Cozy & Private Studio Guesthouse near downtown
About this bed and breakfast
Studio guesthouse includes: a queen bed, a bathroom, a full kitchen, a patio, and an off-street parking space inside a fenced and gated property. It’s a stand alone building providing lots of privacy. Our neighborhood is one of the older ones in the city consisting mostly senior citizens who have lived in their homes for more at least 20 years in average. Most of the houses were built in the the early 1900s or even in the late 1800s. The neighborhood is in the process of being revamped where houses are being restored. Our guesthouse is less than 2 miles to downtown: the downtown RiverWalk, the Alamo, Tower of the Americas, Henry B. Gonzalez convention center, the river walk mall, and Alamodome. It takes 5-6 minute drive or 30 minute walking. There are also bus stops nearby. It’s walking distance to a couple of local breweries: Freetail, Blue Star) and Roosevelt Park: a public park with facilities, basketball courts, barbecue pits. We’re also a few blocks from the Hike and Bike-river trail connecting all the historic Spanish missions including the Alamo We’re downtown living. Expect some noise from traffic, train, early morning joggers, and neighborhood dogs. We provide EARPLUGS and SLEEP MASKS for our light sleeper guests. We allow pets for a fee. Make sure your pet is added to the booking and the fee will be calculated in the total payment. And please let us know that you’re bringing a pet as well. Truly enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage in Southtown. Perfect for a couples getaway and is close to everything downtown. Price was excellent and place was perfect for our mini-vacation. Highly recommend!

We as a family (2 dogs, 2 adults, and a cat) welcomed in this tiny home. It has every amenity we could have ever imagined. Conveniently located near downtown, grocery stores, trails for riding, running, or walking. We were beyond grateful they welcomed our cat. Would definitely recommend it and return soon!

Really enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage. It was perfect for the two of us and our senior fur baby. Location was great, clean house, very detailed on all amenities. Was able to chat with the owners, very nice and friendly people. Looking forward to going back again. Highly recommend this little gem of a place.

The casita is the perfect size and location for a couple enjoying all that Southtown and downtown San Antonio have to offer. Perfect walking distance to the River Walk where you can head towards the Missions or Downtown. The casita has everything you need, is very comfortable, and off off-street gated parking. We will definitely be coming back for more adventures.

We had a wonderful time visiting the friendly city of San Antonio. The small studio apartment was so quaint and just perfect for our visit. The host was so quick to respond to communication, even when we woke up ready to leave on our last morning and noticed we had a flat tire. They helped out with a stressful situation and and we were on our way. Thanks once again.

Fall asleep to the soft soft rroar of a nearby train wake up to the sound of birds. Close to a public pool near a brewery, less than Stroll to the river walk amazing architect close by, CASA Navarro nearby, mission nearby everything you could want to spend the day doing was close by. Clean neat, you’ll enjoy your stay. However we used a car because it’s was hot. Will come back in Oct.

Very cute property and seemingly secure. The neighborhood seems to be in the beginning stages of some getrification but not on a large scale yet. I wouldn’t walk around after dark here. We Ubered to and from the Riverwalk for $10 and under during our stay. Car stayed stay and secure behind a gate which we appreciated. Nice place, very clean, quiet and comfy.

I needed a place to stay while my mom is in the hospital at BAMC. I felt safe and comfortable. It’s the perfect little sanctuary to rest and rejuvenate before another long day at the hospital.

We had an awesome week, the place was adorable. Next trip we would not rent a car, it was too expensive and difficult to park so we used an Uber to the RiverWalk. We were comfortable and felt very welcome in our VRBO, highly recommend it.

Wee, but everything you needed—full kitchen, bed, couch, bathroom. A block from a good brewery-Freetail, a good Mexican breakfast place up the street on St. Mary’s, bike rentals less than a mile away, and a bus stop for bus 42 that was welcome after a day of walking around the city. The only thing missing was a grocery store.

So very clean, location was excellent, easy instructions/communication on check in. Owners were kind and available at anytime if needed! Snacks, waters, coffee -- all available to guests. I truly can not say enough great things about this location!!!!! <3

We loved the simplicity of the property! A hidden jewel with all details in place. Great location for San Antonio “must dos”. We would definitely recommend!

Ray’s place was great! Super close to a micro brewery. We used San Antonio’s BCycle app to get around. Aside from the trains (which truthfully didn’t bother us), we had an amazing stay! Comfy bed, really enjoyed the small patio space.

Just stayed the weekend here with my wife and two small dogs. It’s a charming little guest house that was perfect for us. Super close to the Mission Reach of the Riverwalk. Really really nice, I highly recommend.

We loved our stay. We brought our two dogs with us and it was so nice to have a private, gated yard for them! The house is as described. Plenty of extras in case you've forgotten something. Host was very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. We will be booking again the next time we are in San Antonio!

We spent our 4 day weekend in San Antonio at this property. Check in process was a breeze, and the accomodations were lovely. This location was a short drive from plenty of wonderful restsraunts, downtown (including The Alamo, The Pearl, the Riverwalk, etc), and easy access to the highway for further destinations. Would definitely recommend.

This was a cozy place to be. I actually canceled plans for one of my days to just hang out and relax. It has that kind of energy. It was an easy drive to all that I wanted to do. The place was clean. The host was available for communication. I would stay again and recommend to anyone I know visiting San Antonio.

Honeymoon
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon to San Antonio. While the house wasn't as close to downtown as we thought it would be, it was still awesome! It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The owner was nice and responsive when I needed to ask any questions. We would definitely recommend this property!

I loved this place. Ray was kind and even answered asap when it came to me having to reschedule my trip. I felt safer than ever because there is a gate with a padlock you lock up every night before turning in. Cute little spot. Will definitely be coming again. Sad to leave.

Cute, comfortable little studio cottage with very responsive hosts. Quick Uber to Alamo and Riverwalk. We appreciated the secure, private parking as we are traveling the country in our car.

Check in and Check out was seamless. Guesthouse was clean and orderly with all necessary items for stay provided. Ray was very easy to contact and was very helpful when a change in booking was needed. The only problem was property listed as close to downtown. This may be true if you had transportation arranged other than you legs. Way to far to walk to center of town and Riverwalk area, especially when weather is 94 F and heat index 106 F. The A.C. ran continually during the day trying to cool house. After arranging LYFT rides the stay was very pleasant. Again, if depending on walking for sightseeing you should find something closer to downtown around Riverwalk area.

San Antonio Great Small Studio
It was really cute and clean. It met all our needs. They were honest about the trains and being in the city with city noises. We slept fine. We needed to be close to convention center and this was perfect. Neighborhood was a little rough, but the way they have this set up you are secluded. We felt safe. If we need to go to San Antonio and be downtown again, we will stay here if it is available.

We Couldn’t Have Asked for Better
We adore this place! We used Uber to get downtown (about $7-8 one way), but walked to the brewery that’s at the other end of the street. The house had everything mentioned i. The listing and more. The host was easy to contact and responded to questions quickly. The gated car port made us feel extra secure parking our car. Thank you!
