We landed in Split airport and messaged our host and was given an address to a different apartment outside the city walls. Our pre arranged driver refused to take us to the new address resulting in a long walk dragging suitcases. This is stress not needed after a long flight. We were given 2 different excuses as to the apartment switch. Other reviewers have had this same experience. The new apartment was up 2 flights of stairs and had a difficult to manage spiral staircase inside to the bedrooms. That was the bad. The good was the new apt had 3 BR vs 2 and was still a good location despite being outside the city walls. The entrance was near the main taxi stand and bus station, some would think this desirable others maybe not. Despite it's location, the apartment was very quiet, well equipped and well located to all the sites. We were met at the location by one of the owners colleagues who was very helpful with suitcases and information. Another note is there was a problem with water temperatures while showering. No other water could be used in the apartment while anyone was showing for risk of a burn, We alerted the owners and hopefully that will be remedied. My final impression is I would recommend this apartment to others. Communication with the host was prompt. They even offered to switch us back to the other apartment the next night but it was easier to not change.

We had no idea what a perfect location this would be and how beautiful, well maintained and convenient the apartment would be.
We could walk to all the sites, the great restaurants, the open air markets, the beach and everything else Split has to offer. We never needed a car or a taxi as everything was located right outside our door.
Our host was prompt and responsive and the apartment was spot clean, plenty of space for the 4 of us to unwind after a full day.
We can't recommend this space highly enough!

Property was nice, good location, and owner arranged free parking for us( though further away than what we were told). After a few days, we realized we were not in the apartment in Diocletion’s palace which we thought we had booked. So much for the history we thought we were experiencing! Would have been nice if we had been informed by the owner of the switch. Also, bring your own soap, shampoo and paper towels.

After an hours delay in pick up because the owners sent our taxi to the wrong place, we arrived at a comfortable and well equipped apartment but slowly realised it was not the apartment we had booked! Nothing had been said! Eventually owners told us that the oven did not work in the one we had booked so they had put us into a larger flat nearby. This seems fine but we were particularly keen to stay inside Diocletion's palace and would have put up with a non functioning oven if told at start. However, the new apartment was OK (although some of the finish poor) and we enjoyed our stay.

All around fantastic
The property is centrally located inside the Palace but you really can not hear any of the hussle of anything going on outside. The apartment is EXACTLY as pictures look. Laura, the property manager was SO great. She texted before I arrived and several times during our stay. We rented a boat out of Tigir and when I asked to help arrange transportation she and her husband ended up driving us there.. which was great since we never would have found where we were going! Her husband also woke up early on a sunday to drive us to the airport.
The apartment has everything you could want or need and is right in the middle of restaurants, bars, sights....
I highly recommend.

Great location; above and beyond customer service
We had originally rented the two bedroom apartment. Upon being picked up at the airport (additional fee, but well worth the cost), we were told that there was a water leak in our rental. Our driver explained that we’d instead have 2 one bedroom apartments in the same building.
Currently there is renovation work at the entrance to the property. It’s a short walk through it and the rooms are with that walk and the walk up the stairs with luggage to get to the rooms.
The location is ideal; on the square. Yet, it’s not too noisy as the windows are newer and the walls are thick. Both apartments were very nicely decorated. Our driver was a wealth of knowledge about the area; its history and places not to miss on our short stay. It’s within walking distance of the piers where the small cruise ships dock, which was a plus for us.

Fantastic, well appointed modern apartment in the heart of the Diocletian Palace.
We could not have been happier with the accommodations, neighborhood, the proprietors and their communicativeness and help along the way with answering questions, booking excursions, etc. This will be our go-to apartment for the next visit to Split.

Great location
Excellent property. Just be aware like almost all properties in old sections of European cities there are no elevators and stairs are narrow. So, you will need to travel up stairs to reach the room. Not an issue at all for my family (wife and I are 48 years of age and two teenagers). But, may be an issue for others.

Beautiful Apartment Missing Small Touches
At top of narrow 3 story stairs this apartment is excellently laid out and equipped. It provides a restful refuge in the heart of the old town and is highly recommended. Small easy improvements would include two sets of keys and an introductory amount of coffee and milk.

Perfect stay in Old Town
This was our first time in Split. I didn’t realize that I had booked an apartment in the old town. It turned out to be so convenient and perfect for our stay. Lara, our host, was wonderful!! She was always accessible by text and by phone.
The apartment was well maintained, clean, and updated. Beds were all very comfortable and even had a king size bed in one of the rooms. This was a big plus for us! AC worked great too! Although the apartment was inside the walls and packed with tourists, our apartment never got loud. It was a very nice quiet retreat after being out all day.
I would definitely recommend the apartment! Close to one of the entrance and do not have to walk very far with your luggage within the walls. Thank you, Lara for being a wonderful host!
