This is a family cottage at O'Connor's Point, on the rural eastern side of Indian Lake. In 2007, the cottage was built replacing the original "Zettler Cottage" built 1927. It is just south of O'Connor's Point, near the former site of O'Connor's Landing, and
can be reached via the Covered Bridge which crosses the south fork of the Little Miami River. The lake is the headwaters for the Great
Miami River.

It rests along 6000 acre Indian Lake facing west, green space to the north, and farm land with a network of country roads behind it for an early
morning jog, walk, or trip on bikes during wonderful sunrises to the
red covered bridge, just 1.5 miles away. Great lake and sunset
views will be enjoyed from the lakefront covered porch and sunny patio. In 2024, this patio was completely replaced, and now has 4 levels of lake views via the porch, the dining and gathering level, the bar and fire pit level, and then the lakeside level for water’s edge seating. You’re really going to love it.

It is fully furnished. Four bedrooms, each with a full bath, and a first floor half bath, means a very comfortable stay for 8-10 people. All four bedrooms have a full bathroom (new for 2021), thus offering four full suites. A large recreation room is above garage with a flat panel TV. The main family room has a new 75" TV and the bedrooms have TV's as well. The kitchen has granite counter tops, an island, wet bar, and bead-board cabinetry.

Indian Lake is a fisherman and boater's paradise. Fishing,
boating, tubing, swimming, and water skiing are all permitted on the
lake. There is extra parking for cars, boats and boat trailers right next to the cottage. A complimentary Universal Tesla EV charger (coming in 2025) is mounted in the garage. It will charge both Tesla and non-Tesla EV's.

Although summer is fun in the sun, many locals regard the fall
as the best time of year, thanks to the tranquility along with the
gorgeous fall foliage. For the winter, it is located 15 minutes
from Mad River Mountain Ski Resort and there is plenty of room for
snowmobiling. With spring comes the fisherman and many participate
in the lake's numerous bass tournaments. Saugeye, a fish similar to walleye, are also sought after and have gained the lake national
attention.

Great house, fully stocked with dishes and the best view and outdoor spaces! Spent the entire trip outside. Fun fishing, paddling and at the fire pit. Love the king beds for everyone!

The outside was were we were morning noon and night. coffee in the rockers, games at the table, dinner el-fresco, sunset and there was a fire pit, but we did not use it.

This place was perfect for us. Large enough and enough bedrooms/baths to accommodate 5 of us. Town and restaurants just 10 minute drive away. Setting is beautiful on lake. Enjoyed a campfire.

It was a perfect place for our gathering. We had plenty of room to enjoy each others company. It has wonderful views of the lake. There was a fishing tournament that day and got to see all the boats take off for their spots after they were released. Pretty neat to see!

We had a siblings weekend and had a wonderful time. The deck/porch was a special place for peace and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked and provided us with all we needed.

Perfect weather and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset, having campfires and the cool mornings! Had a few hic cups the first day but the owner responded pretty quickly. Overall a nice stay!

As soon as we arrived, we loved the setting. Couldn't wait to sit on that back porch. Had a few problems minor problems, but we had a wonderful time. Thinking of renting this house again. The high light for me was getting a photo of an eagle flying across the water and grabbing a huge fish.

Nice layout with every bedroom has it's own bathroom. Piles of dead bugs outside doors an in garage. Trash can was full and full of maggots. Could not get the main TV to work. The grill was filthy and falling apart. I highly recommend you bring your own bath towels, because they want you wash and dry and fold towels if you use theirs, but how do you know if the people before you didn't just dry them. I don't blame the owners but they should check to see if the cleaning service is doing their job.

The Zettler Cottage is perfect for families. My kids and grandkids had a wonderful time. The new handrails leading to the lake and boat dock was a pleasant surprise for us older people. We will go back next year. This has been our 7th year renting the cottage.

We have rented this property many times and are never disappointed. They always have upgrades that keep the property beautiful. Only problem is it is hard to reserve it because it is always booked and if you have been there you know why. Thank you we had a wonderful week.

We have rented this cottage for years. The house is perfect for a weekend getaway. We were looking into booking it again in September but the property is not available from what we can tell. Also, I did not receive an access number to enter the house. Luckily the side door was unlocked and we were able to get in.

We have stated this property multiple times. On this last visit my mother, sister, family friend, and adult children stayed for 3 nights. During our previous stays, the property was exceptionally clean and organized. However, on our latest stay the property was not as clean as we had hoped or expected. There were mold covered coffee grounds left in the two coffee makers. The refrigerator in the garage was absolutely filthy. The bathrooms looked like they had a once over instead of a good cleaning. There were also a lot of cobwebs on the ceilings/walls, food splatters on cabinets, and dirt on the walls. Additionally, on our stay the water was very cloudy, whitish brown, and looked as if there were sediments in it. Despite running the water for a significant amount of time the cloudy brown color and sediments remained.

Perfect view of the lake and plenty of space for everyone. Fire pit was a nice amenity on a chilly Thanksgiving evening. The owners provided a croquet set, football, basketball and other outdoor games which were all used

Four couples total stayed here for a long weekend in early October. The house was clean and exactly as described. The owners/property managers were easy to work with and quickly responded to questions. It is a great set up right on the lake with great views of the water, and we had a great weekend. All of the bedrooms were comfortable with private baths for each one. The living area has a huge television and we were able to watch the Buckeye's win over Michigan State. We will definitely be looking to rent this place again for a future getaway.

I used to stay for weeks of vacation at Indian Lake as a kid in the old cottages at O'Connor's Landing starting in the late 1950's. It was disappointing when the Lodge burned down in the 1980's and eventually the cabins were gone and replaced by the large houses. I stayed in the cabin that was here before the house was built. Not the same nostalgic feel to everything, especially the Point, but what a great house and Lake to visit! This house is beautiful and the sunsets at night are wonderful. We rented a pontoon boat at Spend-a Day Marina and had a blast cruising the lake and visiting the Tilton Hilton via water docking! I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great family vacation or weekend away. You can do as much or as little as you want and be relaxed. We caught lots of big catfish right from the backyard too! The wrap around porch and firepit at night was a hit as well. The old photos and historical information provided is very interesting. Great place to stay and we will definitely be back again next year!

We love visiting Indian Lake and staying at this beautiful lake front home. We appreciate the kitchen being fully stocked with pots/pans/appliances and surround sound for music indoors and out. We bring our boat each time and enjoy the ease of docking in front of the house. When not boating we have enjoyed swimming/floating in front of the home. Our first night always involves pizza & pasta from La Pizzeria and a visit to Hurley Farms for fresh produce.
