The space
Great little town house with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have queen beds and the other room fitted with a king single and a trundle bed. The place gets plenty of natural light, considering it's a semi detached townhouse unit. I'm sure you'd have a lovely time should you choose to book with us in Christchurch!

The neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is relatively quiet at nights. You are right in the heart of the city, so buses, taxi's and Uber services are available.

Please NOTE there is a small trundler bed in the 3rd bedroom (under the singled bed) this has been listed as a floor mattress. If you wish to use this bed please us know know upon booking.
There is double garage that is seperate to the house that the owner will sometimes require access to. The owner will of course notify any guests if they come onsite.

Family/work stay for our family of four. Lovely clean warm house. Great location, everything we needed in the house.

A very neat and clean town house within walking distance to the CBD. Had everything we needed as a family of 4. Off-street parking was a bonus and access was easy.

Perfect for the Christchurch Marathon
I booked this property to stay in over the weekend of the Christchurch Marathon, which I was running. It's perfectly located, about a kilometre from the start line in a quiet area, nicely kept and just what we needed to have a nice long weekend a way and a good race.

Central Christchurch apartment
A comfortable place but a building site next door. Everything was comfortable but the bed top sheets weren’t the correct size and couldn’t be tucked in. The toaster and frypan were very old and in some areas the cleaning needed attention. The outside of the property had weeds everywhere and the towels were also in need of replacing- not all just some. Overall a comfortable stay but just some more effort needed to present the property well.

We were disappointed with this accommodation, it was adequate for a couple, I am not sure it would have been adequate for more. There was insufficient equipment in the kitchen to do any serious self catering, very few dishes to cook in. The iron was a disgrace, unusable and needed replacing. I cannot believe this had not been reported before. The property could do with a refresh and some items replaced (one of the settees had a big stain on it where something had been spilled) The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, with clean sheets and towels. Location was convenient for walking into the city with a good Pub doing good food close by. Someone needs to show some care and attention to the property and lift it to its full potential.

Hapi Family visit from 8/10 to 12/10 /2019
1. Leading up to our stay, I received prompt responses to my inquiries and good information.
2. The location of the property was central and handy to everything that we wanted to see during our visit.
3. The information about gaining access to the property and where to find and use things in the house was very good. I received electronic information and a hard copy was also at the house.
3. Clean linen was provided and the beds were made up nicely, there was also mini-toiletries, so that was a nice touch.
4. It was very handy having the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.
5. Unfortunately the property was a bit more run down, than the photos led us to believe.
6. Although it was very tidy, the carpets had not been vacuumed and there was no cleaning products for us clean with.
Overall we were very grateful to have had a nice place to stay and we were very comfortable. But the house could use a spruce up i.e. weeding the courtyard, cleaning floors etc.

After our travels thru the South Island we have stayed in a wide variety of types of accommodation. This unit was clean and well appointed but quite small for our family. Well positioned and great for 2-3 guests.

A little gardening/window cleaning would help this property be even more attractive. We loved how close it was to the central city and to a great pub (Pomeroys).

The unit initially appears to be neat and tidy but the shower needs a good clean and two of the beds had blood stains on the duvets, while someone had obviously wiped their nose on the sheets in the single room. James, the property manager did arrange for clean bedding when asked.
The unit is centrally located, but could do with some extra attention such as weeding and checking why water is seeping under the wall and on to the carpet when it rains, also replacing broken curtain hooks.
