The location is absolutely stunning, waking up in the morning to see the crystal clear waters of the bay. A truly romantic spot, so much so I proposed to my girlfriend on the steps leading to the sea. The 2 tavernas within walking distance served great, fresh food at good prices. The hosts are a wonderful family and messaged to check we had everything we needed. We have so many memories from this trip to last a lifetime and how generous people can be. Thank you Helen and Nick.

A perfect stay in every way

Reluctant to say how good this place is as would like to keep it quiet!!! However……it is stunning. A private slice of paradise. If you want a stunning view, peace and quiet, a couple of tavernas in walking distance, excellent facilities and a very generous supply of goodies upon your arrival then this is the place for you. Private access direct in to the sea via rocks in to fairly shallow water, fab outdoor shower and BBQ facilities too. Enjoyed spending evenings barbecuing and watching the boats come in for the night. Hosts Helen and Nick lovely and unobtrusive. A true home from home.

Beautuful chalet conversion in an unbeatable location

absolutely stunning and peaceful location. just so relaxing. finished to an exceptional standard and host very generous with stocking fridge and basic provisions including enough bottled water for our stay. there are no real shops anywhere other than Luxouri (20 mins) so shop before you arrive if you are self catering. we are at the 2 tavernas each evening. both good with simple menus but the one on the hill had the most fabulous fresh fish!

Perfect!

We absolutely loved Villa Costa - the location was perfect and the villa’s setting right by the sea was brilliant. It really is a hidden gem! Helen and Nick were fantastic hosts, always responsive and happy to help. We will definitely be coming back :)

Perfect get-away location at secluded bay

Helena and Nils provided every comfort possible - they even stocked the fridge! Everything was super clean and charmingly decorated. Our main highlight were the outdoor deckchairs, the beautiful garden and the private stairway to see sea.

Hidden gem.

Super-friendly, helpful hosts and a wonderful location. The villa commands a great position overlooking a beautiful bay and you simply walk into the sea from your own private steps.

Wonderful quiet and calm place right at the crystalline waters of the Atheras bay.

Fantastic hosts (friendly and helpful) meeting us upon arrival, providing us even with some food-supplies for the first day. Tiny but new and very nice and clean property at the best possible location overlooking the wonderful Atheras bay with an own entrance to the crystalline waters (this is not suitable for people with some mobility restrictions, but the nice sandy beach with a smooth entrance is in a distance of about 100 m). Two excellent tavernas within 250 m.

Rather small and hard bed - this is, however, rather a matter of personal preference. Nothing else at all...

Villa Costa - Kefalonia's piece of paradise!

Villa Costa is amazing. The location, nature, garden, and property give you a sense of paradise. Private access to the sea and great sunbeds with a breathtaking view. The beach is also close, as well as two tavernas with fresh fish :). The host was waiting for us with a key, and plenty of food, fruits, coffees, and other refreshments.

A cosy little gem that survived the worst hurricane ever!

Absolutely everything. Helen was the most thoughtful hostess and even offered to re-accommodate me and take me to the airport after the cyclone hit. There was no need to worry. Despite the intensity of the storm the villa remained sturdy and I felt secure. With no water nor power I still experienced the most amazing 2 days (after the storm hit) from this secluded location and will definitely return. The other reviews are spot on. Exceptionally clean, all appliances you’d need including a little Nespresso coffee machine. Lovely views from the bedroom waking up to the sound of the sea just a short hop below the lovely garden. Paradise doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you Helen and Nick. See you next year!!!

Perfect

Villa Costa is heaven on earth. If you like silence, nature, the sound of the waves, the sea at your doorstep, animals, this is the place for you. We recharged our batteries there and we are grateful for finding such a beautiful and tranquil place. Helen and her son were really nice and kept in touch with us to make sure we are more than ok. Thank you for everything and see you soon! :)
