A beautiful boutique hotel with great rooms, very friendly staff and fantastic location!

The staff were fabulous and also ready to help, fabulous location, beautiful room, good view from the top floor and love that the rooms felt large and boutique.

Would be great to get streaming apps on the tv and a larger fridge for cheese or other snacks.

Very comfortable room, great location. We hope to stay again on our next visit to Hobart

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated to highlight the uniqueness of the historical building while being very comfortable. The location was excellent with many great restaurants and attractions within a 10 minute walk - if you’re visiting for Winter Feast it’s directly across the road, couldn’t be more convenient. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the housekeeping team do a great job

Parking is a block away from the hotel and an extra $20 a day, though this is understandable as the hotel is in a historic district and there isn’t an abundance of space for parking. Just worth factoring in your considerations

Relaxing stay

Love the ambience of the hotel and the staff was very helpful. The complimentary apples were delicious.

Understandably being a colonial style building the views were limited.

Exceptional accommodation

Beautifully designed from an old dockside warehouse , very well fitted out, everything you might need was provided. Would certainly recommend.

this is a lovely place to stay the location is perfect and the staff are excellent. the minibar is excellent and I loved

love the location and amenities.

the room was a little dusty and the bench tops looked unclean even though they were clean. they were very stained.

If you have only two days in Hobart this is a wonderful central place to stay. Above a very busy pub but it didn’t reall

Went beyond to make us happy

When we had a concern about the television not working the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were very grateful as we were able to have a room upgrade in order to resolve the problem.

Fabulous location right in the middle of Salamanca square. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us lots of great and we’re very helpful with parking.

Great location, all the standard expected but nothing special.

Location, decor and linen etc was fantastic.

More personalised service, appreciation and regard as guests. It isn’t the only hotel in Hobart, and we felt like they were doing us a favour rather than the other way around. It would be so easy to make this a five star establishment, hospitality is about being hospitable.

We stayed one night and enjoyed the Moss Hotel. Friendly staff and interesting place.

Liked the quirky interior with all the greenery on the walls. The location was good and you could come out of the hotel and walk to restaurants and bars.

Unfortunately parking was a block away, but well arranged by the staff.

There is very little staff presence and not a lot of interaction with the staff. The room was a little smaller than I expected but well appointed. It is a beautiful little hotel in an amazing character filled building. The location right on Salamanca market is excellent. However, there was quite a bit of noise from the pub downstairs on a Saturday night.

It was pretty good for a short stay. However, a little more hospitality on arrival and overall would be appreciated.

good stay at a nicely renovated hotel

the rooms are lovely and cosy, the position is perfect for a quick visit to Hobart

the light switches are very hard to locate and they are very necessary because the room is dark. because there is no one on staff at night this could become an issue. Make sure you locate all switches when you check in rather than late at night

cute beautiful hotel in a central location. But it is not value for money given the tiny room and lack of free parking.

our room was a studio (which was what we ordered) seem smaller in reality. And quite dark. To make it worse, an essential track light was not working. it was especially dark after sunset.

Lush & Great location.

Stunning room with rustic features and a feeling of luxury, amazing location and fairly priced all things considered.

There was limited lighting available in the main room which did make some things a little difficult.

Fabulous location

Lovely staff. Modern room, picture window to Sandstone wall. Pod coffee. Gorgeous bathroom. Layout of room. Plenty of storage. Easy to unpack and repack. Exceptional mini bar. Lovely hand soap etc. Proximity to everything!! Highly recommend

such a difference in price from first stay to second stay. lovely generous room on second stay on Gladstone st. first stay smaller room & noisier but more expensive.

Cute little boutique hotel, not easy to find but lovely once you do!

Perfect location, the rooms were as quiet as they could be considering the reno and drilling going on (might have been nice to know about that), didn't love where my room was, but once inside it, was lovely. Bed was king size, spacious and comfy, (a little on the soft side for me tho).
