With excellent transport links, this ground floor apartment couldn’t be in a better location for exploring the Northumberland Heritage Coast, Hadrian’s Wall and Newcastle.. 1 step to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: 32" Freeview TV, Electric Woodburner
Kitchen: (1 Step), Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Single (3ft) Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only)
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: (1 Step), Bath With Shower Over, Toilet, Bath Seat. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. Small enclosed yard with garden furniture. Bike/surfboard store. On road parking. No smoking.. Only 500 yards from the beach, Sandancer is ideally placed in South Shields and close to the local metro for venturing out should you wish to leave your car behind. The lovely promenade was regenerated and now has cafés and a funfair lining the lovely long sandy beach backed by sand dunes. Sandancer is a ground floor apartment with free parking to the side, making it an ideal base for those wishing to explore the area and beyond.
The famous Ocean Road is easily accessed, where there is an abundance of Indian cuisine to choose from. The town is also home to a large park where free concerts and events are held. The Great North Run finishes in South Shields so you may have seen the seafront often on television. Marsden Rock is nearby and has a little pub built into the rock, a quirky setting for a drink. Arbeia Roman Fort is worth a visit and the Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is ideal for all ages. Just through the Tyne Tunnel and you will shortly be in Tynemouth with beaches, aquarium, abbey and lots of lovely shops, cafés and restaurants. Travel further north, you can spend a day exploring the Northumberland Heritage Coast and inland you will come to Hadrian’s Wall or the National Park. Northumberland and Tyneside is a diverse area with beaches, moors, hills and valleys where you are guaranteed to find something for all ages and tastes. Fishing can also be found nearby. There is a metro station 1 mile from the property. Beach 500 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
