Perfection.

The most perfect location with the most perfect host. Everything about Residenza Laurum made it the best place I stayed at in Italy. Lucia is warm, helpful and served the most amazing breakfast on the patio. The rooms were magnificently decorated and even had aircon ( a rarity in these parts). I had the most beautiful stay and can't wait to return.

Ein Paradies der Gastfreundschaft – Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt!

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser bezaubernden B&B Unterkunft war absolut wunderbar! Lucia, die Gastgeberin, ist eine sehr liebenswürdige Personen. Wir wurden mit Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft empfangen. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und strahlen eine heimelige Atmosphäre aus, die sofort ein Gefühl von Entspannung vermittelt. Jedes Detail wurde sorgfältig bedacht, um den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker! Mit frischen, regionalen Produkten und selbstgemachten Kuchen zauberte die Gastgeberin ein köstliches Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Es gab eine Auswahl an regionalen Marmeladen, frisch gebackenem Kuchen und Gebäck. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeberin Lucia. Sie war stets bereit, Ausflugstipps zu geben, Restaurants zu empfehlen oder einfach nur ein freundliches Gespräch zu führen. Man spürt, dass sie ihre Gäste wirklich willkommen heißen und ihnen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bereiten möchte. Alles in allem können wir diese B&B Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, der unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen hat. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Séjour parfait chez Lucia

Lucia nous a offert un accueil très chaleureux! Elle est bienveillante et disponible, donne de bons plans pour visiter le lac de cômes, recommande de très bon restaurants. Chambre propre, bien aménagé avec tout le nécessaire ( draps, serviettes, gel douche...) L'accès à une terrasse et à un magnifique jardin avec vu sur les montagnes est vraiment plaisant. Bon emplacement ( proche de l'embarcadère et de la gare) Place de parking gratuite et privé disponible sur place Petit déjeuner sucré-salé copieux...un vrai régal ! Logement parfait pour visiter le Lac de Cômes, je recommande !!!

PERFECT STAY!!

We really enjoyed a lot our staying here, the room was very nice, clean , very well equipped for our 11 month old baby, good breakfast , beautiful garden ; Lucia, the host, thought of every detail for making our stay as enjoyable as it can be, she is very kind and helpful person🙏 Also the location is great, it is very close to both train and ferry stations; It was a pity that we didn’t book all the vacation in this location. Thank you Lucia!

Beautiful quiet residence with all the touches of a lovely caring host.

Lovely renovated small b&b. Close to station. Had enough of what we needed and if we asked (within reason) we could get anything that was not provided. Very lovely host, eager to please and make your stay as good as it could be. Would plan to stay again next visit to Mandello.

Would have liked a comfortable chair in room to sit and read in but it didn’t distract from our stay. The property is on a main road and can have a little traffic noise at the peak time and weekends but again did not affect our stay.

perfect quiet, peaceful village on Lake Como with the best host ever!

the location was perfect. but the host, Lucia, was the best I’ve ever had. she went out of her way everyday to make sure we knew where we were going. She gave us so many helpful tips for touring the other villages. Excellent dinner recommendations and even made the reservations for us. She even brought me medicine one night when I became sick and the pharmacy was already closed. I can’t say enough good things about Lucia!

Honestly, probably the best place I have been in a while. Everything is just perfect - super nice accommodation that looks even better in person, not only clean but with daily cleaning (!), superb breakfast, the kindest most attentive host (thank you, Lucia!), beautiful location... really everything. We would definitely want to come back. I can't recommend this enough. <3

I liked everything about this accomodation. The house is beautiful with stunning garden. Very clean and comfy rooms, execellent breakfast. What we liked the most was our host, Lucia. Lovely person that brights up the room and she was so helpfull with detailes about transportation, locations and restaurants ( that were all top). Defenetly we will return here when we will visit lake Como next time.

Wonderful place for amazing holidays.

Totally amazing place! Lucia is a great host - you can feel that she really enjoy having new guests. She gave us all important info and tips (where to eat, where to go for a trip etc.). The place itself is fabulous - garden and rooms. We've got a very nice, spacious apartment with everything you need + 2 balconies, quiet air condition and it has been cleaned very day. Breakfast was great. The last day we had to leave early in the morning and Lucia prepared for us breakfast to go - full package of sandwiches, cakes, fruits... Mandello is beautiful and it's a great place for a one-day trips around Como lake. If we have a chance to come back, we will do it:)

Lucia is a wondeful host! She told us about all possibilities around this place and gave a lot of information (restaurants, train time-table, places to visit). She was in touch in whats app and it was very comfortable. The room was even better than on photos, with two balconies and AC. The breakfast was very good too.

Amazing stay at Lake Como

We absolutely loved our stay in this B&B! The host was the most adorable, she was always ready to help us and gave great tips regarding restaurants and things to see around lake Como. Our room was modern and clean and breakfast was super delicious. The location is excellent, only minutes walk from the train station. Airports, Milan and the villages surrounding Lake Como are therefore extremely accessible. I can highly recommend this accommodation!

Incredible setting and ideal location for travelling to different parts of the lake. Lucia and her family were incredibly welcoming, helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was amazing, sat in Lucia’s beautiful garden!

Lucia is incredibly friendly host! Right away she suggested us some sight seeings which were very beautiful and must see in the region! She also suggested some very good restaurants in the city and always made a wonderful breakfast with the freshest ingredients! The room was very nice and clean!

Must-stay b&b at lake como

Everything, but most of all the host Lucia. We were helped by her enormously with our day planning. The breakfast is great with lots of homemade food. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and very clean.

Honestly, nothing at all! This b&b exceeded all expectations. If I am obliged to nit-pick, the wifi signal was not very strong in our upstairs room.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Lucia's house. She was kind, sweet and caring making sure we are satisfied. She gave us good advices about the activities in the area. Also we could rent a bike for free, which was great. The lake is just 5min walk, train station 2min, parking at the property. The accomodation itself was perfect for us, spacious comfortable rooms, tasty breakfasts, nice seating outside. We recommend to all!

Super nice B&B with the greatest host

We had a lovely stay of 3 nights in the B&B of Lucia. She is the most welcoming and friendly host you can imagine. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. With small kids you can visit the other villages by train super easy and Lucia has plenty of recommendations to share !

Where to begin? We came here just for a few days to enjoy the beautiful lake Como. The B&B we stayed in was really beautiful and the surroundings were amazing..but what really made our stay wonderful, was Lucia. She is so kind and helpfully she really made us feel at home and she is more than deserving of this high rating!

Great place to visit the Como Lake

Lucia's B&B is everything you need for a great holiday in the Lake Como. The place is walking distance from the train station and it is very accesible if you come by Car. The room and the bathroom were very tidy and Lucia's provided us with so many tips and advices in the area. She was very helpful and caring through the whole stay. We followed her recommendation of going from Mandello del Lario to Varenna by bike and it was a lovely ride by the lake. We saw many cyclist in the area. With a faded veneer of old money gentility, picturesque Victorian gardens and lakeshore restaurants, Lake Como is well worth a visit and if you go there you can't miss Lucia's B&B.

I really think everything was perfect! We both loved this place and we will definitely come back !

Lucia was the best host ever! Breakfast made by her was simply delicious! Room was nice and clean and the view from balcony amazing. The B&B is located near the train station and few minutes by foot to city center (lake). I highly recommend that place !
