About this house rental
This Open Concept 4 bedroom home is the perfect Narragansett Getaway!
This Sand Hill Cove home has everything you might want from a beach rental - enclosed outdoor shower, ceiling fans throughout, smart TV's (2), and a fabulous location, just a short stroll to Roger Wheeler State Beach in under 10 minutes. There are ample amenities for your group to enjoy; two living rooms, updated living room furniture, and a well stocked kitchen. Three bedrooms sit upstairs, and one on the garden level.
Narragansett is a beautiful town that has something for everyone. With many beaches to choose from--Scarborough Beach, Narragansett Town Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach, and Salty Brine State Beach, all are just a short drive away. Narragansett is close to the Block Island Ferry, which makes for a lovely day trip. Grab lobsters off the boat in Galilee! Take a ride to Providence, Newport, Westerly, Mohegan Sun Casino or Foxwoods Casino.
A new kitchen with island and granite counter tops and two fully renovated bathrooms were added in the Summer of 2024! The home is certain to impress, and allow you to vacation in style!
**Bed sheets, bath towel sets, hand towels, kitchen towels, and bathmats will arrive in a big linen bag at your doorstep. The items are packaged in plastic to ensure that each renter is given a fresh set for their stay. This will mean making the beds, as I like to make sure that is understood as part of our efforts to put our renters' minds at ease regarding the cleanliness of the linens. Starter supplies are provided with each rental. Starter sets include at least: one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one dishwasher pod, one laundry pod, three trash bags, a new sponge, and small bars of hand soap in each bathroom. Guests will need to bring anything they'll need beyond those starter supplies.

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. So close to the beach, food, and ice cream. A beautifully updated home, super comfy and airy.

The Positives:
Proximity to Roger Wheeler beach, the high deck, the outdoor shower, big grass yard, plenty of beds.
The Negatives:
The pictures in the ad are from years ago and the house is not in that condition anymore, doesn't have a picnic table or swing anymore. The furniture and cabinets are very beat up: missing/misaligned cabinet doors, broken table, table and chairs covered in very sticky residue, couch is torn and springs shot, all the exterior door latches are broken, flaky light switches and dead outlets, outdoor shower door was ripped off, basement was obviously flooded at one time and never fully repaired. I communicated this to the property manager including sending pictures and got no response at all. Check-in process would have been better if we could have used lock box instead of having to drive up to Narraganset Properties office.

Great family house
We had a great week with our family at this house. Most days we walked to Roger Wheeler State Beach, and there are restaurants well within walking distance. The house itself is perfect for a multi-family stay. Our only concern was the staircase is very wide and did not fit a baby gate for our toddler, but other than that everything was great. The yard is a good size and The outdoor shower was amazing.
