The location in the Wadi Rum, the incredible view, the stars, the beduin people, the jeep tour organised.

Super Chef, super Personal, unser schönstes Erlebnis in Jordanien.

All the people were lovely and they intoduced the beduin culture to us.
The road trip experience in the desert was unbelievable discovering parts of wadi rum and also we had lunch outside.
Thank you all for the warm welcome

Everything okay. Tent has basic things, maybe the bathroom can be improved a little bit. But at the end of the day you pay a little amount of money for dinner, breakfast and staying. Host really gentle and perfect.

If you consider this, just go ahead and expand the definition of who you are - give yourself this incredible opportunity to experience welcoming open-hearted bediuns and a glimpse of present lifestyle and the huge element created by the surroundings and profound energy from the mountains that you can easily explore by yourself in the daytime.
Thank you for everything you're space allowed me to be taught, feel and see.
P.s.
Thank you for taking good care of my camel during my stay, and bringing him back from the mountains when he needed help. He was very happy in the dessert, enjoyed the company of lovely people around the fire, and the delicious nourishing food.
All the best Olivia

We stayed at Sunset Oasis Camp beginning of February. The weather was quite cold those two nights we had in Wadi Rum, but we got a lot of warm blankets so we kept ourselves nice and warm during the night in the tent.
We did camel riding and 1day jeep safari. Both were well organized, the landscape is stunning where ever you look. The food was really good during the safari and in the camp as well. Everybody was really friendly, was cozy to sit with the fire in the mornings and evenings in the main tent.
You shouldn’t have expectations of having running water, electricity and wifi all day long, but it is just fine as it is. Leave your every day habits behind and just take in the calmness of the place.

Great staff. Abdul gave us a great tour in the desert.
The experience of sleeping in the camp was great. We had extra blankets so we weren´t too cold at night.
They cooked us a delicious traditional dinner.

I was concerned a bit as a solo female traveller but there’s nothing to worry about. Safe place and friendly staff. I was also worried about the cold night. However, they prepared 3 extra blankets and the tent was well functioned as well(no heating facility but isolation). I slept well in a rainy late December night. I also did a tour with Abdul. He may not be a talkative/sweetest guide but always willing to take care of my needs as many as he can/ answered and many questions from me - overall, very nice experience!!
Food, I saw the low review on breakfast already but chose this place overall consideration. I arrived late, so didn’t have the real dinner. But they still managed to bring me food and I enjoyed after long day in the rain. Lunch during the tour was also disappointing. If food is the most important thing for you, then no. Otherwise, in case you can compromise food for other values, I highly recommend this!!

Eveything was amazing!
Abdulsalam contacted me right away via WhatsApp after booking the camp. He kindly picked me up at the visitor center and took me to the camp via 4WD.
The camp has a great location, tents are cosy and big enough. Views and the desert's silcene are amazing. The big community tent has a chimney, which I liked a lot as its used to prepare tea 'bedouin style' and to sit together to chat and hang aroung. The staff is very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were traditionally prepared and delicious.
As I was traveling on my own, but still wanted to do a jeep tour in Wadi Rum, Abdulsalam organized a shared 4WD-tour for me for the next day, which was very nice and saved me a good amount of money. Thanks again for that!
Toilets didn't really flush properly, when I used them, but were clean. But honestly: you're in the middle of the desert, what can you expect!
As it is kind of a small camp only (7 tents), you have to be prepared that not everyday there always are other travelers, which might be not ideal of you're traveling solo.
But I was totally happy with this place and can only recommend it! Shkran!

I was on one day trip with brother of Abdalsalam (really good driver) and it was great pleasure to stay at this camp and experience something like that. I recommend this camp and trip to everyone.

I enjoyed the stay a lot. The camp is beautifully located, the beds in the tents are comfortable and the food is super tasty. Though the best is certainly the company. Abdalsalam and the others were very welcoming. I would totally recommend to stay here and ideally to book a tour as well.
Nothing negative.

My experience at the Sunset Oasis hotel was the best I had in my whole vacation in Jordan.
Abdullasalam is a very great host, welcoming, careful about the needs of his guests. The other people running the place are also very generous and nice, especially Abdullah, the funniest one!

It was one of the greatest experience I've ever had. Everything was awesome for the camp. The tea, the Bedouin music, foods... And also you should definitely know Abdusselam. He is extremely kind, helpful and funny. He made my experience better.

A very authentic Bedoiun experience. The host, Abdalsalam, offered great hospitality. He is a very genuine man. He also arranged a jeep tour of Wadi Rum for me and was my guide during my one day's stay (including an overnight stay) and prices were very reasonable.
The evening meal was also excellent and there was a very easy going atmosphere at the camp.
No complaints. Everything was excellent

My stay and tour at Sunset Oasis camp were exceptional and exceeded all my expectations. It was my first time visiting Jordan and I instantly fell in love with the quiet and peaceful desert of Wadi Rum. The camp was quiet, clean and comfortable with just the right Bedouin athmosphere. The English speaking staff was always friendly and respectful (as a solo traveling woman this is very important to me) and I felt safe during my whole stay.
Abdalsalam was the best host and tour guide! We experienced the desert through his eyes and he loved to share his knowledge and experience with us. Would definitely recommend spending more than one night here and also booking a tour with him!

I highly recommend this place as a perfect location to discover Wadi Rum desert with its stunning mountains and pink sand. Thanks to Abdalsalam, our host, we could experience Bedouin hospitality, just to mention delicious food (you must try their zarb!), nice talks and unforgettable jeep tour.
The camp has a fantastic location (surrounded by rocks on the one side, and with a great view on the other one), a tent was equipped with blankets to warm us up during cold nights and the bathroom was clean.

Abdel Salam is a great host who will make you discover the desert and all these most beautiful landscapes! We started our day with a camel ride and then several sites with breathtaking views of the Wadi Rum desert. We ended the day with a splendid sunset. At the camp level, everything is clean, nicely decorated with an oriental atmosphere. As a Host, Abdel is a great meeting and with whom we shared beautiful memories (sand sledge, music, song and dance by the fire, giggles) In short! If we were to go back there, for sure, we would come back to his place! "let'go Marie - Jo / you welcome / comme -ci comme ça 😉. Caroline alias Marianne from the desert.

Beautiful camp in Wadi Rum desert, Abdu is a wonderful host and I took a full day tour for a good price as there aren't many tourists in Jordan right now (I live in Aman). We went to Jabal Burdah to climb which was an unforgettable experience - highly recommend staying at this camp :)

Amazing place with beautiful view for the sunset and desert. Very good location. The hosts were super friendly and warm people. The food was very tasty and local tea is just perfect! Definitely the place to stay if you´re looking for good service with low price. We also went on desert excursion with our host and it was AMAZING experience! Recommended place to stay in Wadi Rum desert!

Abdu's hospitality was way beyond our expectations. He was not only our host, but he became our friend. We are really thankful to him for the whole transport organization, punctuality and tour advice. The desert tour with him was once-in-a- lifetime cultural experience. The camp itself is located in the desert with a unbelievable sunset view. The food was delicious, especially the pea soup and the bedouin tea. Strongly recommend the place!
