Very friendly hosts that did their best to make the stay memorable, including early check-in and late check-out. I highly recommend for a low-key relaxing holiday.
Only because you ask : the safe is tiny so a bit impractical for anything bigger than a phone. But not a deal breaker!

My husband and I stayed in Casa Bela Moura for four days on our Algave Holiday and really loved the place. A very nice little hotel, everything is perfect here. The location near the beautiful beaches of Algarve , the pool, the garden, and our suite was very nice and clean. We loved the fantastic breakfast, which was not the same everyday & the wine in the bar in the evenings. Parking was fine.
The service was really great, there’s a good and familiar atmosphere, everything was fine, we will for sure come again.
There’s nothing we didn’t like .

Very clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Great pool.

We purposefully chose a smaller hotel so that we would feel welcome and the team at Casa Bela Moura really do exactly this. All of the staff were helpful and happy and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to you - if it attention to detail and warmth of service that you are looking for.
No issues at all

Breakfast was good - location is fair. Pool was highlight of our stay.
Room and terrace were smaller than expected. It was very loud in the morning once breakfast started as we were very close to the kitchen. Room had little natural light with one small window. Terrace was fairly small and we couldn't really use it due to our neighbors smoking on their terrace, which also made our room smell like smoke if we kept our door open for fresh air. Wifi did not work in our room, which is a bit troublesome for international travel.

Wonderful stay here with my sister last month. All the employees of the hotel seem so genuinely happy and positive - clearly they love their jobs.
Breakfasts are very special :)

Very nice little place, family managed, which makes it cosy.
The owner Christophe and Sophie are very helpful and kind. The staff is just amazing

We liked everything! Christophe and his staff were warm and so helpful. The location for us was perfect as it wasn’t right in the middle of a highly touristy beach town but the closest beaches were easily walkable and beautiful.
The breakfasts were awesome and we did our best not to miss the tea and cake served in the late afternoon ! And the wine bar was excellent- just for guests so it was really intimate and a great way to meet other guests. In short, Christophe, Sophie and staff provided an experience we will not soon forget!!
We honestly have no negative comments

My friend and I just returned from a 4 day stay at this beautiful and comfortable property. We had wanted to visit this area because of its location and proximity to the amazing birding. I hoped to find Fischer's Lovebirds and when we pulled into the driveway we saw one in a tree right in front of our room!
The room was well stocked with everything to make for a great stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, there was a small refrigerator in addition to the mini-refrigerator which was stocked with refreshments for a small fee. There is a large grocery store very close by. We had a varied and delicious breakfast every day which was included in the price. Every afternoon between 4 and 5:30 they served home made cake with coffee and tea. Christophe, one of the owners, provided many useful tips for dining in the area as well as the best entry points to get to the beautiful beaches nearby. He also made great suggestions about where to find more Lovebirds. We also saw gorgeous Glossy Ibis and the arrival of the Bee-eaters.
The rooms and main house were in great condition and very modern. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Obirgado Christophe, Vera, Paula, and the other staff for making us feel at home. The area is also very walkable.
we liked everything about it.

Petanque game
We were quite disappointed with this place. Mostly because they set high expectations in their marketing and pricing, but don't deliver. A few examples:
- Pool heated to 28 degrees. It's not. I built pools for a living for a time, and it's a lot colder than that. Far too cold for comfort.
- 30 degree jacuzzi - not even close
- 268 Square foot room - the room was very small with nowhere for luggage. The only way this could be true is if the balcony on the side was included.
- Table tennis - no, they have a table that is about 70 centimeters long that they can setup on request for you with a net to play "mini" table tennis. It is as absurd as it sounds (see pic)
- Breakfast until 10:30 - no, it stops at 10:00
- Breakfast included - yes, but coffee aside from filter coffee will be charged
The 4-star hotel claim is also dubious. I've never come across a 4-star hotel with:
- no phone in the room. To speak to reception you need to walk downstairs to the other end of the property and hope someone is around.
- a reception that closes at 6pm
- no restaurant
- no assistance with bags
The staff were friendly, but not helpful. At no point did anyone ask us if everything was okay with our stay or if we had any issues. Any issues we did raise were met with a "there's nothing we can do" attitude.
Our room had a balcony looking over the car park and a vacant lot with quite a lot of scrap metal etc. Not what we were expecting from the website images.
Drinks are overpriced given there is no service at all. Collect your drinks yourself from the bar and don't expect so much as a napkin with it.
All in all, we had an average stay, and if it were marketed as a B&B and at sub EUR100 price point, I'd rate it okay, but as it is, it's at 5.
We stayed at many other similar places in the Algarve during out trip, and all had better location, better service, better facilities, and a lower price.

Staff was always very nice and helpful. The hotel is very cosy, with an heated swimming pool and pleasant and quiet surroundings despite being located close to more crowded spots. Very nice spot for families
Nothing in particular.

The breakfast varied throughout the week and Christophe made a great effort to prepare something fresh in the kitchen. The location is relatively close to the local supermarket, a gas station, and several good restaurants in the area. Due to its slightly remote location, one was safe from the noise in the nearby hotels. The owner's approach is very customer-focused and personal. Had some very informative discussions. Felt almost like a private villa.
Would have prefered a double bed, but with a few tweaks the two single beds were joined together. Should have made it more explicit when booking.

Hotel has a boutique, welcoming feel. Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Provided takeaway breakfast for early check-out. Conscientious owner. Loved the wine tasting.

Christophe and his team have created a mini-marvel - an oasis in the Algarve where no little indulgence is too small.
Maximising the benefits of a small - and utterly charming - hotel, the team strive to always go the extra mile. Every guest is made to feel special and welcome. The rooms are lovely, the pool divine, and then there are those extra little tit-bits: the rotating choice of tasty breakfasts, the cakes at tea-time, the selection of locally sourced wines (at locals’ prices).
The hotel’s numerous loyal returning guests are a testament to the joys of staying here. Thanks to all at Casa Bella Moura for a perfect mini-break.
