Quiet and fresh air , beautiful night sky
Hahaha the shower head pressure reminded us of an Seinfeld episode. Very high pressure, maybe there was an adjustment switch but we did not find it.

Peaceful and beautiful grounds. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was comfortable. The hand soap was really nice and there were plenty of towels. We were there during the butterfly migration (October) and they loved the trees and flowers on the property. The housekeeper was especially friendly and helpful with local restaurants and attractions. Things to see were all very convenient. We went to the Briscoe/ Garner Museum and the First State Bank for the art. Both were great!
There were a few minor things that could be better. The back flower beds had lots of weeds and since we were watching butterfly’s, you couldn’t help but notice. Bathroom was very out of date with extra low counters, blue sink, toilet and tub, and grout on the floor and tub that needed to be professionally steam cleaned. There was a note not to sleep on the decorative pillows, but only one pillow was provided per person, which most places provide two. One side of the bed didn’t have a reading light. There wasn’t a coffee service for guests and we were told breakfast and coffee were served between 8:30 and 8:40. This is a pretty short window of service!! There was not a decaf option and with everyone having some type of Keurig these days, seems like having a coffee service with different types of coffee would be an easy addition. Last, several weeks before our stay, I was sent information in the facility with a link to contact them directly. I responded and specifically asked about coffee service since this is a home setting and I am an early riser. I received this same link multiple times over the week before our visit which was annoying, but never got a response to my questions about coffee and other services that were potentially available. This could be entirely the fault of the website and not the owners, so certainly am not including this in my overall review.

This place was great! However, when I booked through Booking.com, I was mislead to think I was getting a 2 bedroom. In fact we had a pull out double bed in the kitchen/living area. Luckily one of my kids cancelled last minute so it was left so my 15 yo daughter had her own room.

Wonderful property. Very clean and the AC worked great in these hot summer months. Unit was well equipped. Pool was great. Had opportunity to chat with the owners for a bit, great people. All in all a wonderful visit and we'll definitely be back!
I wouldn't change anything. We loved it there and can't wait to go back!

One of the breakfasts was a voucher for a restaurant in the town. We ended up trying them both and loved the experience and the food!
The instructions were really long and a bit unclear about the included breakfast. Something about arranging it by 4 pm the previous day. We didn’t realize that part didn’t apply to us as we’d prepaid, so missed the breakfast we had already paid for.

Great value, very clean, surprisingly spacious. Photos don't do it justice. Lots of privacy.
Need silverware in unit.

everything was great

The entire facility was a beautiful estate. The "Lodge" I stayed in was lovely.
The bed did not have a table close by, as I remember it. When the room light is turned off at night, the room is dark. So, the flashlight I had remained beside me in the bed.
The bathroom did not seem to have an obvious location to hang a used towel to dry, without disturbing the unused towels.
Minor, personal desires. I adapted easily and enjoyed my stay.

The setting was spectacular. April went out of her way to provide superior service. We had trouble connecting due to phone service issues. April went the extra mile and made us a wonderful breakfast.
The was no suitcase rack. And no kleenex. Minor issues but suitcase racks would really help.

Breakfast was delicious
Hostess was wonderful
I think the shag carpet needs to be upgraded, removed or steamed cleaned really, really well. My spouse would wake up having a hard time breathing and would cough so hard, he would vomit. Thought it was a fluke because he seemed OK during the day. Came back for the second evening and it happened again. P.S. there were bug and cockroach corpses on top stairs, bedroom and bathroom corners.

Unfortunately, we did not get to partake in breakfast due to schedule. Breakfast smelled like it was going to be delicious. Nice comfy bed, at home feeling and decor.
