About this house rental
This large villa, of typical “Arcachonnaise” architectural style (built at the beginning of 20th century) is located in a very desirable residential district.
The garden measures over 23,680 square feet and is equipped with an exceptional, private and secured stainless steel swimming pool (Swimming pool open from 12/07 to 20/09, subject to favourable weather conditions) of great size 21m x 7m, with a diving board (3 m high). The swimming pool depth varies between 1,70m in the shallow end and 3,50m in the deep end.
The villa offers direct access to the beach of “PERREIRE,” via a short walk through the backyard across a wooded path (300m).
Easily walkable to the center of the Moulleau village (only 15 minutes by foot).
During the summer you will enjoy several outdoor areas including the main terrace which overlooks the swimming pool, and is equipped with many lounge chairs, an outdoor living space, and a dining area for entertaining, equipped with a parasol, couches, and a large wooden table with 10 chairs.
A gas Plancha Grill and a BBQ are available on site.
The backyard is equipped with amenities including a ping-pong table, as well as volley ball & badminton net.
All guests will find their own living space in this beautiful 3,200 sq ft villa equipped with modern comfort and authentic Arcachonaisse decoration.
Ground floor:
- A vast entry hall decorated with original woodworks and oil painting murals which accesses the common living spaces of the house: a parlor, a large living room, kitchen and dining room located in the veranda.
A broad wooden staircase leads guests from the first floor, to the second floor.
- The kitchen is fully renovated and equipped with a brand-new stove (5 fires and 2 ovens), a dishwasher, microwave, and fully stocked cupboards with dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc…
- Adjacent to the kitchen is a storeroom equipped with a moveable pantry, a refrigerator/freezer and wall cupboards for storage.
- The living room (connected with the hall and the kitchen) gives a view of the garden and trees through a vast Bow Window on one hand, and a large bay window on the other. The living room and boudoir are equipped with flat screen TV.
- The boudoir room is also equipped with a library.
- The sun room, used as formal dining room, remains hot and luminous during the winter thanks to its advantageous exposure, and cool during the summer thanks to blinds, making it the idea location to host family meals. It is equipped with a family style dining table sitting 12 comfortably.
On the 2nd floor:
You have different TV in the flat.
Each room on this floor is unique, full of authentic character and renovated for modern comfort.
- The master bedroom (Queen size bed) offer a balcony facing the ocean and a master bathroom
- The other two large rooms (Queen size bed) are equipped with their own bathroom (Single vanity and shower).
- A half bath is also located in the hallway.
On the 3rd floor:
This floor is decorated with authentic wood and has a “marine” feel making it look like a boat cabin. The layout makes it ideal for children and teens.
- A bedroom “boat cabin” with a twin bed and a vanity.
- A bedroom with a full-size bed, a TV and a vanity.
- Two bedrooms equipped with two twin beds and a vanity in one.
- A Baby-room (with a crib), equipped with a changing table, a vanity and other children supplies…
- One shared bathroom for the floor (with shower).
- Detached toilets on the landing.
In the basement:
- A small bedroom with simple bed, closet and vanity.
- A detached bathroom with shower and toilet.
- A laundry room equipped with two washing machines, a dryer, ironing board and drying lines.
Location and parking:
There is a covered garage with 2 spots (available during the summer only from May to Sept). Airbnb guests can park up to 4 vehicles in front of the garage, inside the private driveway. Street parking is also available on the sidewalk in front of the house.
Direct access to “Perreire” beach, through a wooded path (900 feet)
The center of the town the “Moulleau,” is a short 15-minute walk away, or 5-minute drive.
House Rules:
No parties or events.
The house is located in a residential and quiet area, so it is critical to respect the surroundings, and not to create any disturbance for the neighbors.
The use of the swimming pool is restricted from 9am to 10pm daily
In order to ensure the comfort of our tenants, smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms.
Check-in after 2 pm.

Located less than a mile from the ocean, within walking distance from the Moulleau village, everything is easily done by foot or bike.
In the Moulleau Village, ample choice of cafes, bars, restaurants, ice-cream shops, creperies, etc. At the end of the pier, you can buy a ticket to board the traditional “Pinasse” boat which cross the basin several times a day for the Cap Ferret or the “Arguin” sand bar.
Within walking distance from the house is the Arcachon Tennis Club, the Thalazure Spa, and in driving in direction of the town of “La Teste,” is an international 18-hole Golf Course.
Getting around:
Local electric city buses drive right by the Villa (located on Road “A” of the Bus line). These buses are easily recognizable as they are yellow, and « EHO » is written on them. These buses follow a blue line drawn on the street and stop anywhere along the line. You can waive at it from in front of the house or anywhere along the path at your convenience.
Bike rentals are available in the Moulleau. Many bike paths run through the neighborhood.

Beds are fully made before check-in (mattress protector, fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet with cover + and pillow cases).
Booking includes a complete change of bedroom and bathroom linens per week: 1 linen change per bedroom + 1 new set of towels per person (a small and a small towel), clean beach towels and Futas for the swimming pool.
For your convenience, you will find at your disposal and free of charge: toiletries in the bathrooms, and some non-perishable canes and condiments in the kitchen.

A bank imprint of 3500€ will be requested as part of the rental. Managed by the secure online service Swikly, it is compulsory and must be made before arrival in the accommodation.
The amount is not blocked or debited and does not affect the maximum amount you can use your credit card.
