There was a large space to hang out inside. The kitchen was set up nicely to allow us to cook breakfast every day which is good because restaurants on St. John can be expensive. The view from the balcony was awesome. The water is only 50 feet away and in full view from the room. There are an endless number of great snorkeling places and beaches 20 minute drive to an hour away. None were overcrowded and most were free. Walking distance to the downtown area for drinks and food. There is a beach downtown too.
The light over the kitchen table didn't work. The kitchen faucet worked but the sprayer hangs down and needs replacement. Rocks by the shore are probably dangerous to walk on so snorkeling from there is not a good choice. There is no beach directly by the rental.

No dishwasher - no AC in kitchen and living room.

What a wonderful location for a ladies 50th birthday trip. The room was perfect for 3 or even 4 (sharing beds). The balcony overlooked a beautiful bay and we got to wave to the boats going by. The pool was perfect to dip in after a day at the beach. The walk to town was easy and if you take a ride back in the evening just be sure to ask how much before jumping in :-)
When I return to St John. I'll be returning here.
The place was off the beaten path - which is what I loved about it!

Everything was very clean and neat. It was very quiet and relaxing. Everyone from the staff to the guests were so very nice. It’s in a good location close to downtown Cruz Bay. We felt very safe there also

Close to ocean. Access to towels to take to snorkel trips.
Property was in need of repairs. No hand rails to beach that led to fall. Pool is a lot smaller than the photos. Very nice guide book but was a bit out dated

Great location close to Cruz Bay. Beautiful view. Nice and quiet. Small pool and rocky beach. Great mini bar and snacks available. Free use of beach towels and beach chairs. Very affordable for a two bed, two bath condo.
We liked everything! If I had to say one thing that could use improvement, it would be that there were not a lot of extra items available in the kitchen (i.e., salt & pepper, tupperware plastic containers, ziploc baggies, etc.) but we made do just fine. There is a little grocery store nearby, granted it is pricey.

Close enough to walk into Cruz Bay but far enough to be very quiet & relaxing. Lovely to be able to grill out with the community grill. The loan of beach chairs, cooler and beach towels a huge help. Sat poolside each late afternoon to chill after a day at the beach.
The only thing that was unexpected and a slight downer was how close the car ferry route was. After the first day we didn't even notice.

Location on the water with terrace overlooking the bay
A little hard to roll bags from the ferry, but easily walkable once you are checked in, especially on the back route

Perfect location for exploring St. John. Very quiet with a gorgeous view. We easily walked to town and used our rental car to drive to the National park beaches. Great friendly staff, they accommodated an early check in and even let guests do laundry.
Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable option.

Wonderful views and comfortable beds. Great shower! I love having beach towels, chairs , coolers available. Nice little stocked fridge for buying drinks is great. Loved the pool area.
There was noise our very last morning as a new family with young children moved in. The walls don’t muffle the sounds.

We were greeted by our friendly host Julie straight after we arrived at the location. The room was just like in the pictures or even better. It was great to have a balcony with a beautiful beach- and seaview. The room had a high ceiling which made it feel bigger. We cooked our meals so we appreciated the kitchen with all of its pots and pans. It was s nice touch to have washing liquid, a kitchen towel and a kitchen paper roll. The bathroom had enough storage for towels and beauty bags. AC was efficient, the bed was comfy and everything was nice and tidy. The apartment was located only a 5-minute walk away from Cruz Bay. This was our first stay on St John so did not understand to book a Jeep well in time but next time we will be better advised. Luckily the supermarkets were in walking distance and taxis were easy to get when heading for the beach. Trunk Bay was our favourite. As a whole St John was a pleasant surprise.
Mosquitos! They were everywhere ready to sting in s second. We are still itching everywhere. Bring a lot of mosquito repellent and antihistamine if you don’t want to suffer. This is probably the case on the whole island as it is national park with lots of greenery.

Very clean which made for a great first impression. Beautiful view and nice watching the ferries pass, especially all lit up at night. Loved falling asleep to the sound of waves rolling over the pebble beach. Very informative binder in room. Outdoor shower and hose w great water pressure for rinsing off from a day at the beach. Lots of amenities: complimentary use of beach chairs, cooler, pool noodles, etc. snorkel rentals. Honor system snacks and alcoholic beverages. Housekeeping was friendly when we met in passing. Five or ten minute walk into town. Small but refreshing pool. Beautiful setting and loved spending time on the balcony.
Poor communication w hosts. Difficult navigating arrival based on website directions. Lots of roadwork and road closures. With unmarked roads and no gps service, it made for a stressful experience getting there within three 3-5 o’clock check in time. Called office during check in for help w directions and left message. We arrived at 4:45 and hostess was not welcoming. She seemed put off and said we should have called. I explained I had left message at Coconut Coast Villas. She said she hadn’t checked messages. She did not apologize for our inconvenience but rushed us through check in. I would highly recommend greeting visitors near the ferry, especially during this time of roadwork shutting different roads down on a daily basis. It would be a five minute escort that would have saved us almost 90 minutes of driving in circles. We were not the only ones who were lost.
Office hours are limited which I understand, however 50% of the time we stopped in, no one was there. About 50% of texts went unanswered. I had heard how friendly Julie and Dave were and looked forward to that being part of our island experience. We did not feel welcome however housekeeping did smile at us and they were nice.
Low water pressure in bathroom and water was lukewarm. Looked forward to a soak in the hot tub at the end of the day but it had an inch of water and dead leaves floating in it.
Love the honor bar system but we’re not drinkers. Would be nice to have bottled water.

The staff was very friendly upon arrival! From the beginning they wanted to know our Ferry Arrival time. Upon arrival, (which was later than expected), we were greeted by a kinda woman. she explained to us the walking routes to down town, taxi service etch. She took us on a small waking tour of the front of property. showed us the laundry room which the washer was broke (they had it fixed the second day we were there). Hot tub was broke. said it was too hot anyways. lol The pebble beach is actual big Boulder rocks along the bay with mixed sized rocks. Right beside a substation. No smoke detector in the room. and I had a friend in the bathroom with me. the bed was comfy. nice view beyond the rock beach.
cockroach’s, broke hot tub, misleading pics of the “pebble” beach. no smoke detector in the room, our room door had missing pieces of glass slats in the door,

Beautiful boutique hotel/condo property surrounded by nature
There is absolutely no food on site beyond snacks. There is also no maid service or anyone to assist with carrying your bags, which is fine except we were on the top floor and I’m disabled.
