It was a wonderful location for me and my family.
It was so private and the lake was clean and beautiful to look out on. We swam and used the canoe, and kayaks.
The people in the area were all so friendly and would wave as they passed on their boats or paddle boards. Madeline was super helpful and would respond quickly with any questions. We will definitely be back.

Fall Trip
We had a great stay in early October. We did arrive in daylight which was very helpful as the road into the house was quite an experience! House is wonderfully located at the edge of the lake but yet in the woods. There were only two of us so we did not use the upstairs. Everything we needed was at the house. Used the kayak for a trip around the lake and our grandchildren took a trip to the island in the row boat. Would definitely come back again!! Even got to see the loon family!!

Magical old school modern
Our stay was wonderful. The house had a classic old school feel, but had excellent air conditioning, wi fi, radio and tv. We tried all the different boats on the property. The Sunfish was my favorite - perfect for sailing on a lake where the winds can be tricky. The views from the living room, and from many other points on the property were just spectacular. Lots of interesting birds -seagulls, loons, kingfishers, ducks, geese, heron, and an eagle! We took a two hour hike right out the door each day, and found biking routes as well. Shopping was close by and Burlington only half an hour away. But we just enjoyed hanging out at the house and walking in the neighborhood. It felt completely private even though it was in a lakeside community of sorts. Only needed the a.c. twice because the breeze off the lake was so pleasant. Also tried the fire pit by the shore. Just idyllic. Hoping we can go back in the not too distant future. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful getaway.
