Cleaning and Sanitizing Practices in Response to the Current Environment
We have drastically expanded our sanitizing efforts. We are following all CDC, OHA recommendations and going above and beyond by implementing AHLA American Hotel Lodging Association -Stay Safe. The first change we made is the home has been treated with a preventive treatment (Preventx24/7). This drastically reduces the ability for germs and virus to adhere to surfaces in the first place.
We are using EPA certified disinfectant as a primary surface cleaner. Lastly and the biggest change is the entire home will be sanitized upon exit of the cleaning staff, with the use of a professional cold fogger. This sanitizes all surfaces providing a much greater level of protection.

3 bedroom 3 Bath condo, located at Whalers Point on the Seaside Bluff. This home has STUNNING oceanfront views of the Pacific Ocean including views of the cove in seaside, cape disappointment, rolling waves coming into miles of the sandy seaside beach, all while watching active surfers from a cat's perch view from above. During Whale watching season you can see whales spouting within yards of the shore line, not to mention the occasional dolphin, porpoise, seal, sea lion, or any number of seabirds. Wildlife in is abundance year round.
The sunsets are stunning throughout all the seasons. Once it is dark, the night lights of seaside and fishing boats twinkle on the horizon as the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks below, envelope the true essence of the beach.
This Condo is atop of the 3rd floor all on one level just steps from an elevator making this unit ADA accessible. The condo is well appointed with new furnishings, linens and comfortable beds. Extra touches of cozy throws and pillows to snuggle up in front of the fireplace whether that be in the great-room or Master Bedroom.
The kitchen is well stocked and has spices and equipment to prepare gourmet meals. The true chef appreciates the upscale Kitchen Aid gas stove for even temperature cooking! If preparing a large meal over a Holiday weekend there is a second oven to aid in your preparation! There is formal dinning for 6 and Dishes for 8. The large kitchen counter is excellent for Buffet serving, quick snacks or breakfast.
This location is ideal with the spectacular views, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the promenade; but close enough to access by choice. It is a leisurely 1/2 mile walk to the beach through a lovely neighborhood before reaching the famous Seaside cove a known surfing destination!
Out the front door is the Tillamook Trail head with the iconic hike (6.3 miles) to Indian Beach in Ecola State park .The terrain is rugged, gorgeous with filtered views through forest branches of the Pacific Ocean. This location allows you to visit many of the Northern Coast gems including many State Parks and Museums. Several Beach towns are close enough to make the short trip- Astoria, a quaint town with wonderful shops, craft breweries, museums- it is rich with history, Gerhardt which includes a 18 hole golf course and Cannon Beach, home of the famous Haystack Rock, a well known landmark.
Things to do include a WIDE variety- hiking, surfing, golfing, horse back riding, biking, shopping, dinning, helicopter tours, Bi plane rides, kayaking, clamming (in-season) -Bumper cars, miniature golf, Carousel and many other carnival games at the Seaside Funland Arcade, zip-lining, Museum and State Park explorations.
Some the best times are the leisurely walks on the expansive Seaside Beach (1/2 mile down the road) looking for perfect seashells and sand dollars or a stroll along the promenade. You may elect to just stay put in the condo and enjoy the spectacular views out the large windows of waves, surf, sand and city, or occasionally watching the resident bald eagle soaring below as it makes it way to its nest in neighboring trees of Tillamook Head. All the beach has to offer with a large selection of activities awaits you!!

The condo is lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the deck each evening, then preparing dinner in the very functional and well-appointed kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms is an ensuite, which we adults appreciated. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a great stay. The location was very close to both Cannon Beach and Seaside, but far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxing. The view from the rooms and the lanai is spectacular. The Kitchen and dining room were great for family time. We hope to stay here again the next time we’re in Oregon.

Our 3-generation family and dog has been trying to find the "perfect" beach place for a number of years. I was hoping this was it! It is NOT the usual condo. This lovely spot has an ocean view looking North in Seaside's Southern side - on the beginning of the trail over Ecola Park. It takes some planning to get to the sandy beach. The young'uns would have no problem but the old folks preferred to drive to it as there are only uneven rocks on the pathways to get down to the sand. Everything was perfect in the condo itself. Plenty of extra accessories for cooking -just about anything. We were there almost 6 days. Timing is everything though! While Portland had warm -hot weather, we NEVER saw the sun once. Just drizzle and fog! Luckily it was Olympics Time and we had something to watch on TV. We went outdoors whenever we could. If you have to be "stuck" in this Condo, you certainly don't mind too much. Thank you for a great residence!

We loved this property! It is so nicely laid out, decorated beautifully, the beds are very comfortable, the linens are so soft, and the location was perfect!
It is located at the end of the road at the top of a hill and very quiet. The views from the condo were dreamy. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and sipping our coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sun set over the ocean.
If you enjoy a good hike there is a trailhead right outside of the main gate that was fairly easy and beautiful.
The condo is close to downtown and close to Cannon Beach. We ran into a few of the neighbors and they were so kind and happy to share the best places to eat and explore.
It was just perfect! We were so sad to leave this place and head to our next destination. We will definitely return.

This top floor condo has incredible views and is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The directions were clear and owner was responsive when I had a question. It is located south of Seaside, near Cannon Beach. Although too far to walk, it’s a short drive to lots of restaurants and shopping or various beaches. We would come back and will recommend this unit.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful quiet location, settled on top of the cliff right next to the woods. Sitting on the balcony with a drink watching and listening to the waves crash against the rocks. We had three deer show up every evening. The condo had everthing you needed, plenty of space, comfortable beds, each bedroom had there own bathroom. It was hard to leave...thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We loved our stay. The home is beautiful the views are spectacular. Our first night there we walked out on the deck to a bald eagle, deer in the back yard and whales right in front of us. It was magical. Communication with the host was great. Very responsive.

This condo is absolutely amazing! From the moment we stepped inside we were impressed with the stunning ocean views, the ample space, the perfect beach decor, the cleanliness, and the comfortable furniture. It somehow manages to create an elegant and luxurious feel while remaining cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and excellent for meal prep. The welcome binder provided great local information. The location was perfect for exploring the small towns of Seaside, Cannon Beach, and Astoria and the proximity to the gorgeous Ecola State Park was unbeatable. We would love to return and would 100% recommend to anyone!

We’re already looking at calendars for our next visit! This space was clean and comfortable. I’m a bit of a hotel snob and used to traveling for business and staying in upscale properties. This fits my standards ++. Spacious and spotless with a view that makes you feel you’re directly in the water. We enjoyed our girls trip so much and loved having our own bathrooms!

We brought our wheelchair-bound mom out for a beach getaway and this home worked very well for our needs. It allowed her a constant, unobstructed view of the ocean without having to be out in the weather, while having ample space for my three sisters and I to enjoy our time together as we cared for our mother's needs. It's located in a very quiet and peaceful area, not far from the center of Seaside, which was perfect for us.

I've been coming to Seaside and Cannon Beach every year since my own childhood (started in the early '70s). This property is easily the best I've experienced. We generally visit twice a year. We've mixed-in a few other properties just to experience something different but, none are as nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable as Cliff Haven. We'll continue to stay here as long as they will let us. ;-)

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this condos that left us with a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning ocean views off the deck. The condo's location was simply perfect, nestled in a at the top of a hill with a scenic spot that offered a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
First and foremost, cleanliness is of utmost importance to me, and I was thrilled to find the condo impeccably maintained. The attention to detail was evident throughout, making me feel instantly at ease and comfortable. Every nook and cranny was spotless.
Also, the amenities provided in the kitchen and throughout the condo were spot on.
Finally, the hiking trail right outside the property was fantastic and great way for our family to enjoy the Oregon outdoors.

For us themed tchotchkes often found in short term rentals are cheap, cutesy and off putting but not here. The framed wooden topographical map of the Tillamook Head trail is a nice touch. The trail head worth the walk is just outside the security gate. The giant sea clam shell on the hearth and the tic tax toe board with playing pieces of real sand dollars and starfish well I’ve never seen anything like that. The triptych that is hung on the living room wall is a beautiful panoramic photo of a near by beach but be sure to visit Indian Beach at low tide to see the best tide pools populated with sea anemones and star fish of all colors. The master bedroom has a swivel love seat that turns to face the fireplace or can swivel to view the sea through a large window that can be opened to let the sound of the waves in. The private bathroom has a walk in shower and a separate jacuzzi tub which you will definitely need if you walk any distance on the steep 7 mile Tillamook Trail! The kitchen as others have described has everything you will need. We made omelettes for breakfast in the stick free frying pans and for dinner one evening used the cast iron skillet and the oven to cook fresh salmon, the steamer for green beans and the microwave to heat mashed potatoes. It was the only thing we cooked because you know we were on vacation and Seaside has lots of restaurants check out Finn’s The hosts are kind and provide all the information needed. Best short term rental ever

This was one of my favorite places we have stayed. The condo was well laid out and the decor was relaxing….lots of blue. The view of the ocean was wonderful and we were able to spot several whales. The sunsets were incredible. We would stay here again if ever in the area.
