Thank you for your emails promptly sent so we could get in to the apartments.

Lovely compact room. Very well equipped for self-catering for 2 people.

No aircon but guess reflected in the price. We did have a fan which was a life saver. Could have had a small safe to lock away items.

Un appartement sympa pour un séjour à Lyon !

L'appartement est conforme à la description et aux photos. Les explications pour récupérer les clés étaient claires et précises. L'appartement est bien situé (proche métro, monoprix, restaurants, etc.) et dispose de plusieurs équipements : fer à repasser, sèche cheveux, télé, wifi, etc. Manon prend de vos nouvelles tout au long du séjour pour savoir si tout se passe bien :)

Un peu de bruit mais c'est normal nous sommes en ville !

It was difficult to get in and took a long time.

I didn’t get the the key code. I emailed the host and didn’t get a reply so I called the backup number. The code they gave me didn’t work so I called the backup number again and finally got the right code.

Secure and clean apartment building.

Very small apartment by Lyon standards. Be aware that it is on the second floor with no lift. There was no toilet paper in the apartment upon arrival, which was later delivered when requested. Bedlinen had odour of cigarette smoke even though there were frequent notices that the premises were non-smoking. Bare minimum provided (e.g. only 2 coffee pods).

They forgot to clean the apartment

The location was very good. Well communicated with metro and tram. There were supermarkets nearby. The shower was very big and comfortable.

The fact that the check in is so uptight. When I got there having to wait for almost two hours until it was 4pm, I realized that they forgot to clean the apartment because I saw all the towels on the floor and the lights on the bedside table were super dusty. I contacted the owners and they apologized and sent the cleaning service right away, so I had to wait some more for them to finish cleaning the apartment, which was another inconvenience for me again. In the end, they cleaned it but I wouldn't say it was very clean because I could see the same dust on the lamps and of course, they had to do it really quickly. The rest of the trip was good with no more complications.

Location. Warm

Small apartment in poor condition. All dishes and cutlery are dirty, with food residue and plaque. The door to the bathroom is broken. Torn curtains. Very poor sound insulation, if a car passes outside the window, then the noise is as if there is no window, a large gap under the front door. Noisy refrigerator. Sometimes the smell of sewage blows out, the source is not clear. There is only shower gel in the bathroom, no soap and shampoo. The bathroom towels are dark and only 2 pcs for 2 people. There is no glass or place for toothbrushes. The sink is dirty with rust stains.

Clear communication and easy to find. Owners quick to respond.

Not suitable for those with lots of luggage as you need to climb 2 flights of stairs. A bit dusty in some places so cleaning needs improving. Says toiletries are provided but there was only probably 2 drops of shower gel for a 3 night stay, no shampoo or others available, luckily I brought my own. Also ran out of hot water mid-shower one night… not the best time to have a cold shower in January. Would help if check in could be earlier or have space for luggage storage, and a later check out time. Was told there was free luggage storage at nearby train stations, but there wasn’t, so I had to get to the main train station again (after coming from there) and paid for luggage storage instead. Wasted 1hr getting from the station and going there again.

Great appartment for exploring Lyon

Lyon is a wonderfull city with many neighbourhoods to visit. The appartment is close to a Metro station, with which you can explore every corner of the city. The bed and shower are great and the appartment is clean and cosy!

POOR HOST, VERY LATE CHECK-IN, VERY EARLY CHECKOUT, NO BAG DROP OPTION - SAVE YOURSELF ALL!!!

- When you enter the building, you are entertained by plenty of bins in a narrow hallway - Calling it a superior apartment is a joke, at best it's a small studio - The host is horrible with communication and is EXTREMELY INFLEXIBLE (even misled us about the locker cost in Lyon Part dieu): the check in is AT OR AFTER 4PM but the checkout is strictly BEFORE 10am with no option to accommodate the bags on either of the days - The location is extremely poor as there is nothing to visit by walk - We went during heatwave period and the room was BURNING HOT WITH NO AC. Opening the windows brought in TOO MUCH NOISE for one to fall asleep - The shower had bits of black mold on the side, the bin in the kitchen doesn't have a cupboard covering it

Nice place to stay if the issues with the unpleasant smell inside, bathroom, etc. are solved.

The room is nice, bright, and not overwhelmed with different unnecessary things. It is pretty easy to find parking not far away from the apartment.

Unfortunately, the apartment is not very clean. There is a strong unpleasant smell inside. We kept windows open all the time, but it did not help. The smell stayed there all the time. Besides, there are some issues with the bathroom: 1) bathroom door can not be closed properly; 2) shower cabin door can not be closed properly; 3) you should always be careful when using the water in the shower as the sewage system is not working properly, and there is a risk of having the bathroom under the water. The other strange thing is that the guests are told to get the trash from the trash bin when leaving the place. I believe the guests should not spend their time looking for garbage canіs if they pay for their stay.

Lovely - but communications weren't good.

I would have rated this property as excellent, but once communications go 'off piste' there can be problems. I would urge the owners to read communications more carefully. I'm not sure they realise they caused quite a lot of stress. Telling us we were in Emeraude on 3rd floor for second day led to further issues, as we were already on 3rd floor and I didn't notice that the room name was different - so we went off for the day and received a panic phone call to return and change rooms. Typo on their part, misread on my part - but not sure the owners realised why we'd left everything in first room.

Issues: c. month prior to stay 13/6, asked to extend visit by a day. Despite three requests via Booking.com received no answer. So, made a separate booking for14th. On 13th, owners kept sending details for14th. Spent a fraught train journey on dodgy wi-fi from Florence to Lyon emphasising I needed key code for that day. Only received code 2 hrs before arriving (and after almost booking another place). For 14th Cocons said we'd be in Emeraude on 3rd floor. We were already on 3rd floor so went off for the day, but Emeraude on 2nd floor. Panic call whilst visiting Vieux Lyon to return and change rooms.

Very good

Clean and cozy room, good WiFi and hot shower. Very convenient to get to the centre of Lyon. Good for a short city break!

It’s a bit cramped for space.. somewhat expected from city apartments but the pictures make it look slightly larger than it is.
