Great little cabin we had a blast there we had some bad weather for the past by quickly the dock is awesome.

Great set up for tritoon with dock. Most relaxing vacation we have had in years! Hope to go back soon!

A funky cute cabin on the water. We had kayaks and a canoe. Can't wait to go back.

Great place to stay. Very quiet place no traffic. Enjoyed the stay.

We came to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary by relaxing and fishing. The rain kept us inside 2 1/2 days, but we did get in a day and a half with good luck catching some nice bream. One suggestion, since we were forced inside by the weather, we were very uncomfortable due to the condition of the furnishings in the living area. Everything else is as described in listing. Loved the seclusion and privacy, nice fishing cabin.

We fished from the dock with plenty of room (caught a few nice bass and a turtle). Everything was clean. Very quite and the beds were comfortable. Would be great for a family of 5.

A perfect place for a quiet getaway! The house is comfortable and has all the essentials for relaxing, cooking on the stove or barbeque, and fishing when the mood hits. It is directly on a small cove just off the river, deep in the surrounding woods, with only a few other homes within earshot. The hosts were very helpful and made sure the house was clean and ready for our stay. We look forward to planing our next visit!

We love bass fishing and really wanted to experience Lake Guntersville and we weren't disappointed. We traveled from Northern Minnesota to spend a week. We were so happy with the cabin, boat dock, location and everything else. It was myself, husband and adult son. We couldn't find anything wrong with the cabin :) Already talking about returning next April. It was worth the 20 hour drive.

Fish weren't biting but would stay there again

There are parts of the street the house is on that is kind of bumpy. Just be aware and take the road slowly.
The house and dock were very clean. We didn't have a boat, so we fished right off the dock. We were able to catch small largemouth bass and a few bream. A boat would have been ideal. The water level is low in this area, so I imagine some care needs to be taken when driving the boat in and out of the area.
The house has utensils, cookware, knives, plates, bowls, a keurig, oven/stove, microwave, & fridge. It's a bit rustic, which we liked. There are a series of windows in the back with the dining room table. We really enjoyed the view during meals. There's no tub, only a shower stall, but that really didn't faze us.
It was so quiet and peaceful. My husband and I loved it. We saw ducks, a beaver, and what looked like a bald eagle. For anyone who loves to fish, this is a great location that doesn't break the bank.

I have been fortunate enough to stay here several times. The place is beautiful, love watching the water. I always look forward to staying again.

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property is well appointed and comes off very much like a fish camp. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. It was a great stay and we would happily stay here again if the opportunity presents.

If you want to unplug, be surrounded by nature and spend some quality family time look no further. This quaint little cabin was everything we were looking for. Serene surrounding but only 15 minutes from town. The cabin is clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Booking, checking and check out was a breeze. We had no issues. We would love to go back some other time.

Very nice rental in a great location

Very nice property. Perfect Fall weather with warm days and color change. Cabin was comfortable; nice to allow dogs. Very quiet due to off season. Didn't see much sign of fishermen or fish this time of year. We strongly recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. Beautiful secluded location with stunning views overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great location for a good cardio hike…
We had a small issue with the property owner Morgan regarding an area for improvement. I very politely made a suggestion and never received an answer.

Small cabin in a wooded setting with a great view of the lake. Has all the essentials. A quiet, peaceful & very relaxing stay.
Just a few miles from town for your shopping needs.
Nice dock/boat lift. Canoe and kayaks supplied. Difficult to fish from the dock since it’s shallow with alot of eel grass.
Owners are very friendly and easy to contact.

I believe this cabin is better than the listing stated! Our group was in Awe and we loved it! Definitely recommend staying here!

This was our 2nd stay at the Cabin, and is a family favorite. It's a great get away from all the hustle and bustle of the City. Fishing, kayaking, & swimming, it's all right there! S'mores in the firepit at night was also a treat. If your family loves the outdoors, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay in July! The house was comfortable and the backyard was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and canoeing. It was peaceful just watching the fish off of the dock, and the butterflies, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and hummingbirds around the yard. We have ATT and would lose cell service with our carrier. The house does have wifi. If you are there to getaway then it’s perfect but if you’re trying to work remotely then you might have issues. It’s a lovely place to stay and we would stay again if we’re in the area!

Had an awesome time.

The house was spotless, smelled fresh and clean. We are frequent travelers so brought the little extras but most were actually supplied by the owner. We had a small family get together on Sunday and the kids had a blast, canoeing and swimming and "otter hunting". Several fished. It was a great experience and hope to stay there next year at the same time.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything we needed was provided. We brought along our 11 year old grandson, our mini schnauzer and our boat. We fished every day from sun up to sun down and being able to leave the boat at the covered dock was very convenient. The quiet cove gave us a relaxing spot to sit on the porch swing drinking coffee and taking in the beautiful scenery including the osprey. We would highly recommend this property. If you are pulling a boat the information about the driveway being a tight angle to get into was helpful, we put the boat on the lake before going to the house so that all we would be dealing with was the trailer. We pull a 21’ nitro so it was a little tight getting the angle to back into the driveway but very doable and there was plenty of space to fit the trailer and vehicle. Thank you for a great getaway!!

The listing was perfect for us. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the sun porch and deck. We took our boat and keeping it at the boat dock made it easier. My husband is excellent at backing and parking a boat- and since the neighbor blocks any access to have a little more driveway to make it easier - if you can’t back and park a boat- you will have a tough time.
We would certainly stay here again. We wanted a peaceful , laid back week and it was Perfect!
Fished, went to the bat cave and the Cooley cemetery - all right near our house. Took drives to High Falls park, sunset drive, cathedral Caverns and more. I loved how it was away from noise and traffic yet easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go!!

We came to fish and fish we did. The house was comfortable and it was nice having our dog along. The bed was comfortable, covered boat dock was a huge plus and it had everything we needed. The driveway was manageable but trailer needed to be backed in. I would recommend putting some markers on the side of the drive to help guide the backing in especially at night. We loved it and we hope to be back again soon.

Enjoyed just getting away from everything, I brought my boat and was able to keep in boat dock , so nice just to walk down to the water step on your boat and go

The house was just like the photo’s except better. It is in a quiet area. The neighbors were very nice. The house is special, even the door knobs are unique. We really enjoyed our stay. The lake is beautiful. On one of the cooler days we drove to the state park. It is a beautiful area and a sweet little town.

Second year in a row at this property. Awesome lake cottage on a quiet bay. Plenty of room for relaxing near the water. Great outdoor space with fire pit, large covered dock including power and boat lift.

Everything you need to have a fish camp.

I love that they allowed pets! My dogs spent hours daily on boathouse watching the fish. Very quiet in February too. Relaxing!

It was good

It was so peaceful and cozy. We took the canoe out and fished. We enjoyed coffee in the rockers looking out at the water. The hosts were fabulous. The king bed was firmer than we like but overall it was a fabulous getaway!

We stayed for four nights to play golf on the Robert Trent Jones Trail course and Fisher Hollow was our headquarters and refuge. Great fire pit area. The decor was very “cabiny” with mosaic tiles throughout. Used the grill each night. Our dogs love it too! We will be back!

We came out to lake guntersville for a fishing tournament. The house was very nice. I really enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking coffee before heading out fishing The boat slip made heading out fishing every morning convenient. I was able to run my outboard all the way to the slip and just needed the trolling motor to get it into the slip. There was power to the boat slip for charging batteries at night. The boat slip didn't have lights but that was very minor inconvenience. Overall it was a great time I would definitely stay there again if I come back to lake guntersville

The house was just what we were hoping for. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make food. Master Bed was very comfy. Great view of the water. The Dock was great for fishing. Caught a nice 4 pound bass right under the dock. We will definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.

Enjoyed our stay very much

It was the best. Just what we needed. Perfect size. Great view. We were looking for peace and quiet along with a dock to fish from. This place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a resting vacation that is close enough to restaurants to enjoy. Will book again.

"My Happy Place"
The sign over the inside of the front door
describes it to perfection "My Happy Place".
I was looking for peace and quiet and that is
exactly what I found. I could sit in the swing on the pier for hours. The pictures online don't do justice to how truly beautiful the place was. My 13 year old grandson fished and fished some more. He loved the kayak and paddle boat. We both enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave. Perfection is the only way to describe our experience.
