The home was amazing and the children loved the indoor slide, basketball court and trampoline. Would recommend it for family reunions. The view was also wonderful.

I've stayed in this house twice now and it is the perfect Bear Lake vacation home for large families. The kitchen was clean, fully stocked, and easy to prepare meals. There was plenty of space for dining and you can't beat the view while your eating!! We love the theater room and the indoor trampoline, basketball court, and playground. It makes it worry free and safe for small children to play. The adults and teens also loved playing basketball. The beds were comfortable. The temperature was tricky to control, but each time we messaged the house owner, she was quick to respond and addressed our needs. I can't imagine staying in a Bear Lake anywhere else.

The house was big enough for the 37 people in our family. We loved watching the fireworks from the deck on the 4th. The view is fantastic. The little ones loved the slides.

We had a fantastic time. Plenty of space for the kids to run and play while adults had space for quiet enjoyment of the view. Great place!

We had a wonderful family reunion thanks to this great big house. The favorite room was for sure the big play room where the kids could go and have a ball! Definitely recommend this house.

The Big House was a great place to stay for our family reunion. There was plenty of space for playing games and sitting around talking. Comfortable furniture. Close to the water. The host responded to my questions in a timely manner and adjusting the heating as needed.

We just returned from 4 nights in this house with 17 adults and 8 children.
THE GOOD:
The house was fantastic for fitting all of us.
They supplied each bathroom with toilet paper, plenty of towels, and shampoo/conditioner. The kitchen is stocked well, and has a cupboard with many spices. The basement rec room is unbelievably fun for adults and children. We found our selves playing 4 and 6 square the most, and it was extremely competitive. The closest store has anything needed and is close by, or you can stop in Logan on your way if you fly into SLC and go to Walmart or Costco. The beach is exactly 1 mile away, and walkable.
THE BAD:
This house was filthy dirty. 5 of the 6 bathrooms had dirty toilets, and if I could post pictures on here, you wouldn't think I'm picky, they were filthy. We actually had to clean the bathrooms when we got there. There was food and trash underneath multiple beds and couches, hair everywhere, and a tampon under the master bedroom bed. My son, stuck his hand in between the couch cushions and cut his finger on a crinkled up beer can in the couch and was bleeding badly.
There were multiple electrical issues with the theater room, the TV's and then the stoves. Even though they came to fix them, it's still an issue having to call someone every day about something. Please be advised that only a couple bedrooms have tv's.
A fun stay, but a new cleaning company is needed and we should be refunded any cleaning fee that was paid.

The Big House was very comfortable for our large extended family vacation. The house was clean and well stocked. The play room was great for all ages. Donna was available and helpful with clarifications about the amenities and local activities like a nearby sledding hill- “the sink”. We had a little trouble getting checked in as the door code was not sent before our arrival. Once we realized we could contact Donna by cell phone under “contact the host” link, we got right in. The rest of the trip was flawless.

We loved this property. It was perfect for the ages of my grandchildren. We rented in the winter so the indoor amenities were great. Would have liked it a little cleaner but overall great.

This house was amazing for our purpose. Several of the group discussed bringing their family back for a family reunion. Great Family meeting rooms, and amazing recreational rooms too.

The Big House at Bear Lake (Gardne City, Utah) is the perfect venue for a family get away. My wife and I and our five adult children, their spouse and children (22 people in all) stayed for three days and nights. The was ample room (9 bedrooms, recreaction areas, huge kitchen and dining area, etc.) for all of us and amazing amenities, including an indoor basketball court with swings, putting green and sunken trampoline. Also a pool table and a ping pong table, numerous TVs and a home theatre with suround sound and large screen. We used all of these features together with the water craft supplied by the property owners. The garage is cavernous, to say the least. We enthusiastically give this a five star rating. We are definitely planning to return for our next family reunion.

The best thing about this house is there is something for everyone. My grandkids loved the indoor slides and playground. The adults enjoyed playing ping pong, pool, and card games. There is plenty of space for cooking and crafting. The view of Bear Lake from the deck is stunning and it only took 15 minutes to drive to Rendezvous Beach. There are pickleball courts and a park close by which we took advantage of. It was wonderful to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms so each family could have their own private space. We had so much fun we wish we could have stayed a week!

The big house was a dream come true for our little kids. The trampoline, slides, swings and sports court kept them thoroughly entertained. There was room for our large family with the additional matresses provided. It wasn't as clean as we would have liked it, especially the toilets around the floor. We had to clean some of them ourselves. And there was a lot of dust on surfaces. But overall we had a great time and it was a great house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Plenty of room for all of us, plenty for us to do and a very responsive host. We hope to come back sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at the Big House. 25 of us from 3 months to 66 years. The first day was cloudy and rainy but the house had plenty of play options for everyone. Families could spread out and relax. There were beautiful views from the decks. The slides inside and out were a hit. The kitchen was spacious. There were a couple of cleaning areas but it’s a new cleaning crew. I’m sure it will be better as they are instructed.
We were happy to have chosen this place!

This house was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of space, large kitchen, tables, bedrooms, bathrooms and play areas. The kids loved the indoor slides and indoor playground. The kitchen was very well stocked which made it easier to prep meals for a large group. The house is close for our outings to the Lake, go-karts, Pickleville Theater, and Bridgerland Andventure Park. The manager was very responsive.

Overall the site was good. We did have 2 beds that the sheets had sand in them upon arrival. We did find some dirty clothes under one of the beds as well. There was quite a bit of spices and cooking items available for us. Having such a large group (31) having more than just 2 rolls of paper towels and extra toilet paper for the week would have been helpful. Another suggestion would be to have the bath towels equally distributed to all the bathrooms. Guest room 2 bath had a large number of towels but the other 2 levels had limited towels in the baths. Overall we had a great time and there was a lot to keep all the littles occupied. It was a beautiful view and close to the main area for shopping and site seeing.

There was room for our children and grandchildren to spread out. The slides between floors were well used, as was the gym room, and other game areas. The one issue we had was quickly addressed. Having access to the washers and dryers was helpful. Weather was cool so we spent our time together, playing games in the house.

We were very pleased to stay at the Big House at Bear Lake for our family reunion. We had just over 40 people with a wide range of ages, and the house met our needs very well. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and we were able spread out and really relax. We were a little concerned about the proximity of other homes, but found that it didn't really detract at all from our experience. There was plenty to do in the house for all ages, and we went early enough that there weren't really any crowds, so we were able to go to the beach and enjoy some water activities. We had a little problem with a breaker tripping on the stove circuit our second day, but Donna sent someone promptly and had everything operational again in short order. If we stay at Bear Lake again in the future, we will definitely consider staying at the Big House.

Beautiful home. Had a great experience. The only downfall is the thermostats were locked and it was super hot on the top floor even with windows open. There were also a few undisclosed cameras but didn’t feel invaded in any way. Overall had everything we needed and so much space.

Too many positives to list, rooms, layout, kitchen amenities were all everything we needed. The play areas are awesome and the beds are comfortable.
Only negative is it is hard to get the kids to leave the house too much fun! When you do though you can sled off the back porch in the winter and the skiing is easily accessed.

Arrived on Thursday Feb 23 and left Sunday Feb 26. We had a wonderful time the place was well equipped and clean. Easy to communicate with Donna the manager. Nice gathering areas and the recreational room was awesome for our younger children allowing the adults to visit separately. The view was amazing and Beaver Mt Ski Resort was only 20 minutes away and not crowded on the weekdays. All in all a memorable experience for our family.

Everything was great. When we move some furniture around we found lots of trash underneath (half eaten taco and trash). Some of beds also had trash under them. That is the only concern was the cleaning crew didn't do the best of cleaning. Everything else was great. Trying to control the temperature was a problem (we couldn't). some people were cold at night and others were hot.

There was a schedule issue with the cleaners so they were still cleaning when we arrived. But they were quick and effective and got done before most of our group came. We had some hiccups but they were resolved promptly by the manager! Thank you for the sweet gift too! Amazing space for our group!!! 😊

Last year we took our kids and grandkids to the big house for their Christmas present. This year our grandkids said they wanted to do it again it was so much fun. We are now booking it for next year too! The kids had a ball sledding, on the amazing hill right outside the back door. We have 15 grandkids and there was not one time in the 3 days we were there that anyone said "I'm Bored" best Christmas present ever!

We had stayed at this house many years ago with my parents, brothers and their spouses and kids, and we got to big. So this year my husband and I decided to carry on the tradition with our kids and grandkids. It was amazing we all had fun and the house will hold us all for many years to come. The owner was great to work with, the house was clean with lots of kitchen stuff to use. We are hoping to go again next year and maybe even stay a day longer!

My family and I have been gathering at the Big House for an annual long weekend for three or four years now. I have six children and eighteen grandchildren and I use the long weekend as a mass Christmas present. Everyone always says it's the best gift they get. I agree.
