The apartment was nice with a spacious bathroom and a decently equipped kitchen. The AC came in very handy.
Although it's mentioned that it's located above the town and might not be accessible with all cars due to a dirt road , I think a bit more transparency would do them good. Fact is that the aforementioned dirt road is hardly accessible by car at all. Unless one is a seasoned off-road driver, I'd say nobody going on vacation there would manage to navigate this road without getting stuck or damaging their car. This means that you have to leave your car at the edge of town somewhere on the road, which sometimes required some improvisation. Then you either gotta call them to pick you up or you walk about 10 minutes on a tiny, steep trail which is partly overgrown and can be slippery due to loose pebbles on the ground. Doing so when one is not that mobile on foot or maybe with small children or when it's dark, is quite an adventure.
Us being a young and relatively fit couple, it didn't pose an issue but it sure surprised us because the description didn't do a good job at setting the expectation which is why I wanted to detail the location here.

Very nice and welcoming staff, options for both breakfast and dinner, amazing views, options for hiking, nice to be able to sit outside of your room and enjoy the lake views
People with small kids should think twice before booking as it is not the easiest place to get to on foot. A bit more varied breakfast would have been nice. The rooms were not cleaned, bins emptied and towels were changed only upon a request - over 5 nights it would have been acceptable to have at least once a room refreshment.

the location was very beautiful, amazing view of the lake. restaurant had lovely food, they let us try the traditional kitchen.
parking, as car was parked away. if you have an sub you will not be able to park up due to narrow road leading to the actual hotel.

The host did not consider us at all about canceling the night, We paid full price for two nights and slept only one night. The bed was not comfortable at all The apartment had a scorpion and we have pictures The stove was induction and we could not cook with the utensils we brought with us, we just did not update what type of stove. It was very hot until we slept .. and this after the landlord explicitly said that the rooms were cold and cozy. Just the host lied to us.

We loved the beauty and quietness of being in the mountains and that we could leave straight from our room for a hike.
This was the most comfortable apartment with a kitchenette that we stayed it. Everything is brand new and spotless. The bathroom is large and the room was spacious. The hosts are very nice and Vanessa answered immediately on whatsapp in English.
It's a little over 20 minutes to drive to Varenna from the parking lot so it's easy to drive over to visit - preferably after the day crowds leave.
There is a supermarket in town and of course the Agriturismo has it's own restaurant. Dinner was plentiful (you might want to fast all day to have room!) They even made special vegan dishes for one of us.
This didn't bother us, but I think it's important to know that from the car park it's pretty much an uphill hike - about a 400 meter walk and about 70 m elevation climb along a mule trail. The hosts can pick you up and return you to your car with your luggage through a dirt road. So every time you come back by car you get a bit of a workout. :-)
We enjoyed having 300 meters less to climb on our hike. The trail (#15) continues up the the small church, which you can see from the Agriturismo (about a 30 - 40 minute climb) and you can continue after that for another hour to Era. You can hike more to refugios (mountain huts) in the area.

The location in the mountains is beautiful. You have to park the car below and walk up a stone pathway for 10mins to get to the property. If you have luggae this will be brought up...you dont need to carry it.
There is a restaurant where you could have dinner. Its not open everyday so make sure to check before booking. The food there is very good with a set menu.
As we visited in winter we just felt the hot water wasnt warm enough.

Location is amazing. Dinner was great.
The apartment is small so every noise is going through. Beds could be improved.

Magical place, amazing surroundings. View of the mountains above and the lake below. 10 minute walk to car park. For bagage they can pick you up. Amazing restaurant on the premises (fixed menu, affordable, inform when it’s open).
Beautiful hikes right out of your door step. Refugios in the area to hike to if that’s your thing. Mandello is less touristy than Varenna, but has better restaurants.
The beds could be more comfortable (a bit springy now), an extra blanket would be nice during cool nights for people who would like to sleep with window a bit open.
Just FYI, not a complaint: I booked with a 4-day in advance free cancellation option, which had expired 20 minutes when I asked to cancel. This was rightfully denied, but it felt a bit strict. (Luckily we were able to visit after all.)
Especially considering I come to a place like this for my rest away from busy city life, sounds and to sleep in. Unfortunately, I was brutally awakened the first saturday morning at 8am by heavy machinery the floor above. We were not informed about this.

Spotless clean, perfectly equipped, gorgeus panoramas, great location, deliciois and aboundant food. A true paradise just over 1 h from Milan.
Not clear instructions for reaching the structure. I love to walk and trek so I completely don't mind if a location is not reachable by car to the very doorstep, but lack of clear and transparent instructions is not professional.

Excellent location, with very nice view, very clean and nice rooms, extreme hospitality and perfect food

Best hospitality I have ever had. Best experience as well with breakfast included and an optional homemade 8 course dinner. This is a must-stay and must-try. I would not stay anywhere else to visit Lake Como. My wife and I went on several hikes and visited several towns from this location. The view of the mountains and the lake are stunning.
If I could even come up with a downside to limit my bias, the only downside would be the walk up/down the property to my car, but if needed the host will drive you. She is always available and unbelievably nice. Like I said... best hospitality.

The Selvaggia is an entire experience in itself.
We arrived at this Agrotourism by pure chance.
But it was one of those discoveries that makes your holidays much more beautiful.
Everything in La Selvaggia is more than you can expect....................
The attention..............it is not possible to be more attentive and friendly.
The views......................it is like being inside a 360º postcard.
The food.......................almost better than the attention and the sights together.
A magical place, with very friendly people in the middle of a nature overflowing of beauty.
We will come back, for sure.
Everything was perfect.
Even the road that it is hard to take up, becomes part of the experience.
Unbeatable.
