About this cabin rental
Located only 25 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone Park, this is a great spot to be the base of all your fun. Newly built with the basics for your trip. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom are upstairs. The full bathroom and washer/dryer are downstairs on the main floor. WiFi with a smart TV mean you can stream your favorite movie/TV shows when not out exploring all the amazing scenery!
This loft has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and can sleep up to 10, however its mainly meant for a couple adults and children. The bedroom features 4 queen-size beds. There's also two twin beds off to the side of the living room so there's room for the whole group to sleep! Enjoy incredible views of Island Park scenery and watch the sunset over Sawtelle mountain.
There's a full kitchen with basic cooking utensils, along with a small dining space. The living area has a couple comfy couches and a smart TV. Downstairs is a washer and dryer set to make you feel right at home along with the bathroom. WiFi, towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, are included without extra fees.
The loft is located in a new area off the old highway, making it close to everything! Short driving distance (25 minutes) to the West entrance of Yellowstone, (5 minutes) to the golf course or gas station/grocery store. Also great access to trails for ATVs/snowmobiles located just off the old highway.
This is the upper floor of the building. The ground level is a shop where we store snowmobiles and the loft is the beautiful living area upstairs. This does not have a deck , hot tub or fire pit. (RV's and camper trailers not allowed)
One or two dogs are welcome. The pet fee is $20 per dog per night. And we require that they never get on the furniture or beds. Even good dogs can get anxious when left alone in a new place and that is when they damage things. So your dog must be in a crate if you leave him behind in the cabin. (We do not provide the crate.)
To keep the cabin beautiful, you are responsible to pay for any damage caused by your dog. Because the extra cleaning will interfere with the cabin being ready for guests later that day, if there is damage or dog hair on the beds or furniture, then the extra cost is a minimum of $100.
You'll have access to the loft including the washer/dryer, everything upstairs, the shared fire pit! However, the garage space below is for the owner's storage and is off limits. Occasionally, the owner may come by to grab something real quick out of the garage but it won't affect your stay. The fire pit is shared with the cabin next door on a first come first serve basis. Usually, there is some wood to burn near the fire pit. If not, you're responsible for getting fire wood at Robins Roost just a couple minutes away.
I won't be present during your stay but available for any questions or concerns. Please text or call to let me know and I'm happy to help.
Only 12 miles/25 minutes away from West entrance into Yellowstone National park and close to Henry's Fork on the Snake River. Also the cabin is within about 5 minutes away from a couple restaurants and a gas station/grocery store where you can get anything you may need or forgot. There are two other cabins nearby as well.
From December to March you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed, but its highly recommended to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A vehicle with ground clearance and 4WD or AWD is best.
There isn't any public transportation in the area so you'll need to have a car to get around. There 700+ miles of trails that you can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc on. We have ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles available for rent if you're looking for a different way to explore the area other than in a car.
We ask that you do a couple simple things when checking out like take your trash to dumpster outside, load and start dishwasher, wash towels and leave them drying, pull sheets off of beds that are slept in and leave them on beds. We do this to make sure the cleaning service has enough time to get the cabin ready for the next guests.
TAKE AN ADVENTURE ON THE 700+ MILES OF TRAILS FOR SNOWMOBILES, ATVS, AND UTVS RIGHT OUT YOUR BACK DOOR! WE HAVE SNOWMOBILES, ATVS, AND UTVS FOR RENT THAT WE CAN DELIVER AND PICK UP TO YOUR CABIN.

We had a great time! We stayed here for two nights and explored Yellowstone before driving through the park and down to Wyoming.
The beds were cozy, the fireplace with swings outside was a great place to relax and I loved the big open field next to us! It was a great place for the little kids to run around after a long road trip!
Wifi and Disney+ ❤️

This was just what we needed. Although it was a quick stop for us on a trip to Montana, the place was great and well stocked for what we needed. If we make the trip again, or can come back for longer, we would stay again.

We loved our stay! The unit was cozy but spacious enough as a home base between day trips for our group of 8 including 5 adults and a 6’4” teenager. The design makes smart use of the space. We cooked a few meals while there, and the kitchen had the essentials.
Great location for heading into Yellowstone or enjoying the sights in and around Island Park. Close enough to US 20 to easily get where you want to go, but removed enough that you don’t hear it.
The water was unexpectedly turned off at one point due to some work being done somewhere by the city, and the host replied to us immediately and offered to bring bottled water to help us in the meantime. Their responsiveness was as good as you could ask for in a situation not under their control.
Would stay again!

Very good place and convenient location

The place was easy to find. Host was easy to contact and promptly replied to all questions. It had everything we needed and we will definitely stay there again!

The property was convenient to West Yellowstone and the park. It was visually appealing but lacked basic essentials, could not open the flatware drawer because the oven door was in the way. Not enough wash cloths or dishwasher soap. On the last evening of our stay the water supply cut out completely.

Yellowstone Vacation
We stayed here while going to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Overall, this property was a good fit for us (2 adults & 3 kids). There is a lot to do in the area (you just have to go looking for it). We would recommend this property and the area.

They were great to work with. We stayed in a loft above a garage, I loved that it gave us a view of the area. Very beautiful.

We had a great time at this rental. It was very clean and easy to get into. The beds were comfortable, but if you can bring your own pillow (unless a flat pillow is what you like). Also, make sure to bring a bar of soap when you pack your toiletries. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great stay for all of us.

Property as listed, only better! Clean, comfortable, and everything we could have wanted.
So close to Yellowstone, but without the crowds, noise and expense. Owners was quick with text response and was amazing to work with.
To note, the bathroom is downstairs from the main living area, so if you have issues with stairs, be aware. This being said, the bathroom is great, and is very private.
Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Great location, newer build, open county, comfy and clean.
This unit did not have an Air conditioner, but a box fan was provided. The unit did have a home heating system.
We had issues getting T-mobile service and the wifi was down for our two-day stay but that lead to exploring the nearby river which the kids played in for hours. Overall it was a great stay.

I felt the property was as described. It was modern and appeared clean. Having the bathroom downstairs didn't bother us, though I can see how it would be a problem for someone less mobile. Kitchen was well-stocked and it was nice that there was bug spray and bear spray available. We didn't have any needs, so there was no communication with the host or managers during the stay. I therefore can't comment on their responsiveness..
A couple things of note: there is heat but no AC. This wasn't an issue for us, since it got cool at night, but might be a problem during hotter weather. Also, the listing mentions a hot tub. We were disappointed that the only hot tub was behind one of the other houses on the property - I think it was mistakenly added to the description of this property as well.
My two complaints: the pillows on each bed were small and completely flat. For the price we paid per night, it would be nice if the host could spring for decent pillows. A $5 Walmart pillow would have been a huge improvement.
We also didn't realize we'd have to walk through the garage to get into the apartment. This was fine, until my son mentioned seeing mouse traps in there with dead mice in them. I have an irrational but significant fear of mice, so from then on out, I was scared of running into one whenever I was on the main floor. While I appreciate that there were measures in place to control pests, it would be nice if they would check the traps and dispose of the dead mice before guests arrived. Similarly, there were a couple of dead bugs in the bathroom when we arrived, which should have been taken care of prior to our arrival.
Because of these issues, in addition to the fact that there were six of us sharing one bathroom, I probably wouldn't stay here again, but anyone less picky would probably find it to be sufficient.

I would probably stay here again, but with a smaller group. There are enough beds for 10 to sleep here, but really the rest of the cabin is set up for a much smaller group.
The good:
Very clean
Inside is nicely done and inviting
Everything we needed to cook for a family of 7
The dining area was nice, but we probably maxed out seating with our family of 7
The bad
Internet wasn't great and we couldn't stream anything on the TV
The couch was bad. So bad. Definitely meant for children or very short people. It was uncomfortable for me at 5'5" and my 6'2" husband couldn't really use it.
The seating in the "living room" was a loveseat and a recliner. So really only 3 people can watch TV comfortably.
Only one bathroom. It's definitely listed on the description, but we wouldn't stay in a place with only 1 bathroom and 7 people again. So if you are planning to fill up all 10 sleeping spots, bathroom time will be a problem.
The firepit outside is shared, but appears to sit more on the other cabin's property. So when the other group uses it, you don't feel like you can since it appears to "belong" to the other cabin.
Overall I would say that our stay was good. I would only use this property for a group smaller than 4 if it was me. If you need a place for a big group to sleep, and nothing else this is a great property at a great price.

The Grizzly Loft suited our family's needs perfectly. We had what we needed and communication with the staff was great! We would recommend this place to others for sure!

Perfect little get away!
We had a wonderful time, it was very clean and the perfect place to get away and relax.

This was an okay "cabin". It is actually a double car garage with an apt on top of it. There are 18 stairs to the top with the bathroom being at the bottom of the stairs..not very covenient. It was clean and kitchen had all we needed but it was very small, with only 2 windows on opposite ends . I would not consider this a cabin! On the high end of pricing for what we got.

Property is about 30 minutes from West Yellowstone. The property has three rentals next to each other so you are not totally alone.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice to have to cook our own meals. The kitchen was stocked with necessary pots/pans/utensils, etc. There was also a washer and dryer.
The only bathroom is on the entry floor and the bedrooms and living area are on the second floor. It was not convenient to walk up and down the stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. That could be just me because I have a difficult time going up and down steps. No dressers or hangers for clothes. Fortunately, we did not need the fourth bed for sleeping so it became the dresser. The views are beautiful in the morning and evening and it is very quiet.
Management was easy to contact and wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
