Mandala Sands has three bedrooms and two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, an generous deck & an electric barbecue.

Bring up to eight of your favorite people because this place has the room for it! With three queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa, your entire family or group of friends are bound to want to stay with you here! Who could pass up a roomy beach house?!

Did we already mention that it's practically seaside? Just one row of houses separates Mandala from the beach and the sand. Hence, why we call it Mandala Sands. It's just a walk to the beach, where you can catch the sunset over the vast expanse of waves.

Relax on the couch after a long day of beachcombing, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, right outside the bedroom window.

This is a very clean, highly functional home near the beach. A short trail through the tidal grasses lead you to Westport's pristine 3-mile long sandy beach. Take the crab rings to the wharf and bring home dinner!

This home has a fully equipped kitchen, making it perfect enough to whip up a morning breakfast to start the day or a late night snack when you're just too excited to fall asleep.

The living area is filled with windows that let in the sun and cozy couches to sink into when you're ready to relax. Warm up in front of the fireplace and watch your favorite movie to end the night! Mandala Sands has a mounted flat screen that provides that home away from home comfort.

Dogs are welcome with a standard per dog, per night fee.

AREA DEVELOPMENT

Construction of new homes occurs regularly in the area. Currently there are homes planned and being built near this property, some on the ocean side. After your stay maybe you'll want to buy or build one yourself.

We know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some, while others know their way around it. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties are up to high quality standards.

We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking.

We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise.

MANAGED: This managed property needs good guest behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and requires online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. IF dogs area allowed, there is a quantity and weight limit, with a per-day, per-dog fee. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording depending on staffing. There may be interior decibel meters to report excessive noise. To allow enough time for full cleaning, check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out is 11am. Bookings over 29 days are with Prospera Property Management.

We returned to Westport for our annual Sisters weekend. This property was great for the five of us. The ocean view was lovely and the beach was just a short walk away. We would stay here again.

We stayed here again for our anual Father's day family fishing trip. We noticed a few upgrades since last year. New couches upstairs, paint and cobwebs gone. We enjoy the ocean few from the deck. We had 2 suggestions. One, please upgrade the hide-a-bed downstairs. Its unusable. The mattress is paper thin on bars and springs. The folding bed in the closet wasnt any better. Luckily we brought an air mattress this year just incase. Two, we couldnt get the cooling system upstairs to stay on more than a few seconds & it was 80 when the sun hit the west side windows. Maybe a maintenance check. Otherwise we had a great time as usual.

I booked the house for a weekend out at the coast with a friend and our two kids. Pros: - Great communication from the property manager. Super clear what the expectations were for check-in and check out, emails ahead of time, etc. Super friendly on the phone. - The house is really well stocked. Leftover food from other guests cleaned and organized in a pantry, games and toys to play, and a ton of beach stuff to use in the garage. - Beds were super comfortable. - Great view of the water Cons: - The “beach access” is a little more involved than the pictures imply. It’s a pretty steep drop off from the upper dunes to the beach. Definitely not for older folks or little kids! Later on, we did find a staircase a bit north that was easier. - Cleanliness left a bit to be desired, there was still toothpaste from a previous guest in the upstairs sink. - The downstairs was super dark. Mismatched and dim lightbulbs made it a bit difficult to see. - The thermostat in one of the rooms was broken, which meant that either the wall heater was going full blast all night or the room was cold. I had to keep it on to get my daughter to sleep and then sneak in to turn it off so she wouldn’t overheat. - The 5:00 pm check-in is a bit late - This is definitely not the responsibility of the owner/property manager but note that as of May 2024, there is construction happening right next door. We were woken up at 6:30 both mornings by crews starting to work right outside our window.

The view was amazing. The area was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The home need a few minor improvements. Unstained towels & a new unrusted functioning shade in the master bedroom would be nice. The home had everything we needed for a great family get away. The host answered out questipns promptly. We would come back.

Wonderful beach property

Comfortable house with what seemed almost like a private beach for our use. Property description said crab pots were available for renter’s use but the two crab pots were locked and property manager did not have keys. When we arrived, there was trash strewn all over the property. Apparently, there are bears there who get into the garbage. Property manager came and quickly cleaned up the mess. The same thing happened on the second day. Overall, we had a fun, relaxing time here.

This was a great place for our family. Grandma, Kids and so’s and 2 year old and dogs. There is a fabulous view of the ocean from the main living, dining, kitchen and master bedroom. House is very comfy with plenty to do including games, puzzles etc. We would definitely stay again.

Great View and private beach access are the strong points. Top floor has nice panoramic view but bottom floor is a bit of a Dungun. Carpet is a bit old. Kitchen is well equipped but some of the pots and pans were left dirty by the previous user.

Mandala Sands is a lovely, tranquil place with a beautiful view. The main room has lots of space for at least 6 people to mill around comfortably. The property manager's sheet seems a bit militaristic ("you will have enough toilet paper for only one day," "you must furnish your own dishwashing soap," etc.), but when we arrived, we could see that the place is more generously furnished than that, with games to play and kites to fly on the beach (we even added a cool Batman kite to the collection!). All in all, we had a terrific experience at Mandala Sands.
