bathroom. Three sets of washer/dryer combos made laundry a breeze. Three refrigerators, 2 kitchens, 3 living rooms, and an industrial size ice machine make this the PERFECT family vacation spot! We had 14 adults and plenty of space if you needed privacy. There were horses in the field outside the home. Your mountain view from the deck was postcard worthy. Our hostess, Linda, was quick to respond and so friendly. We LOVED Bull Moose Retreat.

My family all stayed there was a group of 15 of us, ranging in age from 71-5. We really enjoyed our stay, the deck has amazing views, there is so much room, and the kids absolutely loved the place. They didn’t want to leave. The house really has everything you need for cooking meals at the house as well. The house is in a great location, just minutes away from really anything in Cody. Linda and Rick were so friendly! Linda was so accommodating, she was just a phone call or text away. She responded so quickly, and gave us some great recommendations for things to do and see. We loved our visit.

This was a perfect place to hold an anniversary party. My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Moose Bull Lodge. It was perfect. The owners were very nice. The houses had plenty of room and a huge kitchen. Outdoors was great too. Horse shoes and fire pit. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect Family Reunion Home
This beautiful, spacious lodge held all 19 of our family with room to spare. Hosts Linda and Rick are incredible and so conscientious! Acreage provides amazing views of the mountains and proximity to Cody as well as Yellowstone. Couldn’t have asked for a better place and will consider booking in the future!

Captivating Cody
The home on Bull Moose Trail was just right for our family reunion. It is a perfect location for visiting Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, local hiking, river rafting, a Cody Museum visit, the nightly rodeo, exploring the downtown, and so much more. On top of all that we found time to relax on the beautiful decks overlooking the mountains. Wyoming is beautiful and holds a special place in our hearts now. The owners, Linda and Rick, went out of their way to make us comfortable. It was a great vacation spot!

Bull Moose Retreat: Great for Families.
We had a family reunion/vacation in July 2022 and the whole family (11 adults and 8 children) stayed at Bull Moose Retreat. The large house was well-maintained and well-equipped. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. The house is located just outside of Cody, WY in a very scenic setting. We highly recommend this property.

Brown Family Vacation - 2022
We stayed here with our Kids and Grandkids for 4 days and loved every minute of it. Views are awesome and we were close enough to town to run in to the rodeo (which was the grandkids favorite part!). We all wished we would have had another week and are talking about when we can return. Rick and Linda were amazing and available for anything we needed. Can’t wait for next time!!

Great place for our family reunion
First, let me say that Linda is the best. She was available for every question I had prior to and during our stay. The property and surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. The owners (Rick and Linda) have spared no expense on this property and the amenities. The beds, linens and furniture were so comfortable and luxurious. There was so much room to spread out for all of our activities. Even the garage was great with the picnic tables and extra refrigerators. We will absolutely recommend the beautiful slice of heaven and will stay again if in the area.

Wonderful property!
We had 36 of us for a week! The property was fantastic for all of us! The fenced backyard was great for all of the kids to play in safely! Rick and Linda were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed Boris visiting nightly! Highly recommend!

Fabulous views
Great house, great hosts, great views and the antelope did roam through! The house was spacious , clean, and well stocked with dishes, silverware, and miscellaneous spices for our large group. There are even metal sticks in the pantry for our smore's by the fire pit! Thanks for the great stay.

We held a family reunion at Bull Moose Retreat - our second stay - and had a wonderful time. The facility was clean and comfortable, and has a nice kitchen which we used to prepare all our meals. We would highly recommend this spot for family gatherings!

Great place for a family reunion
This was a great home for our family reunion. 19 of us stayed here. We enjoed ping pong, the fire pit, the projector,and the deck ( for watching the stars.). The kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen of all the VRBO's we have rented. The hosts were superb!

Amazing Family Reunion
We have been planning this reunion for almost 3 years. We are so grateful we got to go ahead with our plans (Covid). Linda was such a wonderful help in our planning. She promptly answered all our questions and even helped us find the perfect photographer. When I asked if there were noise restrictions (we were planning a family dance), she told me we could "whoop and hollar" all we wanted. Perfect!
The home is wonderful and has everything we needed. I have no idea how many pots of coffee we went through (loved the coffee maker) and the ice machine was greatly appreciated! We kept it working the whole time! Everyone had their own bed, we could all spread out and the yard was perfect for all the time the grandchildren spent playing baseball. The kids loved watching the rodeo stock in the pasture. And we absolutely adored their dogs, Boris and Natasha. They were the perfect welcome committee. The large main room was perfect for all of our awards ceremonies that we held every night. Thanks again, Rick and Linda for all the "extras", including passes for the rodeo, which the grands loved! You made us feel so welcome.

The minute we arrived at Bull Moose Retreat we knew that we had made the right choice. Linda met us and gave us a tour of the beautiful house(es). She was more than accommodating and one of the friendliest, helpful hosts anyone could wish for.
There were 27 of us with plenty of room "to be together" or spread out. The parents loved the fenced in back yard for the children with decks overlooking the yard and the beautiful mountains. Everything was perfect, the kitchen was spacious and bedrooms comfortable. The view was unforgettable, the house beautiful, the hosts helpful, friendly and genuinely good people.
