Fabulous location, Patricia and Seán were very welcoming, kind and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and there was lots of space for the family to spread out and relax. The beds were super comfy and the showers great. The whole house was spotlessly clean. Our hosts went the extra mile to ensure we had enough fuel for the wood stove and gave us suggestions for things to do locally.
Perhaps a couple of board games or books to enjoy whilst on holiday might be a nice touch to have.

Beds where big and comfy house was spotless and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of town. We both agreed that we had best nights sleep in ages in those comfy big beds.
Didn't enjoy the weather but that's not the houses fault!!😀

If your looking for a nice quiet
spot the location is beautiful. Set well in off the road its very safe. We had our dog with us and it was very near Belleek woods and castle so ideal for early morning and evening walks. The house itself was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a great break. Good internet access and netflix also a bonus.
Unfortunately the owners lively dog was a bit of a problem as she came and went from the house as she pleased. Our poor dog was afraid to go outside because of this and was on edge all the time we were there. We could not walk to the woods as we would have to pass by her house so had to drive the 1km there .

The lovely friendly welcome by Sean and the beautiful setting near Belleek Woods. So pet friendly, our Lucy loved meeting their dog Lily 🐕 Also very convenient for our touring of Mayo and Galway. Highly recommended and hope to go back 👌
Everything was perfect!

Perfect location. Close to Ballina Town, pubs, restaurants and shops. Really short walk to Belleek Castle and grounds and short drive to beaches.
The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds really comfortable and showers nice and powerful.
The host John was lovely and very knowledgeable asking what we wanted to do and suggesting places to go based on our replies.
There was nothing I didn't like!

Very friendly host- Great outdoor space for our dog with lovely forest walks on the door step.

House is much larger than it appears in photos. There's a large front garden for kids and the forest is only a few minutes walk. Kitchen is compact but absolutely fine for a family. Has a Nespresso machine which was a nice surprise. There is a separate living room off the main open plan dining room kitchen. Both of these spaces have a stove or open fire. Bedrooms had plenty of space and storage for our teens. House has wifi which is great with kids and teens. It's very close to Ballina town around 5 minutes in a car and there are a number of nice family friendly restaurants nearby.
No complaints everything was just fine.

The house is so lovely and comfortable. Slept 5 of us easily. The hosts are really lovely people. So quiet and relaxing. A great location.

Beautifully situated with loads of walks in lovely Belleek Forest right beside you. We went for tea in Belleek Castle which was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful which was just perfect. Johns dad was very friendly and offering help. It was a short car journey to Ross Strand where we spent most of our time. Bliss! :) The park in Ballina was also brilliant for toddlers! Lots to do!
There was very little we didn't like! However, TV didn't work. We only had Saorview even though satellite was advertised and the reception was terrible so we mostly couldn't watch tv in the evenings. They had a lovely big garden but their dog (very friendly) often left dog dirt on the lawn which was a bit of a pain when you have a 2 year old. We would definitely go back :)

Quiet and safe location within easy reach of the beautiful beaches of North Mayo and Sligo. Great garden for the dogs. Right at the edge of Belleek Woods so a a lovely pace for a walk in the evening. When restrictions are eased it would also be pleasant to walk to Jack Fenns restaurant in the evening as it is situated in the woods. Our hosts were very helpful and very informative.
We were so lucky to be there when the sun was shining. We were provided with garden chairs but no table. As restaurants were closed due to Covid a barbeque and a garden table would have been great as we would have enjoyed eating outdoors. However this is a small point and did not stop us have a great time at Teach Fia. We certainly hope to be back in the near future.

Peace and quiet and house very clean with everything we needed for visiting family in the area.
House was a bit cold when we arrived but after a few hours was lovely and warm when heating was on and we also used the stove which was lovely and toasty!

Teach fia was an unbelievable stay that exceeded our expectations. We were met by a very pleasant man who gave us the keys and a beautiful warm house that had the stove on along with fresh scones and everything you need for a cup of tea! The house was so comfortable with everything you need. The beds and pillows and covers were 100 percent comfortable and every nite I had an excellent sleep. The house was right beside belleek woods were we went for walks every morning. The house was 5 minutes drive from the nearest shop and the town of ballina. Everything was close by. The location was excellent! I loved the huge front garden and the views from the house was just trees and greenery. It was so quiet and peaceful! I would definitely come back here again. 100 percent recommend.
Everything was perfect. I didnt find any fault!
