Recommend!

It was very clean, my room seemed newly remodeled, and very spacious! I loved the kitchenette. Perfect for a 4 day work stay.

The issues I had were minor: the key kept not working, the top blanket was very thin, and the air conditioner was a bit loud but none of these things were enough of an issue to impact my stay.

Ac not working well

Clean rooms, spacious

The only thing was the ac didn't seem to blow cold air. When we came to check in, the front desk said they would have the ac on. Checked back in at a later time, no ac was on tv did not work. Switched rooms ac still wasn't blowing cold air. Front desk gave us a fan that helped. After being outside all day it would have been nice to relax and cool down in a cold room.

Overpriced.

Location?

Not a good value. The room wasn’t clean. One of the beds had stains on the sheets. The bath towels had stains on them. You only get a bar of soap (no shampoo).

Exceptional

Front desk clerk was amazing in helping with a situation. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Will definitely return when back in Uvalde.

Scary

The staff was very friendly and tried their best to make our stay nice.

The room smelled horribly of bleach, yet the area where the bathtub and shower joined was full of mold. The price of the room was not inexpensive at all. It was in the range we had paid across the country for Best Western hotels. However, I would have still been disappointed if the room charge would have been discounted by 75%. The yard beside the hotel was FULL of dog poop. I took my dog there to do her business and it was too gross to even let a dog poop there.

The room I was originally given smelt like dog and I went in to brush my teeth at the sink and it was clogged up with small black hairs just nasty didn't even appear to be cleaned never again!

Horrible filthy sleepless stay!!!

Do not stay here please. It is so filthy. Bathtubs are disgusting, the rooms you book non smoke will smell like smoke or other substance. The pillows are extremely filthy and the sheets have stains. These Beds have horrible Springs. One of the beds has a spring out becareful!!! Towels had to be returned to get more. They were not even as clean as they should be. Its just plain nasty. Don't book it. We didnt sleep well. You can complain all you want to the front office and change room's but it's not up to them. She called her boss and she just told her to spray a smoke smell eliminator in our room and we already had changed from 2 previous rooms. They wont move you anymore because all the non smoking are booked and most of the non smoking smell so bad. Even if they have the sign on the door. 🚭 all the towels and sheets curtains including AC units are all penetrated. I do not recommend you to take babies in there Or kids. People who have respiratory problems should never have to experience this. Also the laminated floors move. Your socks will get so filthy in these rooms. Wear sandals at all times. Doors are not as easy to open the sensors are so bad.

The hotel was nice, I did not like being overcharged. I would have stayed at Best Western...

Didn't have breakfast, I didn't even know there was coffee...

Booking.com charged me $185 on August 3, for 2 rooms, a king and a double. When I arrived on August 6, I was told that there were two king rooms, and that I had only been charged for one room. So, I was charged for another $85. I ended up paying for over $250.00 and I am not at all happy about it. I am not using this site ever again. Especially if I don't get my money back. The hotel was nice, but we were also put on the 2nd floor when I had asked for handicap access. What's the use in asking a question when the needs will not be met? My son in law is a double amputee and he needed to be on the first floor. I have a bad knee and I too needed to be on the first floor. Again, I will never use this site again.

Very dirty room, pillow cases, towels were dirty, toilet broken, no WiFi, could not find staff in one occasion, and very expensive for what we received, we had to cut short our stay due to all of these.

Disappointing

Very nice staff. They try to help you sort out the problems you’ll find. Next to everything by car. Big room.

Although they clean it, looks a bit dirty. The shower didn’t work at all. I heard at least two other clients with the same problem. Needs renovation urgently. overpriced
