Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The house was very clean and the kitchen pantry was well stocked . I appreciated the large yard and I loved the hot tub! A good place to come home to after a long day of classes at the Taos Art School.

It was a very nice place for a family get together. The info waiting for us was extremely helpful. Cabinets were full of necessities. Very clean, extremely pleasant.

We had a blast in the mountain, and at the VRBO

PRO: lovely atmospheric adobe architecture
CON: dimly lit, kitchen missing a few things you’d want (eg measuring spoons)

Place was clean, easy to access. Accurate listing. Good communication from host. Great place for a ski weekend at Taos.

The property owner was gracious in letting us stay at the last minute. We had another VRBO that cancelled on us 2 days before our arrival due to plumbing issues. We had the nicest stay in Taos and really just used this property to sleep. Bed was great, shower had good water pressure and this place is within walking distance to the Plaza. We hiked, shopped and ate at the Plaza, visited the Taos Pueblo, drove the Enchanted Circle. The only issue we had was not being able to find the white controller for the heat in Master bedroom. We just used an extra blanket. Great trip!

Great private/intimate location. Just blocks from the store or the downtown square, but the feeling of being secluded. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Very clean and as described. We will be back!

I have intended to write this review for months. So sorry for the delay! Our family of 3 made our way the morning after Christmas to one of my favorite places on earth, Taos. I wanted to introduce my teen son to the incredible ski school for his first ski experience and selfishly, I wanted to hang in town quite a bit. This house was the perfect choice. Unique adobe design. Excellently located. Hot tub, fireplace, the works! I’m a bathtub person and the one in the master is fascinating. The art is legendary! Great beautiful living room and open sky hot tub. Just a wonderful experience!

A great little place close to town. We used it as lodging while we went rafting and explored other towns. My boys made use of the indoor jacuzzi and I enjoyed the serene back yard for morning coffee.

House had great space/layout and just about everything you need to enjoy a relaxing home base while exploring Taos. The house is a bit chilly given all the windows and doors to enjoy access outdoors throughout, but the various heating systems do a good job of warming it up. If we are in Taos again, we would definitely consider booking this place again!

This home was amazing. The hosts have gone above and beyond with amenities and overall comfort of the home - we made good use of the hot tub (a must for 3 days of skiing), the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to make our own food (and they have basic ingredients too), there were abundant towels and blankets to accommodate 4 people, and they even put a guest profile on Netflix! They also have decorated the home with really small detail things that give it so much character and warmth. 10/10 would stay here again!

We came to ski and got so much more due to the house and location. The house was great, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is located on a small, very quiet cul-de-sac 2 minutes from downtown. The fireplace was wonderful, especially when it was 12 degrees in the morning.

Lovely experience. Everything was on point. Owners were very communicative.

Phenomenal house! Jetted tub, hot tub, kiva fireplace. Close to Taos plaza, but easier to drive there. Perfect for any visit to Taos. Host’s instructions were thorough and restaurant recommendations were spot-on. Master bed is weirdly not comfortable and would benefit from a new topper. Consider bringing a robe to enjoy the private, outside hot tub. Would happily rent here again!

Close to the plaza and enjoyed the hot tub

We loved the location, minutes from everything. The house was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Will definitely book here again!

Great stay in Taos
We really enjoyed Wendy and Ryan's place and our visit to Taos. It is close enough to downtown but not too close and a great place to base out of for skiing Taos, Sipapu, Angel Fire, etc. We especially enjoyed all of the outside seating areas but the place itself was really nice too including the bedroom and bath layouts and nice kitchen. Cool southwest vibe too. Thanks!

We had a great time staying here during our recent Taos ski vacation! The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and in an excellent location. It was perfect for my wife, 10-year-old son, and me. The host was friendly and very quick about responding to e-mail questions. A+++.

Enjoyed Taos. Very Nice house. Great yard and privacy. Owner has lots of instructions but TV remote didn’t work. Unable to figure out how to activate TV or music but too many fun things to do otherwise to be concerned. A/C units didn’t come on after waiting a long while. Perhaps we did something wrong in pushing the power button, but again, not a concern as it was cool in the evenings and we opened doors (but kept screens closed as directed). Good location and enjoyed our visit to Taos.

Spent a week with my family at this property. House was super clean and communication with Ryan and Wendy was fluent and quick at all times! Had a lovely time and hope to go back soon! Thank you both!

Taos fun
Had a great weekend catching up with a friend, eating food and drinking wine in this beautiful and cozy home. Great patios for outdoor get togethers and a short walk to the plaza.

Tranquil Taos Oasis!
Such a beautifully appointed home and so close to The Plaza. Very open concept kitchen - living room. Loved that there were so many different places to sit outside. We just felt such a lightness staying here. And Wendy was an amazing host. She stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process. She really cares. Definitely recommend booking a stay at this inviting place!

Relaxing Stay
We had a very lovely time staying at this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing comfortable weekend in Taos.
Due to the state quarantine for Covid 19 we brought our food and cooked all our meals at the house. Wendy has thoughtfully provided everything that you would need in the kitchen to prepare a meal.
The house has three porch areas you can choose from to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. The house is close to a main road but the traffic noise was not an issue. Although we did not make use of the outdoor grill and table it is located off the living area and bedroom for you to enjoy!
I would highly recommend staying at this rental, I would definitely stay here again.
As mentioned it is conveniently located a short drive to center of town and a grocery store; however we were not able to go out in public due to the quarantine. We were there to relax and celebrate an anniversary so we didn't mind not being able to shop and Wendy's place was a great place to quarantine! This is the first time I have been to Taos and came back with all my spending money! Hopefully things will open back up again soon for everyone!

Taos Retreat
A lovely house with all the amenities. Private with outdoor spaces. We used it as a home base for seeing all the many sights around Taos. Very clean, beautifully appointed. It met all our needs. The people in Taos were very friendly. Even with COVID-19 we found plenty of things to do. We brought our bikes and enjoyed the beautiful countryside.

Cozy home. Perfect Location!
This is our second time staying here. There is nothing I would change about this house! Perfect size and amazing charm. Within walking distance to Plaza and John Dunn Shops yet seemingly quiet and secluded.
Wendy is an amazing host! Great communication. In fact, our son lost his Apple Watch during our stay and Wendy spent hours looking for it, found it, and mailed it to us! Five star home and host!! We will definitely stay again!

Rejuvenating Retreat
What a sweet place in which to recharge and experience total relaxation. The house was lovely—beautiful artwork throughout, comfortable beds, colorful tile work, and a well appointed kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the patio, enjoying the bird calls, listening to the breeze rustling through trees, watching the light change as the evening progressed. We would definitely return. The property is a safe and cozy place to be during this sometimes stressful time.
