Spitzenunterkunft für eine Reise nach Lecce

Sehr schöne hohe Räume, perfekt gelegen mitten im alten Ortskern, eigene Terrasse mit sehr viel Ruhe. Und am allerbesten sind die Gastgeber Francesca und ihr Mann Jose die beiden lassen keine Wünsche offen, sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Eigenes reichhaltiges Frühstück in historischer Umgebung, einfach alles perfekt👍👍👍

This place was so unique. Huge apartment, great location, fabulous hosts, and really interesting history. If you like unique accommodations and not sterile hotels-great choice!!!

Müzede uyanma ve kahvaltı

Malikanede konakladık. Tarihi eserler ve aile büyüklerinin resimleri altında kahvaltı etmek çok keyifliydi. Sahibi Francesca çok misafirperver ve yardımseverdi. Temizlik, konfor çok iyiydi. Kahvaltı çok çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Tekrar kalmaya geleceğim.

AMEI! O apartamento é um primor, uma preciosidade, uma experiência, uma riqueza! Apesar de muito antigo e cheio de história e relíquias ( tem um porta-retrato com uma foto de Maria Callas autografada), ele é limpíssimo, arejado, luminoso e muito cheiroso! Francesca é uma verdadeira anfitriã e prepara um café da manhã farto e repleto de delícias (destaco o croissant se desfazendo de tão fresco e saboroso).

Gorgeous big rooms, and a huge balcony. Sumptuous breakfast served by gracious helpful hosts. Located in the heart of the old city, yet accessible by taxi. Classy restaurant on the ground floor. We loved it.

My wife and I both loved it and Palazzo Sambiasi would be our first pick whenever we stay in Lecce.

Wow, this is such a fantastic property I don't know where to start. First the warm, welcome greeting by Francesca waiting in the street for our arrival. Some bowls of fresh fruit as a greeting. The large main room & bedroom with very high ceilings. The large patio overlooking restaurant below. The history of the property, many of Francesca's family & ancestors can be found in pictures on the walls. The breakfast was wonderful.... too much to consume. Great location... walking distance to all of historical Lecce. Francesca's utility kit with a 3-prong electrical adapter and other useful things that I can't remember. Lots of maps available to help you navigate.

Getting up/down the stairs with luggage was not the easiest but we're in our 70's. The staircases were wide and the steps nice & flat. Loved opening up the windows but there were a few bugs that intruded. The shower could use a non-slip mat. It slopes a bit for drainage and is slippery when wet. I almost had a fall.

A step back in time!

Beautiful, huge suite in a centuries old family palazzo. We were very warmly welcomed be Francesca, who seemed genuinely honoured to host us in her family home. But it was an honour for us to be there, stepping back in time to another era, in a building filled with history. This was more than a stay in an elegant suite; it was a once in a lifetime experience!

Probably the best place to stay in Lecce

The location is amazing. The owner is a wonderful and very helpful lady. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, a lot of space, very high ceilings, the furniture makes you feel like you're in a museum but very cozy at the same time. They bring you breakfast in your guest room, the breakfast is very good. The terrace with a lot of plants is very relaxing. Another very important feature - huge radiators, which is great if you are travelling during in any other season than summer. All in all - the best stay in my life so far.

Grand but a bit gloomy and breakfast disappointing

The house is a very grand place with very high ceilings and antique type furniture.There is a large terrace though I didn't find the suggested cathedral view very inspiring.View overall was nothing special.

There was a slightly gloomy feel to the whole place, including the shared entrance hallway and stairs. Breakfast was very disappointing with plastic wrapped croissants etc.Breakfast took an absolute age to be set out, not sure why as there was not a lot of fresh food on offer. The toilet was a conversion of a very small space and just ok.

A wonderful and authentic stay in a real palazzo!

This was truly a one of a kind stay and an opportunity to experience living in a palace! The owner was very gracious, accommodating and helpful and presented us with a lovely breakfast right there I. our very own dining room And we had a living room as well as a large private terrace.

The property was great even if we did have to park a bit away due to NO PARKING in the old part of Lecce. We have light luggage and didn’t mind the walk.

A beautiful, historic property in the heart of a Lecce. The hosts were very helpful and polite. The breakfasts were sublime! If you like mod cons like lifts, special mattresses and a spacious bathroom this place isn’t for you. But if you appreciate good food, peace, nature, beauty and history you will love it.

Heavenly palace

If we could we would rate this B&B 11/10. The hosts were friendly and attentive to anything we needed. Francesca booked us into a little restaurant the night we arrived and we had a super meal typical to the region. The room was palatial in size and grandeur with a private terrace. The breakfast each morning was substantial with plenty of choice and served at the dining table. It was a very unique experience and highly recommended.

Location excellent, well cared for, charming Italian palazzo.

It was a beautiful apartment. The rooms had great air conditioning! Breakfast was brought to us each morning at our requested time and and the owners set the table beautifully. The owners were helpful and kind. They accommodated all of our requests.

We were very unhappy to see that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom and the bathroom. AND the door to the second bedroom needs to have the hinges oiled as the door was extremely noisy. we could not close that door because if someone got up in the night and opened the door it would wake everyone. The balcony outside the main dining table was a mess, not usable, although the side balcony was for use. it would have been nice to walk out of the dining area onto the balcony. There were no dishes or utensils, so when we arrived home at night with food we had no plates to use. when we arrived, we wanted to have wine but there were no glasses. We had to ask for wine glasses, which the owner kindly brought to us immediately. The only trash can inside the apartment was in the bathroom. Lastly, be prepared to bring your own tissues, we used toilet paper to wipe our noises.

The perfect ending to our Italian holiday.

The B&B accommodation is truly beautiful. The high ceilings, outdoor area / terrace all present beautiful views. There is air con in the bedroom for comfort. The breakfast was beautifully presented each morning and when we requested some changes Franscesca was so accommodating and helpful to assist.

Nothing. The B&B is at a higher floor so if you have young children just be aware with luggage. However, again, Franscsca greeted us personally and we had help to bring items upstairs to truly feel welcome.

A stunning place to stay and enjoy the wonderful city of Lecce.

The very spacious accommodation is in a beautifully renovated Baroque palazzo with a wonderful roof terrace. Breakfast is simple but very good. The two bedrooms and huge amount of space make it well suited to families. It's also great value for money. Francesca was a wonderful host too.

You’ll feel like you’re a King or Queen

You really feel like a King or queen in this place. It’s the same as in the pictures, with a really big terrace, the bedrooms are huge. It’s a lovely place to stay, pretty quiet, you don’t hear any sounds. Francesca and her husband do everything to make you feel at home, if you text them, they react within a minute. Really good. My compliments for you, great work.

The mattress on the bed of the smaller room it’s pretty soft, maybe it would be an idea to change it. But this should not hold you, you should definitely stay at this place

Our week at Palazzo Sambiasi was wonderful and we can’t recommend it enough .

Francesca is the perfect host & Palazzo Sambiasi is even more beautiful than the photos . It’s perfectly located in the Centro Storica to explore Lecce . We also enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace and eating our delicious breakfasts in the grandeur of a historic , family home . Grazie Mille for a vacanza perfetto .
