A small farmhouse that has been restored with great taste. It lies on a plateau just outside the charming town of St-Remy; just a few minutes drive will bring you to shops, bars, restaurants and petrol stations. There are views to the Alpilles from the top of the plateau and several tracks in the surrounding nature reserve. Inside was plesantly warm during our stay (mid-March), with two reversible air-conditioning units and a lovely wood-pellet-burning stove that heated up the main rooms very quickly. The kitchen had everything you need to make a good meal and of course the view out of the window is stunning! The beds are comfortable (although we found the pillows too soft, but that's a personal thing), the rooms are dark once the shutters are closed. The upstairs bathroom door lies at the turn of the staircase so we used a torch at night. People more than 1.80m high might find the beams and the sloping ceilings upstairs a bit of a nuisance too. These are just minor niggles and did not at all spoil a wonderful week. St-Remy is well placed for trips to stunning places within one hour's drive; we went to the walled town of Aigues-Mortes, the hilltop citadel of Les Baux,an ornithological park in the Camargue to see flamingos and the magical Pont du Gard. Avignon and Villeneuve would also be reachable but we know them well already. Genevieve lives in the big farm next door and is a terrific hostess, quick to reply and solve any problems. A little French would be helpful.

Excellent stay in this cozy fully equipped clean house. Everything was perfect besides two small remarks: maybe the sofa has had its best days, and caution with big dogs outside because in the garden the wall/fence with the Alpilles reserve is only one meter high, our galgo just jumped over several times and walked himself in the nature reserve… Luckily he comes back himself after chasing some rabbits.

We had a wonderful stay at Genevieve's home. Genevieve was very helpful and greeted us when we arrived and before we left. The location is absolutely beautiful and away from the crowds, but close to the beautiful village of St. Remy. The house met all of our expectations and more. We would be very happy to come back to this wonderful place.

Everything exceeded our expectations. An incredible location, home and yard. The kids loved the pool, toys, games and being able to walk out onto the garrigue. The home is very well appointed with lovely linens and everything we could have possibly needed and more. Genevieve was a very gracious host. We would love to return soon.

This is a very comfortable house set in lovely grounds. There's a small but perfectly adequate pool, and lots of other facilities for children (table tennis, football goal, swings etc). We especially enjoyed having many outside seating areas in sun or shade. You can walk out onto the garrigue from the house, and if you are keen you can certainly walk into the town - or it's a very short drive. Genevieve could not have been more helpful with all the arrangements. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need or want 4 bedrooms.

We absolutely loved our stay in Genevieve’s amazing house. Everything was perfect - the house and amenities were probably the best we have ever had and we have booked again for next year. Great location for lovely shops and restaurants- loved it! Thank you Genevieve for your patience throughout covid and carrying the booking through to enable us to eventually stay 2 years later than planned.

Wir hatten ein paar herrliche Tage im Februar in der Provence. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen für Ausflüge, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Es liegt auf einem malerischen Grundstück in absoluter Ruhe, das Auto steht vor der Tür, und Saint-Rémy ist trotzdem nur einen Katzensprung entfernt (fünf Minuten bis zum großen öffentlichen kostenlosen Parkplatz im Zentrum). Wir wurden ausgesprochen nett empfangen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Das Objekt ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man so braucht. Zu jeder Tageszeit hat man draußen Sonnen- oder Schattenplätze, ganz wie man mag. Sehr ruhige Lage, gut zum Entspannen. Aber wenn man etwas Lärm macht (Kinder, Party), kann man auch niemanden stören. Nur die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß zu weit.

Très joli mas décoré avec beaucoup de gout et très bien équipé (cuisine, technologie, literie…) Le jardin est un enchantement et la piscine grandement appréciée. On ne se lasse pas du coucher de soleil sur la garrigue. Propriété très calme et très proche du centre de Saint-Remy. Un accueil charmant et attentionné. Bref le choix idéal pour un séjour en Provence.

Maison décorée avec goût, les extérieurs sont très agréables. Belle suite parentale au rez-de-chaussée. Climatisation douce et silencieuse. Attention aux poutres à l’étage mais on s’habitue. Manque de consignes pour l’entretien de la piscine . En résumé des vacances très agréables

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison situé à proximité des centres d’interêt de Provence... Le couple de propriétaires est adorable. Nos enfants ont beaucoup aimé la maison et Geneviève nous a mis à disposition tout le nécessaire pour notre bébé.

My husband and I spent almost a week in Geneviève's lovely home just outside of St. Rémy. The house is very well stocked with special touches that exhibit its value - lovely bath and pool towels, large applicances, clean facilities, etc. The pool, while not large, was perfect for wading about in the sun. There's a plancha-style gas grill for outdoor cooking that works very well. The house is located about 2km from the center of town, at the top of a hill - we brought bikes that made the trip to town very easy, although a bit more challenging on the climb uphill back home :). There's so much to do in the area, we didn't even scratch the surface. Geneviève is a gracious hostess, allowed us plenty of privacy but was always there in case we needed her. I would book without hesitation - we felt the price is spot on for the value and hospitality we received. We can't wait to come back again soon!

nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette annexe bien aménagée. Les chambres du haut sont mansardées et donc difficilement accessibles aux personnes de grande taille mais celle du bas ainsi que la qualité des rénovations /climatisation ont fait de cette petite maison un endroit très agréable ! De plus, les propriétaires sont charmants!

Ein schönes Haus auf einem großen Grundstück - ideal für Kinder. Pool, Wiese, Wald, Tischtennis, Fußball, Petanque etc. Dazu ein schöner Ausblick, diskrete, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Und mit Saint Remy ein sehr hübsches Städtchen vor der Tür, von dem aus wunderbar schöne Ausflüge unternommen werden können, ohne lange Anfahrten zu haben. Wir haben uns im Haus, in Saint-Rémy und der Provence sehr wohl gefühlt! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Bei unserer Ankunft stand ein schöner Obstteller bereit (Obst aus dem eigenen Garten), eine Flasche Champagner stand im Kühlschrank und Madame Blanc hat ein Fläschchen von ihrem eigenen Olivenöl in der Küche bereit gestellt. Madame Blanc wohnt direkt nebenan, aber wir haben sie nur bei der Ankunft und am letzten Tag gesehen. Sie hat uns gute Tipps zum einkaufen gegeben. Wer gerne kocht, sollte sich ein kleines Equipment mitnehmen, wie ein Brett, gute Messer, eine Reine etc.. Ansonsten ist alles da. Betten sind bezogen. Dusch- und Pooltücher sind auch reichlich da. Das Grundstück ist groß. Auf dem Plateau ist es sehr ruhig. Es gibt eine Tischtennisplatte. Saint Rémy ist eine tolle Stadt und der Mittwochsmarkt ist sehr schön. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
