Avoid this hotel. If you do not wish to be disappointed, you can get your money worth else where.

Nothing, the hotel was disappointing, very poor options at breakfast for the price they charge. I was expecting more choices if you are celiac or diary free, you're bogged. Typical tourist trap, lead photograph misleading it shows property in a nice rural area with a garden, however it is located on a busy road . No tea or coffee in the room, you have to ask. The spa and the reception are not coordinated to make your appointment. However the spa os always closed with a note be back at such and such time, when you arrive at given time the note has been changed and it is closed again.It is not possible to book an appointment upon your arrival. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays too even though it is advertised and should be open Mon- Sat. Staff has a very basic level of English, so if you are a foreign visitor, communication is difficult. The rooms are dark, when you open the blinds neighbours from the surrounding buildings are staring in your bedroom. The hotel has failed in all directions to provide what has been advertised. disappointed. Avoid this hotel. If you do not wish to be disappointed, you can get your money worth else where Extremely overpriced for what they can provide.

Super mooi & sfeervol appartement/hotel

Ontzettend schoon, mooi appartement (hotel). Ondanks dat het midden in de dorp/stad ligt is het erg rustig. Wij hadden een mooi appartement met balkon. Alles zeer schoon. Fijne badkamer. Best een hard bed maar dat vonden wij niet erg. Alles bij elkaar een aanrader!!!

De stoeltjes op het balkon. Hier kan je niet goed/lekker op zitten (zijn houten klapstoeltjes) zeker als je buiten wilt eten. Tevens staat er in het appartement geen tafel met stoelen om te ontbijten. Nu moest je dat op een bank nuttigen.

Perfect location for a stay in Lisieux

This is an excellent hotel. We stayed one night. The accommodation is spacious, clean and modern. On site free parking. Easy access to the town.

Very good family friendly property

Very family-friendly property at a very good location. Rooms were clean Friendly staff too. The communication was very good, the staff arranged the code for the gate by message on this platform and keys to the rooms on the desk. For the staff, I will give a five star rating.

The EV charger was just a basic electric plug which didn't work on Tesla. Breakfast - we expected hot food, but it was just a baguette roll, croissant, and a chocolate roll. This part was not value for money. I will recommend to have food from outside.

It is excellent. It was nice to use the pool. Well-decorated, modern and clean. Excellent location too.

No coffee machine in rooms but it is understandable as you can book breakfast there. The room got really hot too.

Fabulous, clean, charming hotel. Recommended.

Fabulous location, wonderful room and very comfy bed. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning with fresh bread and croissants and coffee, although it was an additional €10. The room was lovely with a kitchenette, but it would have been a nice touch to have coffee and tea making available in the room, something I would definitely expect at this price point! Sadly, the restaurant was also closed during our visit, perhaps an August thing, but after a long ride, we were looking forward to not having to go out and the food looked great!

Really terrible.

Booked purely to use the pool with kids. No mention of having to book and only for half an hour. The only slot they had was after 9pm which is useless with young kids. On a rainy day it left us with little to do and really ruined the day. Bed was two uncomfy cheap singles held together with a sheet. Mildew growing round bottom of shower. We were in room directly below kitchen and didn't get to sleep till kitchen closure - it was like they were smacking pans on the floor it was so so loud. Really, really terrible considering the price we paid.

Nice building and common spaces! The apartment was nice and had a big bathroom. Special mention for the restaurant on the top floor, food was delicious and staff super friendly

Not clear information about the usage of the pool and sauna - they should specify that you can only use it for 30 min and there is no chance to book extra time (we would have stayed maybe an hour if we could - and paid for it), considering that this is the reason Why we chose to stay there. The apartment was nice but dirty.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful building! Very comfortable beds and amazing shower!

The room had everything we needed. The free parking onitsha was incredibly useful and staff were polite and helpful.

Spacious, quiet room with nice outlook. Excellent breakfast provided.

Sadly no air-conditioning on a hot night. No complimentary water on arrival.

Great place for an overnight stop.

Large apartment, would have been suitable for a longer stay. Parking was good.

We couldn't use the safe as the batteries had run out. they couldn't replace so we had to carry all our valuable around with us.

A special treat with friendly staff, great food, lovely room and in a brilliant location.

It was such a lovely hotel, the team were super friendly and helpful at all times. The room was perfect for us with two young children as they were on sofa beds in a seperate room and we had a fridge. The location was ideal for walking around and exploring the town.

A lovely and enjoyable stay in Lisieux!

We had a lovely stay at Manoir L'Évêché, located in the small town of Lisieux. Right from the get-go the building looked modern and luxurious, clean and welcoming. They're very punctual, so a check-in at 4.00 p.m., means 4.00 p.m. and not sooner, which wasn't a problem for us as we arrived in the afternoon. The room was spacious enough for a family of three and it seemed recently renovated which was great. The room was clean, and despite the creaking hardwood floors, was soundproofed quite well. The bathroom was also modern, the shower was easy to operate, and it was great to see they had a hairdryer installed too so you can leave yours at home. They also clean the room every day during your stay. The breakfast was quintessentially French and delicious (ask for the apple juice, they get it from an orchard about 5 km from Lisieux!). The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. If you come by car, the hotel apartment offers easy and free parking at the property. The location was also fantastic; it's a stone's throw away from the St. Pierre Cathedral, and only a few minutes' drive away from Carmel and the beautiful Basilica. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

While the rooms were great, it was unfortunate that the hotel apartment did not have airconditioning - however, you can open the windows which provides enough of a breeze to keep the room cool, especially at night. You may experience some noise from outside, but since Lisieux is a small town, it quiets down relatively quickly. In addition, the room also lacked space to hang/store your clothes - it'd be nice to maybe put in another cabinet/drawer in the room as you run out of space rather quickly when you're traveling with more than 2 people. It would also be nice to maybe add another chair in the spacious room, so all guests have a place to sit. Other than this, Manoir L'Évêché made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay when you're traveling through Lisieux and its surrounding areas, and will easily turn into a home away from home.

Comfortable, relaxed place to stay in the heart of Lisieux.

Beautifully furnished and so comfortable and quiet. Perfect location. Easy walking distance to Carmel and the Basilica. Private parking behind and very secure.
