Beautiful, private home in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the beach or quaint downtown Manzanita is perfect for your beach get-a-way.
Enjoy family & friends in this cheerful unique decor in an open living/dining space with vaulted ceilings. A wall of windows lets in the light or gives a view of winter storms. Fully equipped kitchen, with an extra kitchenette, everything you need to cook for and entertain a large group.
The downstairs area 2 bedrooms, laundry and living area/game room with a not-so-comfy sectional that turns into a king size bed, makes this home great for two families or a little extra privacy. The downstairs has a foosball table, big screen TV and an Xbox 360 with games and there is an outdoor dart board under the deck. The second master on the lower level that has its own bathroom and outside access to the private patio for using the spa.
Upstairs, in addition to the light-filled living and dining areas there are two spacious bedrooms; one is a luxurious master suite with an attached private bathroom, dual closets and a sitting area. The other, with it's whimsical decor, is at the end of the hall to provide privacy for the adults or space for kids to play and make some noise.
Gather outdoors and grill on the secluded upper deck or soak in the large spa on the patio, which can be accessed from the deck or the downstairs master. Covered outdoor area with darts and a chiminea. Other amenities include a two large ROKU Smart TV's, wifi, a small office space and washer & dryer. Plenty of books, DVDs, games and toys for the young at heart. There is beach equipment available in the garage for you to use and you will enjoy the short walk to town or the ocean from our property.

We had a wonderful stay here for a week. The house is well set up for an extended family group with several bathrooms and a separate living area in the basement. The hot tub is a treat and it's an easy walk to the beach and town. Lots of fun games, toys, and a well appointed kitchen. Brenda was easy to communicate with. We'd love to make it a tradition and stay here again.

We stayed in the house with another family (four adults, four kids) and there was space for all. The house was well stocked and the kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong tables. Easy walk to the beach with a wagon provided in the garage (and beach chairs which we appreciated). Main Street was a short walk as well. Thank you for a great week at the beach.

We loved staying in the Mermaid House! There were 6 of us + a pup and we had the perfect amount of space (4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms). The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to make delicious meals and treats both inside and outside on the grill. The hot tub was a huge added bonus and work great. I would love to stay here again!

Getting to stay at Brenda's house for our beach getaway made for such a magical weekend. Our kids really loved the toy cars and the adults really enjoyed the open spaces and hanging out in the hot tub after the kids were in bed. Much love to Brenda for sharing such a great place.

The beach is right down the road, town is a short walk, and a clean, quiet refuge to begin and end the day of adventure. I'm grateful we found such a perfect place for our annual family visit to Manzanita.

Can’t beat the location, so close to both the beach and town. The hot tub was amazing especially in the winter. The other outdoor areas looked nice too, would also consider staying in the summer. The main living area was spacious enough for everyone. Well stocked kitchen. The only thing to note is that the upstairs bedrooms are way nicer than the basement rooms. Not a deal breaker and pretty typical with places we’ve rented in the past. The kitchenette area in the basement and 2nd mini living room was great though!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home! The location was lovely, a very relaxing and quiet neighborhood, but with close access to both the beach and to the main street, where there were shops and stores to explore. The house was fully furnished, cozy and well decorated, and provided ample linens, toiletries, and supplies for cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub too! The split levels made it easy for our extended family to spread out into their own bedrooms, the large TVs had all of these subscription services we needed, and the house was definitely set up for a relaxing time! We loved going to the bookstore, playing fetch on the beach with our two small dogs, trying different coffee shops, grilling on the patio, and drinking local wine. We’ve come to the Oregon coast every year for a few years now, and this house and location are our new favorite! Thank you for an incredible stay.

We really enjoy staying at this rental and have stayed a few times. By the end of the summer it was definitely in need of a deep clean. The couches smelled like wet dogs had been on them. I guess that’s probably to be expected at a pet friendly place on the coast. I honestly wish it wasn’t pet friendly because that’s the only drawback. The place is otherwise great

This lovely house in Manzanita was perfect for all 10 of us; from a one year old to seniors. The house is wonderfully appointed with everything you need other than your groceries and sun screen. The rooms are spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated. There is lots of really fun art pieces scattered throughout the house. The owner painted the lovely garage doors and some of the walls in the downstairs. It's a short walk to the beach and shops in Manzanita. We loved our time spent at Short Sand Beach and Hug Point (at low tide!) . We will definitely return when the opportunity arises and will recommend it to others who might be interested.

This house is an easy 5 minute walk to the beautiful, wide beach of Manzanita! Two levels of living allow space to spread out. This house has more amenities than I have ever seen in a vrbo property. Fully equipped kitchen to include basic spices, beach chairs, wagon and toys - even a kite! Huge assortment of games, puzzles, DVDs, toys, books and baby equipment. Two washers and dryers! Highly recommend!

The house is located just a short walk from the beach and the town! It was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Only thing to note is that the downstairs only has one bathroom and it’s attached to one of the bedrooms. The door of that bedroom is an accordion door so there is less privacy volume wise. Would definitely recommend.

No ocean view, but you can hear the ocean and a lot of trees and birds in the neighborhood makes it a very natural space. Short 5 minute walk to the beach or an extra block to the heart of downtown. House has foodball, TONS of bord games, kids toys, cool atmosphere, place has almost everything. My wife and kids loved it too, we would definitely go back!

The house is spacious and has plenty of forms of entertainment - our days were full of reading, games, ping pong, X box, walks on the beach, s'mores on the fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub! The house was the exact same as pictures and very clean. You are a 2 minute walk away from a beautiful beach. It was also very appreciated for the huge T.V. and fireplace as well as the ping pong table, dog towels.

We had a great weekend in Manzanita staying at this house. It is in a great location for downtown and easy walk to the beach. We had a mix of weather which made it nice to get outside and also cozy up near the fireplace to watch a movie. Hot tub was nice and hot, too! Communication was smooth and easy. We had such a wonderful experience with this home and working with the owner, Brenda! We hosted our wedding reception here as we had our small microwedding on the beach with our closest family and friends. I cannot express enough how perfect this home was and I would love to come back again with family and friends in the future :)
