Property is as described and access to the lake was a big plus. Really enjoyed our stay. Not a complaint, just be aware the backyard is a bit steep and there are a lot of steps to reach the house from the parking area, so individuals with mobility issues should consider that.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the sweet retreat. Very quiet and relaxing. Working with Keith was great. Very helpful and answered any questions. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

We've stayed at this property twice now and it's been a little slice of heaven each time. We go in late winter and it's amazing to be able to open the door and immediately sled down the hill then run back inside once we're too cold. My favorite thing aside from the gorgeous view is sitting in front of the 2-story window and wood stove with a good book and a hot beverage. It's a wonderfully quite neighborhood and a beautiful place to stay. The cabin has all the amenities a small family needs for any season. We'll be going back!

Spent two nights for ski vacation to Dodge Ridge. Good location. Took the ski bus from Alicia’s Sugar Shack. Good amenities and a cozy place to stay. The host is very responsive and flexible. Just ask! 😀

This place was perfect for getting to good hikes but also close enough to get to good restaurants for dinner. It is super accessible and had the best breakfast place, The Sugar Shack, right down the road.

Stayed in this beautiful cabin in a quiet mountain town during a winter "storm". Amazing view watching the snow fall from the floor-to-ceiling window. Communication with the owner was awesome, very responsive and understanding. Only concern was traversing the staircase directly outside the front door - it was completely buried in snow when it was time for us to leave, so loading the car was a challenge. But all worth it. We loved it and will go back if they have us!

SWEET "Sweet Retreat"!!!
The cabin is darling and very well appointed. Gina is AMAZINGLY responsive and clear with her communication. AND when we arrived, there was a lovely bottle of wine and a custom welcome card awaiting us (photos of the cabin and Gina and Keith on/inside the card). Their card will be a definite keepsake.
We chose this cabin for it's close proximity to Pinecrest Lake so we could go kayaking every day, which is just what we did. Each morning we were up and on our way, which meant we were back before it got hot and had lots of time to enjoy the house, the deck and the surrounding area.
Lovely and fun get-away. Thank you Gina and Keith!

4th of July Getaway
My family and I spent a wonder 2 nights in Gina and Keith’s Sweet Retreat! My kids enjoyed exploring nature right off the back deck. We grilled burgers and enjoyed the quiet sounds of nature. We explored Sonora and Columbia for 4th of july activities, then took a short drive to the private lake. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Bring water floats and lounge at the lake. The wifi was fast and we all watched movies on the roku tv. The portable ac did the trick for the whole home during the summer days. 10/10 will plan come back in the winter!

Very Cute place
Beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything. Note upstairs bed is a double size but there is also a futon in the same room. Neighbors are close and one neighbor had a noisy machine running for 2 days all day.

Cozy and Comfy in the Pines
Everything is absolutely as nice as it looks in the pictures as far as amenities go. The location was convenient and you do have this great view of the pine forest out of those towering back windows. I have trouble with compensating my expectation on size from pictures taken with the "fish eye" lens so it was just a bit smaller than I expected. Since it was just my wife and I it was not an issue at all and admittedly that is my issue. The owners Gina and Keith were absolutely fantastic through the whole process. Very available and easy to connect with as soon as you make your booking. Best we have ever had actually. We'll be happy to book here again!!

Sweet Retreat indeed
Sweet Retreat lives up to its name. The cabin was perfect for my family of three, with lots of open space for my child to explore. It is very accessible from the highway and has many restaurants and vista points within driving distance. Keith and Gina were prompt with responses to our questions and had clear check-in and check-out instructions before we arrived to make the process smooth. We had a good time here and will definitely recommend Sweet Retreat to our friends and family.

Sweet Retreat for a Sister's Trip
Sweet Retreat is a very cute and clean property. My three sister's and I enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen has all you need for cooking, the living area and dining area were very cozy, and the bathroom was super clean. The beds are very comfortable and waking up to the view from the loft bed was a special treat. Thank you Gina and Keith for hosting us and for your attention to detail.

What a sweet retreat it was
what a perfect place to rent out just for a couple days to getaway from everyday life.i loved all the little restraunts and places open and the locals there were really nice and talkative. Loved driving around the area to check out the incredible scenery. Will definitely go back to this place next time we go back to that area on top of the overall nice owners.

Great place to get away
This property was serene. Nestled in with beautiful trees surrounding it all. Just like the pictures. Check-in and out process was easy. The neighbors are really friendly. My girlfriends and I had a blast. The owner was really helpful and suggested a great hiking spot called God’s Bath. Less than a hr away. It was the most challenging and beautiful hike, definitely worth it to check out. The beds were comfortable. There was 6 of us and it was fine, we made it work with the space. We spent a lot of time by the fire outside. Bring some wood with you! Thank you Gina for everything. Beautiful place.

Slice of Heaven
Everything about this property is even better than pictured (if that's possible). It is super clean, very comfortable and modern, it has every amenity, and is in a beautiful location. The backyard opens up to so much space. My husband and I stayed there with our two boys (ages 7 and 4). They loved the bunk bed and trundle and we were very comfortable upstairs in the loft with the bed and even the comfy futon. The huge windows looking out to the trees made the entire place seem light and bigger than the space actually is. We used the gas grill, outdoor tabletop and L-shaped couch. It was everything we hoped for. We can not wait to come back! Gina and Keith really are "super hosts" as you could tell they go above beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and they answered questions via text within minutes of sending them. It was all perfection!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
We are so happy we chose to spend our relaxing weekend away at Gina and Keith's Sweet Retreat home in Twain Harte! The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for - cute and cozy, quiet, and nestled among the trees. We had everything we might need, even down to pots and pans in the kitchen and cotton balls and q-tips in the bathroom. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine! Gina and Keith were quick and clear with communication and lovely hosts. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful end of the summer
Great location, beautiful atmosphere and easy process. Loved the proximity for a day at Pinecrest or a quick walk down to the private lake. My young boys enjoyed the private lake the most!
