Comfortable and pleasant stay.

Very spacious unit in a great location. Very comfortable bed and generally well equipped. A short stroll to shops and coastal walkway.

The kitchen did not quite meet our expectations. Pots and pans but no Benchtop oven with hot plates as advertised.

Walking Distance to the Netball Courts

Location Location Location. We were down for a netball tournament and on a previous trip, finding parking at the courts was incredibly difficult. This time, I looked for somewhere within walking distance of the courts and this property is perfect. 5-10 mins max to get there, via a delicious coffee cart next to the car yard.

A beautiful spacious place to stay.

It is a wonderfully spacious and immaculate property with room for a "non-couple" to spread out.

A couple of terse interchanges with the host could have been handled better. A note for booking.com (relates to any property, not only specifically this one): when the payment has been received, it would be nice if the host sent a quick message confirming where the key will be in the event that they are not there, as even if they have been there before, it may have been some time before and they may not know or remember every detail. It would have been useful to have known the hosts' contact phone numbers before entering the property. In this situation, we arrived about 6.45pm after a 9 hour day and were unable to locate the key. None of the family members were home and that s fine, but on previous occasions, there had always been someone there to let us in. We were not told where to find the key and spent an hour trying to find neighbour who might know the hosts' phone number. Unfortunately, since booking.com is based in the Netherlands, contacting the host was via email to booking.com and forwarded to the host but Holland is currently 13 hours behind NZ standard time and therefore not open. Obviously, once we were in the room there was an information sheet giving the host's contact details, but we needed them so we actually could get in. Fortunately, this place was also listed with another booking medium and when we explained our situation to them they passed on a contact number. We were very grateful for this. We would definitely stay here again if necessary, and hope things go well for the host.

very relaxing

quiet part of town for a couples getaway, but still close drive to central city. small gestures were very welcoming and lovely. owners didn’t mind us storing our bikes in their garage during our stay. very clean, loved having a separate sitting area off the bedroom and a kitchen. everything you need really

AMAZING GEM

This is rather a fantastic place to stay. People say as good as being home well this unit is even better than that. We will definitely be staying again

Can only recommend!!

Exceeded my expectations. The place was spotlessly clean and is very spacious. Much bigger than it seems on the photos. The bed is super comfortable and Sharon was a very lovely and helpful host.

very nice place. Bed was comfortable and thank you to the hosts who put a toppa pad on the sofa bed. apparently this was far more comfy.

Home away from home. Beautifully appointed. Quiet, peaceful, great location.

It was great that there was a separate bed in the lounge. Very quiet, suburban setting. Everything was there that we needed and more. Great communication from owners. High quality furnishings. Loved the pets coming and going and the family feel.
