After booking, I received an email mentioning potential noise from a nearby club, but the booking was non-refundable, leaving no option to reconsider. The noise from the club was exceptionally loud, far beyond acceptable legal levels, and no earplugs were provided as promised. Additionally, a gym upstairs caused constant thumping noises throughout the day. The property itself felt outdated, with dirty walls, and linens stored in the reception area, adding to the uncomfortable atmosphere. The mattress was worn out, and I had to place the kettle on the floor since there was no available plug at desk level. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent location, easy to find and not too far of a walk from the main bus terminal, leave the building walk across the street and your in Old Town, good value, Sandra made check in and communication was superb! Loved having a twin single room at a reasonable price! Thanks for a great stay in Spilt! Highly recommend

This was an amazing place, from the location to its staff it was perfect! Very clean Nice and cozy room Comfortable bed TV great Desk space great Bathroom clean and spacious Big spacious closet as well Sandra was amazing and super helpful. The hotel is steps from main shopping stores -super close to everything really. Only little thing is that other guests were extremely loud past midnight so I kept on waking up and it was annoying. It happened almost every day out of the 6 days that I stayed. If I return to Split, I would def book this place again!!!!

Most of all, I liked the location. In the city center, close to everything. The room is clean, the staff is friendly. A little noisy in the evenings, but not disastrous. It is not always convenient to have no staff at the reception, although the keys were with me. But on the day of departure, I did not even ask to leave my luggage because I was not sure that I would not come to the closed doors. But in general - excellent.

There was a kettle and mugs but no tea/coffee etc with it, which was a bit disappointing. The room was pretty but I hadn't realised the building was above a type of club? We were told music would stop at 11pm, I think it was later than that but not too late and we only stayed one night so no biggie. The hotel were prompt in emailing us after booking to find out our flight, arrival time and ask if we had transport arranged, they booked us a taxi to meet us at the airport, which after a late and delayed flight was really appreciated! Also there was a lovely cleaning lady who rushed after us when we had forgotten a few items. The location seemed very good too

This is a great location, never more than 5 mins walk from anywhere in the old town. The rooms are simple but clean, solid and has everything you could need. Air con great, very quiet. As others mentioned, on Friday and Saturday nights the pub downstairs finishes at 2am, but we were out until then anyway and the other nights it is offered to move us to another upgraded hotel if the noise would be an issue but we didn’t. It really was great. I was travelling with friends but wouldn’t happily take my wife back (who has exacting standards).

It is 150 metres from the old city, there is now view from the ground floor. The rooms are great with a very large bed. An excellent shower in a very good bathroom. The maid service is very good as is the reception. There is a disco next door that was very loud in our room, but it starts at 21:00 and stops at 23:00 on the dot. I would stay at this hotel again.

The Villa Olea Hotel is in a great location - basically 5 minutes from every where. The room was very nice, clean, well furnished, nice private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning worked well - and it was hot when we stayed there. The price was competitive. We would have preferred breakfast being provided. The staff was helful, accommodating and spoke English.

The property was in very close proximity to all the major sites and restaurants. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and very clean. All rooms are on the first level and beneath them is a Bar that operates until 11.20 ish each night. The music and noise from the bar was very loud. We were exhausted from our activities and the noise did not bother us. There is no parking for the villa but we were able to park at a public garage within 5-10 mins walk from the hotel.

Staff was friendly and the location is great. But if you are planning to get any sleep before 23:00 it is not gonna happen. Downstairs is a pub that is open 21-23 ? And soundproofing is nonexistent. Spent 3 nights here and loud noise stopped at 23:00 and from there It was silent.

The only downside is that it is located next to a pub so if you want an early nights sleep it might not work for you. I wasnt too bothered by the noise as it often ended by 11pm. The only issue I had was there was rarely anyone at reception so if you had any questions or problems there was nobody there to ask. However they were quick to answer email. Overall a pleasant stay.

Handily located hotel, close to the Old Town on the bus station side. We were arriving later than the 10pm cut-off for check-in, staff stayed up late for us, much appreciated. Plenty of traffic noise in the morning plus 10am check-out a little too keen. Otherwise, convenient, affordable and few frills - working WiFi, though, clean, modern bathroom.

Just a couple of ideas for the owners of Villa Olea. You have the most wonderful location on the edge of the old town. It is so handy to the ferry and train and the beautiful harbour and its attractions. However I dont understand why you provide an ekectric jug,cups and saucers without tea or coffee. Many travelers also like an extra pillow and please dont sit with your mate and his yapping dog on the steps outside the front door smoking. The smoke permeates the entire place.

A little hard to find, as its a hotel in part of a building, so there is a very small sign for it on the outside wall along with quite a few others. There was a girl with long blonde hair on reception both days I was there, she was lovely and very welcoming. The room was small but had everything I needed, and was quiet for sleeping. Would definitely stay there again.

Location of the hotel is brilliant. It is easy walking distance to everything, 10/15mins to the bus station, 20 mins to the beach, 5mims to the harbour and just across the road from the old town. The reception staffs are brilliant and most helpful and friendly. The receptionists are not always there so make you ask any questions beforehand (they both work odd hours). Only hand fall is, there is no toilet/ bathroom facilities for you to use after you've checked out

We spent four days at the Villa Olea. The location was great and the room was exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, our room was right off the lobby and we could hear any and all interactions that took place (phone conversations, people coming and going, etc.). All rooms are on the ground floor and our window looked out onto a busy street so we felt uncomfortable opening the blinds - this led to it feeling a bit like a dungeon. The hotel is also situated right above a bar which was quite noisy well into the night. Finally, the room wasnt cleaned at all during our stay; we werent expecting it to be cleaned each day, but the offer of new towels at some point would have been nice.

I got moved to another property. When I arrived for a thurs / fri / sat night stay Vera said that on 2/3 of the nights I would be bothered by the bar with live music that had just opened up underneath. Vera took everything in hand and moved me to another property. I was very happy there. Its great having a kettle in the room so you can get yourself a drink, I used the sink as a make shift fridge and had an small breakfast sorted each day.

Great apartment based in the centre of Split. Room was nice. Staff are very friendly and helped us locate the best places to visit in the city. Looking to return again at some point soon. Definitely recommend.
