As others have written, this is a cozy older home with dock access. We appreciated the air conditioning and cooler basement. It was an extra hot week, 100 most days. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Internet was sufficient for us to work remotely while at some points in time both kids were gaming. We drove a long bed Tacoma and were able to turn around in the driveway but it would likely not have worked with another car or truck parked there. They would need to park below or vice versa. In addition to the dock there is a small access point to the water that was fun for our dog. We enjoyed our stay in Hayden.

The house is older and outdated. We were okay with the older house and not having to worry about kids being kids in the house or outside. The house did not have a dishwasher and all dishes need to be had washed. Kitchen was well stocked with trash bags, ziplocks, grocery bags, plates/bowls, cups, paper towels. The cooktop stove is electric and older. The newest thing in the whole place was the oven.
The bathroom downstairs is mostly just a toilet and sink. Shower is very small. Upstairs bathroom has a tub and shower. We only showered upstairs.
Downstairs has no formal bedroom, just twin beds and pull out bed for kids. Two proper bedrooms are upstairs.
Although decor was older, the lake views were amazing from the house and the deck was nice to sit at. The backyard has a steep walkway through forest to get to the road and then we had to cross a very busy road to the dock. Once we were at the dock, it was quieter and kids had fun in the water. Lots of fish in the water too. Bring your fishing poles.
Check in instructions was easy. Checkout instructions asked us to take all the trash out to the garbage can at the road, take linens off beds, wash dishes and put them away.
We were also asked to take the trash out for trash day on Wed.
Overall ok stay and nothing to complain about necessarily.

Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Steep stairs were a challenge but we are all in our 60's. This would be perffect for a large group.

The stay was wonderful. Access limited. Bathrooms need repair. House very clean. Thank you for the house.

We were comfortable in the house.
The driveway is steep but accessible.
The kids loved bear theme. The view is beautiful and fun to play on the dock.

We had a great stay, property was out dated but rate was fairly adequate and it had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with almost everything you could think of for dishes and cooking utensils. We would definitely book again but would love to go when the weather was a little warmer to be able to use the dock and enjoy the water. The property worked well for our family!

Dan was awesome. Grandkids love the property. Would love to make an annual tradition, we also have our summer house in Hayden.. Driveway was tricky, but doable

This property was adorable and cozy! With a lovely lake view, fenced in forested area and dock at the bottom of the hill, it kept the kids busy for hours exploring and playing outside with our dog! The vibe is super laid back and our family had a great time preparing meals ( BBQ) , visiting with our family and just hanging out! Beds were comfortable and there were lots of supplies in the kitchen to help us out. The location feels like a hideaway but truly you are close to stores and shopping with a short drive… plus the fair was in town while we were there. We had a blast!!

We had fun. Loved the dock. The house was big with substantial places to sleep and plenty of linens.
The driveway is very narrow and steep, but manageable. It smelled and looked like an old home with older appliances (probably is an older home, but the daily rate seemed to match). The HOUSE is not lakeside. We had to cross a surprisingly busy street to get from the house to the dock.
Evolve, the managing company was difficult to work with and the additional price to cover the middleman was high. I like VRBOs that are actually By Owner, not managing companies like this. We would have stayed another day, but their algorithm actually tried to charge extra for the first 2 nights , not just the additional 3rd night. The 3rd night also came with additional fees. For our 2 nights, the fees were more than the actual stay!

This house was perfect for our big group!! We had such a fun week, the host thought of everything and we had anything we needed. It is definitely outdated and there are a few quirks that we just got used to and it was no problem. Having access to a private dock was amazing!!
A couple of things if you are renting- the driveway is very steep and fits 3 cars max, and someone will always be blocked in; Honeysuckle beach is across the lake and you have to drive there to access it (the way we read the listing we thought it was near the property); you have to walk a steep trail and cross a road to access dock.
This house was close to town but felt secluded, and was so great! The host had great communication and made the trip easy. We will definitely be back again!

Our family spent a week here and very much enjoyed ourselves. There were 5 of us and two dogs. The house is as advertised. Clean but dated. We very much appreciated the AC. We didn’t notice when booking that their is a road between the house and the lake. The private dock is very nice with a slip for our boat and had a nice table with umbrella on it. A little surprising, but there were zero chairs or lounge chairs on the dock so we had to pick some up at the local Walmart. We drove three vehicles and towed a boat. We could squeeze our cars in at the house however, there was very limited parking for our boat trailer. Apparently you can only park your trailer on the lower road and pretty much every inch of parking space has “private parking” signs posted. We ended up parking on the neighbors spot who confronted us and then allowed us to park there. Overall this is a nice spot and Dave, the owner, was great to work with and went out of his ways to make sure we were comfortable.

We had a blast! The house was perfect and had everything we needed to enjoy seeing family and friends. It was so nice to have our dogs there and the dock available. Everything was great and it was nice and quiet, private enough for our stay! Friends brought their boat over, we paddle boarded, and enjoyed the private dock.... Loved it and we'll book again :)

Loved staying here! It was the best and so comfortable!
We will definitely be back! So worth it and comfortable! We had everything we needed and complete relaxation. It was clean and comfortable for us and the dogs, close to town, and the dock was amazing!
Thank you~ we were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect stay!

Older but nice! Had everything we needed - large downstairs for kids
The only tough part is perhaps the driveway - I had no probs but multiple people will have to shuffle rugs, no where to turn around - no biggie for us - but older or inexperienced may have some iissue getting in and out - The only other spot is down below the house and we have to walk a trail to get up to the house not a biggie for us but like I said older or very young may have an issue there
We loved the place had everything you needed and a dock across the road to fish off of

Great location
Great location with privacy. Our friend had a boat & the dock was easily accessible. Would stay here again. We had no issues.

This home is like an amusement park. For young visitors it can be a fun house. For older visitors it’s more akin to a house of horrors. The adventure begins with a rollercoaster plunge down the driveway. It’s best to close your eyes on the way down. The views of the lake from the house are stunning, but good luck getting there. Dora the Explorer could film a whole episode following the switchback trail, crossing the busy road and descending the 80 shaky stair steps to the private dock below. Downstairs you can enjoy your own personal teacups ride on the wobbly toilet, sing along with the squeaky springs in the old mattresses, or play Chicken Little with your kids while watching the ceiling tiles fall down in the laundry room. If you hate air-conditioning, then this house is for you! I watched the inside thermometer hit 85 degrees at midnight, despite our best efforts to cool the house down.
In all seriousness, I could have ignored the lack of dishwasher, unvented downstairs bathroom, old, mismatched furniture, and overgrown, unkept yard if it had even a single window air-conditioner to give us a break from the heat.

Perfect family getaway
Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and provided the space we needed for our large family. The lake was the perfect place to spend our days. This was a life saver given the fact that there was no Air conditioning in the house. The swamp cooler and fans were not enough to keep the house even remotely cool with that many people. This would have been helpful to know prior to booking. While the trek down hill to the lake was fine for all of us (definitely feeling some sore muscles after a few days) This would not be a good location for anyone older or with any kind of mobility restrictions, there would be no access to the water in those cases. At the end of our stay we all agreed, we will return next summer and we can't wait!

Family vacation
We had a very nice stay at this house. Communication with the homeowner was easy and professional. The home is dated but clean. There is no air conditioning in the home so it was hot due to a heat wave during our stay. However fans were provided and helped to keep us comfortable during the night. The dock is wonderful and we spent several days out there relaxing, swimming and fishing. House is in a very nice location and nice neighborhood. House was well stocked with kitchen and cooking utensils. All in all was a great home to stay in and would stay there again.

Honeysuckle House
We stayed here on a family vacation with our family and another family. The home is very dated and could use some love. The property was also very over grown and has not been worked on in some time. The home was clean and the owner was friendly. The description said 3 bedrooms but there was actually only 2 bedrooms with the 3rd being a open basement with beds in its. The dock to the home was great but you do have to cross a busy road and climb a steep hill, which was not an issue for us but maybe for elderly or less mobile folks. The lake was beautiful and clean and we loved the views from the deck. Overall we had a nice stay and this home was more affordable than most in the area. Next time I think we would look for a home with more amenities (dishwasher) and upgrades, but for the price this home worked for our group and we had a pleasant stay.

Perfect Stay
Grandma bought a couple of nights for our family of six and our golden retriever.
The house was perfect- downstairs to play and upstairs to chat and eat. The fenced property was great for the dog and of course the lake was absolutely wonderful for all of us. The only sad thing …too short! We had a bit of a challenge getting in but our host was always readily available.

this spot was exactly what we needed to relax for the week and enjoy the lake. The dock was amazing couldn’t have asked for anything better it was perfect in every way.

Great little place
We enjoyed our stay here, we loved that the place was a little closer to town and close to the public beach since it didn’t have its own. The yard was fully fenced which was amazing for our dogs.

This house was so charming - very 1960s-70s in the best way - and the location was perfect. Great lake views and very close to everything in Hayden Lake. The only unfortunate part was that the main bathroom was covered in hair (the bathtub/shower had hair all over the walls and along the rim of the tub). The bathroom floor didn't appear to have been cleaned (there were clumps of hair and other things in the corners). The main top floor bedroom sheets were completely covered in hair, and the quilt had globular chunks of some unknown substance on it. The last thing - the drying rack for dishes was mildewy and looked to have not been cleaned. Other than those things though the house was wonderful.

Enjoyable and Beautiful
Management and Owner were great to work with. Easy to find and just far enough out of town by the lake to feel like a get away and see the stars and just close enough to shopping to be conveinent. Comfortable, cute and homie inside like being at a friends house. Driveway is a little steep and need to do a 4point turn around to leave. But is worth the view! Uber eats, Wall-Mart, Costco and Door dash etc. all deliver the the houses... Would book this location for my family again.

Hayden lake
Very nice home with great amenities.. The kitchen was very well equipped. Bedrooms were all comfortable. The kids all loved it. The walk down to the lake was fine. We stayed right on Lake Coeur D’ Alene for the prior 4 nights of this vacation. That was better for the 7 year old. We would not let him go down to the lake alone from this property due to having to cross a road first. The road isn’t too busy though. The home is very close to town, so that is convenient for shopping. The lake is lovely. It was nice to have a public launch right around the corner. The manager/owner was very helpful. We had a couple cold and rainy days, so the smart TV came in handy. We loved it. Would stay here again! Thank you😁
