Was perfect for a family of 4 vacation. Kids had their own room and we were close to a lot of great spots - beach, restaurants, and Corpus Christi attractions. The rental was great with only a few minor critiques that are minimal and only just observations as a guest. It was very clean when we arrived and smelled clean; however, there wasn’t much available to keep it clean while staying there. With being in and out at the beach, sand accumulates quickly. There was a broom but no dust pan and no vacuum. So we always had sand all over our feet with no way to clean up behind us. But having the washer and dryer available for Sandy beach clothes and dirty towels was a major plus! The master room ceiling fan didn’t work and there was no overhead lighting - only 1 lamp that worked, the other was missing the twister piece to turn it on. The picture of the master showed a TV mounted on the wall which wasn’t present. And the master shower didn’t drain well and would slowly fill up while showering leaving all the sand and dirt in the tub with you. The space overall was perfect and exactly what we wanted/needed for our family vacation at a price that was affordable! The checkin and checkout was easy and the management was quick to respond with anything we needed. We enjoyed the space and had a wonderful time staying there!

While the location to restaurants and beach was great, the room was on the struggle bus!
The beds were clean and comfy, and living area and overall layout was great for our family of 5 (three teenage boys).
It started to go south when we noticed that one of the two deadbolts did not work- it appeared the door may have been kicked in at some point.
Then we move to the table… with only three chairs of which two were broken - so we couldn’t use those.
The master bedroom only had one working bedside lamp - that was the ONLY light in the whole room. The other lamp had no lightbulb and the fan was missing the light fixture(it was on a shelf in the closet and the fan wouldn’t turn on.
The brand new towels were nice except they left lint ALL over you trying to dry off.
Also cleaning the shower curtain liner would also be nice. Mildew all along the bottom edge. Gross!
There were also quite a few staple items missing in the kitchen- a can opener, measuring spoons, and any type of mixing bowl.
The detailed cleaning of baseboards, door frames, window seals, curtains, and inside cabinets is much needed.
The property management was notified of the main problems and did comp a potion of our stay, but basically made up excuses for the reason why the property wasn’t in better condition.
I would not stay at this property again.

The condo is a safe neighborhood and very well maintained/ clean. Super close to the beach and the pool is wonderful as well.

The place was nice and clean upon arrival. Both bedrooms are a good size and the beds were pretty comfortable. The condo is in a complex with a great pool and hot tub and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes.
My main complaint is the fact that there is not enough furniture in the living room to accommodate 4 full-sized humans (just one couch). And, I made a simple request through the rental agency's text service and I never received a response from anyone on the local staff--just talked to a bot that said it was going to open a ticket (which I don't think it did).

The property is in a great location for proximity to the coast. Kids loved the pool, we appreciated the hot tub and being able to walk to the beach. The main shower has black mold growing in several places and the living room only has one couch (we squeezed all 4 of us on it but if we had a bigger family it would have been a pain). The settee you see pictured is rock hard with no back so you wouldn't use it to actually sit in. Posting this feedback in hopes vacasa invests in the property to upgrade it for future guests!

The property was very clean except for some issues with mold in the master tub. The furniture was very comfortable. The main issues were, the screen in the master bedroom window was falling out and had huge holes in it, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom didn't work. Also, the handle was broken off the microwave and laying on the counter. It would have been nice to have toilet paper in both bathrooms upon arrival, there was only a partial roll in the second bathroom. Otherwise the property was nice and in a great location. Communication received from the management company was very good.

We arrived to a spotless apartment. Comfy beds, plenty of towels. Small issues with baths draining but that seems to be the case with all beach apartments. I'm sure it's tricky dealing with the sheer amount of sand trekked in by guests. Lovely heated pool which was great for our cold November break. Overall great experience and we'd definitely book again. Thanks!

Where to begin, I hope I have enough room:
1. COCK ROACHES! I realize anywhere you go that is warm is probably going to have issues with this BUT, since the HOA was completely MIA during our stay, nothing could be done. There were roaches under the kitchen sink, IN THE DRAWERS in the kitchen and bathrooms, and in the bedrooms! DISGUSTING! We couldn't wait to leave!
2. The sauna was not working the whole time we were there, which had been an issue apparently for weeks before we got there but since the HOA was out for the holiday-there was nothing Lisa (Vacasa) could do about it. Nothing makes me more upset than false advertising! I picked this condo because of the hot tub and sauna and both were a major let down!
3. The hot tub needs to be shocked more often than the HOA does it. Also found that out from other tenants who said it always turns green before it is shocked. I was told the HOA does it twice a week but CLEARLY (or not so clearly, as it were) it needs to be done more frequently.
4. The kitchen faucet had to be replaced as it was leaking water everywhere and the water in the kitchen had to be turned off (by a plumber - I could not get it to turn off) for about 24 hours. NOT CONVENIENT when you are trying to make meals! I will say though Lisa at Vacasa was RIGHT ON EVERY issue we had - just disappointing that there were so many! Lisa did everything she possibly could each time I contacted her and responded right away. So, this review is not a reflection on Vacasa - it's about the HOA and the condo itself.
5. The quiet hours are a joke! We couldn't sleep at night because the people above us were so loud. You could hear them talking to each other even so, the building obviously has no insulation (or the ceilings/floors are cardboard!) but it was the stomping and pounding and screaming that was bothersome. We did ask them if they could hold it down one night but it did no good-even for the rest of that night.
6. The HOA also needs to impose a cost to those pet owners that don't clean up after their pets. There was a great dane in one of the buildings and I suspect the deposits left ALL OVER the complex were from this dog but that is just judging from size. I did not personally see the owner leave the dog's deposits behind but I also didn't see her picking anything up either.
7. Either Marriott's 'level of clean' has changed or this condo SHOULD NOT be on the Marriott properties offering. I am confident the ceiling fans and vents haven't been cleaned in years. There were literally strings of dirt waving in the wind. I had to wipe them all down myself which was hard to reach and not something I plan to do even at my own house when I'm taking vacation time.
This stay was beyond disappointing and I would expect Marriott to refund my points to me. Save your money and your vacation time and DON'T STAY HERE! I HAD to give one star but that is WAY too kind!

Very nice, clean, comfortable and dog friendly Island condo that is a short walk to the beach. For those with dealing with physical issues the stairs are steep. Some feedback, we were advised during check-in that earlier that day if was found that the heater did not work. As such, we were provided space heaters. From my perspective that should have been a temporary solution and the issue should have been promptly addressed during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for us to come visit our college freshman and have access to the beautiful beach and relaxing atmosphere at the pool. Home was really clean and had everything we needed.

This condo was pretty close to perfect for our stay in Padre. The decor and layout are great with 2 large bedrooms separated by large bathrooms and closets. The 2nd bedroom has bunkbeds that are double beds so my 1 kid felt like a king with lots of options. The master has a comfortable king sized bed. We could even catch a glimpse of the ocean from the kitchen and 2nd bedroom windows. The 2nd floor location really helps with keeping the condo nice and cool (compared to our friend's 3rd floor unit that was pretty hot). The complex is super close to the beach and anything else that you would want and the car wash/dog wash/human wash area was a great amenity after a day at the beach. Warning to those bringing kids and dogs is that the grass is full of sharp stickers so be careful walking barefoot. Also, the door code instructions were not correct. It is 10 digits (a bit much to remember) and the instructions were confusing because they instruct for the lockbox but are actually for the doorknob code (enter the code and then turn the lock to unlock the door with a small tug toward you). We would totally stay here again.

This condo was quite disappointing. Passcode is someone's phone number so when you are trying to unlock the unit, you always have to have that long code handy which was the least of our problems. Check out is 10am. Unit has mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, which came complimentary with someone else's hair in it. Other shower had bonus hair as well. Surfaces were not cleaned and some still had dust. Unit not sanitized between people staying, just linens changed. Bunk bed top bed is falling apart and the bed is very shakey/screws very loose. Worst part was the floors. They were so filthy that after we all showered, within 5 minutes it looked like we just walked around in the parking lot with no shoes on.
All in all it was a pretty unpleasant stay. Sad because The Beach Club Condominiums are normally on a higher standard than this particular unit was.
You pay for 18 hours for this unit. Problem is, during that 6 hour break, the only visible thing that occurred was someone changed the sheets of our beds. Definitely will be staying at these condos again. Just not this one. Please fix the mold issue as it can be extremely unhealthy for people staying there.

We loved our stay in #265. Well worth the price even for three humans. Hope to bring a few more people next time since is fantastic and sleeps up to six. Whitecap Beach was great! The pictures online were entirely representative. Whitecap Beach was indeed only a few minutes’ walk away. The pool was great. The adjacent hot tub was a somewhat unusual amenity which our family always enjoys a lot. (Especially when one can hop from one - right into the other!)
One big thing we might suggest to improve include the sound the bathroom vents make - it’s probably the second most grating noise coming out of a bathroom vent that I have, at least personally, ever heard. Also a heads up to dog owners walking in the outside grass - avoid all grass as much as physically possible. Watch OUT: in this time of year (Summer) especially, the grass is full of stickers! (Seriously - these “stickers” are like morningstar weeds of pain!) She and I barely walked in the grass since I have extensive experience with these kinds of weeds and saw it early. But after a couple of days I still had to take ten minutes last night with tweezers to pick out the “barbs” or splinters left behind in my dog’s paw pads that she was suffering from. Just beware. Had a little trouble getting in but Joseph from Vacasa came to the rescue right away and helped us open the door.

Only heard people above us one night. Complex property is kept very clean. The "wash station" to rinse car or shower a person was a nice amenity. Must use your white pool key to access the hose/shower. Towels were well stocked in the bathrooms, shampoo & soap. Kitchen cookware was cheap quality. King size bed was too soft, not comfortable for us. Bottom bunk bed was somewhat better than the king mattress but still not a good sleep. Could not figure out how to use the living room TV and we use tech. WiFi worked great! Customer service was very responsive to answer questions. If you want to park your car on the beach, an annual car pass is available @ any gas station for $12 (in 2021). We loved Padre Island!
