Large-ish 1-bedroom guest house, 72 m2 (780 ft2), newly renovated in a “Mexican rustic” style. Original art, lots of glass, stained glass, view of professionally landscaped garden with mangos, banana stems, bird of paradise (in season), and your own private courtyard patio.
King bed with ceiling fan in large bedroom, hexagonal domed living room, large washroom with shower, full but small kitchen. Wi-fi. Air conditioning not necessary (but Ajijic is a bit warm mid-Apr to late June). Gas fireplace and electric space heater if you need them.
We are in Ajijic Centro, 5 minute walk to the central plaza, 8 minutes to Lake Chapala Society or to the start of hiking trails, 10 minutes to the malecón (lakeside promenade), close to restaurants.
Purified water at all taps. Housekeeping once per week. If you have a car, there is street parking, but you can ask about possible secure indoor parking. Solar-heated salt-water pool. We have a roofed pool patio with gas grill, and a rooftop "mirador" patio with spectacular view, both shared with hosts and two other rental units.
We have a well-socialized and quiet terrier mix dog.

Ajijic paradise
Entering through the gates was like entering a tropical paradise. Property was even more beautiful than photos. Ramon and Sue were extremely helpful in local restaurants and sights. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Highly recommend this property.

Fabulous hosts and casita extraordinary
Both Ramon and Sue were fabulous hosts who went way beyond expectations to make our stay truly wonderful and memorable. It was very hard to leave. Their water system produces great tasty water and that bed is so comfy. We want to go back already. Many thanks to them both. And it was such a treat to have the dogs there too.

Fabulous Property and Fabulous Hosts
We visited Ajijic for some dental work and to research the area with the view to possible retirement in a couple of years.
We had a wonderful stay in the casita and the hosts, Ramón and Sue, went above and beyond what was expected. They greeted us and made sure that we knew where everything was and how things worked and they were a wealth of knowledge on just about everything in the area. They referred us to some great dining experiences and activities that we otherwise would not have discovered. They are a lovely couple and really made our stay relaxing and fun.
The casita itself is just like in the photos and was spotlessly clean and bigger than we expected. Very secure too, which is important to me. The grounds and pool area are stunning.
We would definitely stay there again!

Ramon is onsite and attends to any issues immediately. They even took time to visit with me about
Ramon and sue live on the property and respond quickly to any difficulties. They even took time to meet with to talk about moving to Mexico. The property is lovely. Newly renovated, keeping the Mexican style with a fountain and gardens in a lawn surrounding the pool. Great bed, coffee, mile and fruit were in the room when I arrived. Nice neighborhood near the plaza and the lake. Easy walk of about 5 blocks. Lots of restaurants nearby. The casita is comfortable and very attractive with original artwork, talavera tile, b

Home away from home.
We enjoyed our six week stay in Casita Grande. The casita itself is full of Mexican charm and the yard is a beautifully manicured tropical oasis. The location is close to everything and it’s easy to get around. The owners were quick to tend to our needs or concerns and kept us informed on what was going on around town. Ajijic has many good restaurants and there is always something to do. This was the perfect place for us to familiarize ourselves with the area.

Wonderful casita in the heart of Ajijic
When you drive the residential streets in Mexico, many times it is hard to tell what lies behind the high walls and gates. Ring the bell at Casa del Angel Feliz and you know that you have arrived at a special place. The gates open to a beautifully landscaped garden area with a pool. To the right was our casita, an inviting place for our stay in Ajijic. Ramon, our host met us to give us a tour and show us the property. He and his wife Sue offered information on dining, local traditions, and transportation options. Everything was just as pictured on the website, and the casita very was roomy. Large windows everywhere that brought the outside in, and a pool just steps from the door.
NIcely furnished with a very comfortable bed, we were happy here. We felt safe and secure, the home was just a few minutes walk from the plaza, many restaurants and shopping. The home is in a regular neighborhood and it was so nice to be able to walk and interact with the neighbors. You get a feel for what Mexico and the people of the town are really like, not the kind of experience that you get in a resort area. Speak to the neighbors(even if you don't speak much Spanish) and shop at the little stores on the corners.
Ajijic is a magical place, and so is Casa del Angel Feliz. Listen to the sounds, church bells, vendors selling their wares, horses clip clopping down the cobblestone streets, cohetes announcing the start of Mass, children playing in the streets! We loved it all! For us the perfect place to stay. Thank you Ramon and Sue!

Great casita with a great location in Ajijic
The casita was roomy for two people, clean, cozy and nicely decorated. All desired amenities were there. Very comfortable! The property/courtyard is lovely and the hosts were great! You can't beat the location - central to most everything in Ajijic. We would highly recommend this property.

This stay at Casa de las Angeles lived up to all our expectations.
The Mirador Loft was beautiful and our hosts, Ramón and Sue, were most helpful in making our stay so memorable. They answered all our questions even if they had to research it and get back to us.
The unit was fully equipped in the kitchen, the bedroom and bathroom.
I don’t think there are enough superlatives to describe our stay in Ajijic. Would return here in a heartbeat.

Comfort and security in an enjoyable retreat environment
The hosts Ramon and Sue provide everything you need to enjoy your time in Ajijic. Casita was large, comfortable and included all of the amenities you would need. Situated in the heart of Ajijic in a private and secure courtyard environment with the hosts living on site you have access to everything in the Lake Chapala area and the surrounding villages. Definitely an outstanding repeat vacation or get away location for couples of all ages.

Just like the pictures!
We stayed here while house-hunting in the area. The property was just as described, clean, well maintained, comfortable! We were there during the warmest time of year, and while we didn't suffer from the heat, it did influence our activities.
The access to the laundry allowed us to pack light. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom and bath for those with more 'stuff'. Also appreciated was the secure parking, as we rented a car. The only items we wished we had brought with us were a paring knife and a hair dryer, minor things that we could have easily remedied.
Ramon is a most gracious host, sharing his knowledge and experience of the area and daily life at Lakeside. We would stay here again, except our house hunt was successful! We feel fortunate to have been guests here!

Looks just like the pictures on internet!
The grounds, pool, and Casita were beautiful, just like the pictures! The hosts, Ramon and Susan were very friendly and helped me get my phone service to work the first night. The kitchen was well stocked including a microwave. The location was within easy walking distance of 4-5 restaurants and the plaza. The only issue I had was the occasional noise of festival fireworks going off at 5am. I would love to visit again and recommend it to others!

Everything we hoped for!
The accommodations were just what we hoped for. Our casida was decorated nicely and had everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere ... including a big fan that was nosy enough to drown out any street noises.... and provide some cool air since it was a bit warm while we were there. We only met our hosts only once since they were leaving for a trip the day after we arrived, and they were very welcoming and informative. Then in a day or two, we met their house sitter who was very nice and helpful as well. We were impressed by the fact that our host, Ramon, had even provided us with enough coffee and milk to last us a couple of days until we could purchase our own.... not always the case we've been told. The pool was wonderfully refreshing, their dog was so friendly and adorably cute, and even the gardener was happy to listen to our praises on his great work. The location is wonderful although a bit noisy since it's right in the middle of Ajijic.... but the location was one of the things we most appreciated. I guess that was a trade-off. The information our host provided us ahead of time was wonderful as well... providing us with a lot of information about things to do, who to call, etc.... thus relieving almost any anxieties we had about coming to a country where we do not speak the language. We would recommend this casida to anyone considering a visit to Ajijic. We had a wonderful time during our one-week stay, and thought it was well worth the price.

Perfect Property
Beautifully rejuvenated and landscaped property. Our hosts, Ramon and Sue, were gracious and very knowledgeable about the area. They were eager, without being intrusive, to answer our questions and make helpful suggestions. The property is both relaxing and secure. We hope to go back in the spring to find our own "Perfect Property". Let's not forget Tillie, the sweet natured and well behaved resident Lab, as the frosting on the cake!

Wonderful Casita!
This casita grande is just that: plenty of room in a well-appointed retreat. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom is spacious, kitchen is small but will serve your cooking needs. Internet was good, and it was a joy to have the pool a few steps from the private patio. We had lovely view of central grounds from every window. Truly an oasis once you enter the gate. Thank you to our wonderfully attentive hosts, Ramon and Sue, as well as their SWEET dog Tilly; we fell in love with her at first sight :)
