What a great place, and the location was perfect.

We enjoyed meeting up with our daughter and family for a one night stay. Our grandson had a sand soccer tournament that weekend. It was a perfect place to stay and all be under one roof. The house was comfortable and meet all of our needs. We would most definitely stay there again.

A true beach cottage, clean and true to it's origin. We've stayed here twice and are planning another.

Beautiful ocean view!

The location is perfect!! Close to Divine Grounds or Brew 22 for coffee in the morning. Minutes from Bell Buoy for seafood and walking distance to Osprey Cafe for breakfast. And only like 10 mins from Cannon Beach with everything to do there.
It is an old house which comes with old house features, some good and some not as much. The kitchen is renovated and updated really nicely.
There’s an outdoor fire set up in the backyard for cooking/ roasting marshmallows which was fun and the landscaping around the house is beautiful. And lovely views of the ocean.

We had a fantastic time at this place!

We loved the boardwalk stay! Definitely a unique house- with its quirks! But we did enjoy it, and loved the view of the beach and short walk with our twins to the beach. The heat gave us trouble, but bundled up it was just fine!

Perfectly comfy, weather was nasty so it was nice to watch the ocean from inside.

It was an awesome location, and very quaint surroundings.
My only suggestion would be some pans in the kitchen.

Beautiful property and perfect location. Would stay again.

Great location, property management never responded back about iced over stairs - a baby, mom and dad fell down the stairs. Luckily no one was hurt - 10/10 on the property though. Comfortable, cozy and amazing view.

Nice, great location

The property worked for our family group but there are limitations which should be made clearer in the listing.
- Only one shower in the first floor back hall bathroom
- Upstairs 2 bedrooms are divided by a curtain, not a door and the 2nd is accessed via the first

The house was very spacious and comfy! Its interior seemed as it was the original home (except for the kitchen-updated). I love the older charm and character and reminded me of beach houses that I stayed in as a child. Could hear the ocean in the middle of the night and watch the fog roll in the morning. Walk out the front door to the beach or stroll along the Prom down to shops and restaurants, only .8 of a mile one way and very relaxing. Finding painted rock beach was a pleasant surprise. My family had a wonderful time. Groceries are close by. We did arrive about 40 minutes earlier than check in and we could not get in until exactly 4.

Great property great location lots of history to the house and the area. Great stay highly recommended this property.

This is a sweet oceanfront house in the best location in Seaside -- beautiful dunes as far as the eye can see. The house is a bit ramshackle and the furnishings seem chosen with an eye to sentimentality rather than style, but everything is clean and very comfortable. Beds are new and the kitchen has been renovated and is well equipped. Bathrooms are older. One issue is that we were not able to get the internet so work, and the fact that they had a laminated card for dealing with internet problems suggests that this is a common occurrence. Would hesitate to recommend if someone really need to be able to work from here or was traveling with teenagers!! But we were fine, and the company was responsive in attempting to help. In the end we just gave up as spending time on the phone with Spectrum was the last thing we wanted to do on our vacation! We enjoyed walking the beautiful beach, going to the Osprey Cafe and seeing the seals as the Aquarium. All in all a really nice spot in Seaside.

Great location and a very authentic beach cabin. The layout is good for families and we all had a wonderful time.

Nice house with all the amenities. Host/managing company was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to get the shower to work.

Was only able to stay for the weekend but this property has a great location. Right off the promenade, walking distance to shops and restaurants. And wont find a more beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Due to internal logistical issues the company needed us to stay in a much less desirable home for a night, while inconvenient we tried to understand. Without going into too much detail, it went from bad to worse. No call backs, when I did get called back it wasn’t from anyone who could make decisions or answer questions regarding refunds or when they planned to put us in the house we paid for. I asked for a manager and 3 days later I have yet to hear from anyone. We ended up packing our bags and cleaning houses 3 out of our 4 mornings at the coast due to lack of communication. We stayed in the less desirable house for 2 out of the 4 nights we were there. And I was always the one initiating contact to get any information. We LOVED the fenced yard, proximity to promenade and beach of the house we had picked and got none of that with the house they put us in.

This house is adorable. Great location! Walkable to beach and Seaside's Main Street with shops and restaurants. Great view of the ocean. Easy drive to Astoria, Cannon Beach and Tillamook. House was clean and the kitchen looks to have been recently updated. Warning on Bathrooms: the listing does list 3 full bathrooms- yes there are 3 bathrooms- only 1 has a shower the other 2 have tubs. It was fine for our group of 4 adults- but it may have been an issue with a larger group. We took the upstairs bedroom, and the view of the ocean was beautiful- the surf was also loud enough to hear at night. Overall, we had a great time and a relaxing stay. It was a nice escape from reality.

The fenced yard was wonderful. The home is in a great location. The layout worked well for our group of four small children and four adult sized people. One shower shared amongst four adult sized people did require planning and time management. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Remember to bring coffee and spices for cooking.

Darling house! Amazing proximity to the Ocean - basically your front yard! Walked to town along the promenade- absolute perfection! Host was so responsive any questions or requests quickly answered. We loved it and can not wait to go back!

Loved the location, right on the beach and within walking distance of many food/coffee places! Good layout for a beach house, clean bathrooms and beds. Quick replies from owner when/if needed! Had a wonderful time at this property!

Celebrated Mom’s 95th bday, cute beach house throwback to earlier times but also updated. Perfect spot as our family spent many summers in Seaside as kids and created new memories. The place was perfect and Meredith lodging was easy to communicate with before and during stay. Could use a couple bathtub reno’s to include shower options. Had a wonderful time!

Our favorite location so far!
This is our 5th annual trip to Seaside. Once you stay on the promenade, you won't want to stay anywhere else. It's a short distance to the beach, which is fantastic when you have littles and gear. The kids can go out the door to safely play in the fenced yard or scooter/bike/hoverboard on the prom. Don't forget to walk down the road to find the hidden treasure- Painted Rock Beach.

Meridith Loging at Seaside
We absolutely loved our stay here!!! The house was so comfortable and fun. Everyday we noticed something else that we hadn't before. It was so accommodating, peaceful and beautiful. The check in was so easy and Meridith Loging was absolutely wonderful and always so kind even if I called for information before our trip. We can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and are already planning another stay very soon!

Our early June Weekend
Awesome place! There is a shower which was a nice surprise. Great kitchen and dining area, perfect for meals as a group. It was me and fiancée and her kid, along with a coupe adults friends and one other child. We all were very comfortable. Also great location, right on the beach, and less than a mile walk into town.

Great spring break!
Great location. Property is as advertised. A little quirky layout but perfect for our family (grandma, 2 teenage boys, toddler girl, and mom/dad). We loved the personality of the house.

Our trip was cancelled due to our son getting mandatory quarantine from a school COVID exposure. We were travelling for a basketball tournament, we gave plenty notice early in week that we needed to cancel and couldn't get our money back. I'm sure they could have rented out easily as everyone was still looking for housing or at least try. Will not ever contact them again. We've rented VRBO's all over US - including hawaii, this is the first time we've been so dissappointed in a property. (I had to rate cleanliness, etc for this review, we did not stay so I tried to just be fair)

Nice weekend trip to seaside
Honestly this property was great. The inside of the home is rustic, but in a good way. The beach is about a minute walk out the back door. Everything in the home was in good and working order. Owners checked in with us to make sure our needs were being met halfway through the trip. Walking distance to the boardwalk and all the shops and restaurants. They were even accommodating to us when we got Covid and we’re flexible in moving our reservation so we weren’t out a trip. This is a good place to rent from and my family and I would love to be back again in the future. Thank you for a great location to stay!

Beachfront charmer
We loved our stay. Family friendly and convenient to the beach. Right on the prom. Quick walk to town and just far enough to be out of the crowds. The charm and family history this home has was enchanting to us. Everyone had a comfy bed and the third bath off the back porch had a shower which most of our group used and was handy since the other baths only have a tub. The updated kitchen is well equipped. The beach access is nice with a quick little walk through the dunes. We’d love to come back. Meredith lodging was easy to communicate with.

Rustic property with amazing location
This house is in the perfect location - right on the promenade. However, the house hasn't had any updates in many many years. The house is in poor shape and smells like an attic. The washing machine was broken, the tub on the main floor was cold water only. It would be great to have some chairs for the beach or yard. The bbq grill was rusted out. If you can put up with the rustic nature, the house location is fun and sleeps 2 families.

Great size and comfortable for family to spread out. Age and character of an older home built @ 1926? Worried about asbestos, wiring, some windows were inoperable and back yard stairs were sketchy. Overall a big comfy older beach home.

Wonderful beach house!
This house is exactly what we were looking for. We are a family of 6, with kiddos ages 4-14. Comfy beds, all the amenities you’d need. The best part was the view and access to the beach! The updated kitchen was awesome, and the rest of the home is a great balance of original charm and beach chic. Would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing views, great times!
We really enjoyed our stay! The views from this house are breathtaking. The property management service was stellar, we had a couple of flubs ( our mistakes, not theirs ) and they quickly politely and efficiently took care of them! Thank you for the great trip!

Quaint beachy getaway
My family really enjoyed staying at this quaint home because of its location along the Promenade and proximity to the beach. I appreciated the history of this home and how it has been cherished through years.

Such a lovely house in a fantastic location
This house is a gem! We have stayed many times in Seaside and this was, hands down, the nicest house we have experienced there. It is not a fancy house but it had everything we needed and more. It is on the quieter end of the Prom, which was wonderful. It is under a mile to walk to downtown Seaside from this house, which does not take long. I was hesitant about this house because some reviews said there was no shower, but that isn't true. There is a shower in one of the three bathrooms! The house was spotless. The views of the ocean are gorgeous. The kitchen is well equipped. This house has a great vibe - like lots of very happy things have happened here throughout the years.

Perfect home and location
This is a really unique older home. It was very cozy and accommodated our group well. It's very helpful that two bedrooms are on the ground floor for people that aren't as comfortable with stairs. Downtown and restaurants were close by but we weren't in the middle of downtown. It's a great location. We had a wonderful time!
