I am a fan of old homes with history. This is an old house with character and original features and quirks, but also modern conveniences. We have preserved many of the original features, such as original windows and doors, hardwood floors, bathroom tiles and fixtures, etc. If you are a fan of everything the latest, this is not it.

We enjoyed our stay at this colorful and artsy home in a quiet neighborhood. All communication with Zoya was easy and she was quick to reply with answers to any questions that we had.

This was such a sweet home to stay in, comfortable and beautiful. Communication was easy and fast.

This is a comfortable and inspiring home. Loved all the hand-painted touches and wonderful art all around. Very cheerful colors. Incredibly comfortable beds and linens. We were there in winter so didn't get to experience the neighborhood in bloom but could tell it must be lovely with all the flowering trees and many gardens.
The one note I have for anyone considering staying here, the bathtub/shower does not have grab bars and has a curtain all around so nothing even to lean on. It was fine for me but my 87-year-old mother did not feel safe using it. Just something to be aware of.

After searching high and low to find a safe place to stay for the Ravens & Dolphins game, I came across this home. It was perfect and in the best neighborhood!

Great house with decent amenities. The house decor and art was a real treat to experience. Neighbors were really nice. The street is a narrow one-way like a lot of Baltimore neighborhood streets, but street parking wasn't too bad if you know how to parallel park.
So nice to stay at a home with laundry and a kitchen. The beds were great and love the themes of each room. Also the shower had great water pressure. Would definitely recommend the house to others who need a place to stay in NE Baltimore.

We stayed @housecolorful in August for college move-in dat/week. Property was as described. You have all that you need in a house for day‐to-day living. We liked the feel and decor of this charming rowhouse, from the squeaky floors to all of the personal items throughout, reminding us of old Europe. The host was very kind and responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to catch the sunset and see the skyline of downtown Baltimore, very pretty with lots of greenery everywhere, impressive to people traveling from Arizona. We would definitely go back and stay at the house again.

The property is what we needed and it was a blessing for the parking off the alley. The bedrooms were great with wonderful beds.

This house was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet as can be. We were only a short distance from Johns Hopkins for our visit, which was really convenient. The kitchen is well stocked too.

Ednor Gardens is a quiet, well-preserved, historic residential neighborhood in the middle of the city and close to everything we wanted to see.
The house was very clean, comfortable and safe. It had everything we needed. The AC worked great. The washer and dryer worked great.
I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Cute Row House
We stayed here in April, which was a great time! The spring flowers and trees in the neighborhood were in full bloom and we were lucky to have some nice sunny days during our visit. One of the main reasons we chose the house was that it was within walking distance of our very good friends, who we were in town visiting, which made the home very convenient.
This was a very cute and traditional Baltimore row house that was lovely to stay in. The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow, and Zoya and her property manager were very communicative. We didn't have any issues with the house while were there, but I'm sure that Zoya would have been prompt to respond if we had any trouble. The property itself has a boho/artist vibe to it that was both creative and also very cozy. The mattresses were either memory foam or had nice memory foam toppers, and the beds were prepared with adequate blankets for the cooler weather we had while we were in town.
The shower was straight up luxurious, with perfect water pressure, temperature, and amount of water. I would stay here again, just for the shower. Towels that were provided were soft and fluffy, high end hotel quality.
Floors were a little creaky, but that is to be expected in an old house, and I personally found it charming. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting the area!

Nice and quiet
This property was very clean, nice , and location was quiet . Our one issue was the radiators in rooms made noise intermittently all nite with water sounds . If you are not a heavy sleeper this may keep you up in the colder weather with them on .

Just like home
This house just happened to be right in our daughter's neighborhood so it was extra special for us. Everything was as presented---not much outdoor space except the big balcony. But we knew that and fine for us for a glass of wine. We enjoyed the international decor very much.

Quaint and comfortable
After traveling (and being in a vehicle for almost 24 hours) arriving here was like arriving at home. The beds are comfortable, the water always hot, the neighborhood quiet and the house is colorful and comfy. Only issue I had was opening the basement door to remove the recycling and take out the trash.
I would stay here again.

Cozy Plaze, Nice Neighborhood
We stayed here for a month, and for four graduate students, it was the perfect place. Cute, cozy, comfy house in a really pretty and quiet neighborhood. Walkable to a grocery store, and multiple bus lines stop nearby. Zoya and her caretaker were very nice and responsive. I highly recommend this house.

What an amazing neighborhood
We enjoyed staying here with my little toddlers. Short walk from the Y, where we swam and played in the park and took the bus into town for touristy things. Very cute house!! We felt welcome.

Adorable home in a cute area
We stayed for 10 weeks in this house and had a WONDERFUL experience. Zoya and Robert are very attentive and prompt to respond to any questions or issues we may have experienced. The setup is very homey and welcoming and we had access to plenty of street parking (and a parking space in the back), a fully equipped kitchen and really nice washer/dryer. The neighborhood is pretty nice and we would walk around in the afternoon and felt safe. (Just be careful if you cross 33rd street, it's a very different area than this neighborhood.) There is also a lake with a walking/biking path less than a mile away that's awesome for running/walking/biking and there are always people around.

Perfect home base for moving our son to college
We needed a home away from home across the country to collect all the items my son needed to move into his dorm room. We also wanted a convenient location to downtown, suburbia, and DC so we could vacation a little, as well as prepare my son for college. Zoya's place had all the comforts of home from which to launch our boy on to the next phase of his life. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the lack of wifi available during our visit. The caretaker and owner both tried to work with the provider to turn it back on so I think the problem was bigger than them but we were at the very end of our data plan so it was a bit of an incovenience. The home was cozy and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient for all we needed.

Pleasant stay. Great home
We enjoyed our home away from home. Very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Great shower! We had everything we needed. Just a note. The listing indicates there is cable and there is not. Lots of antenna tv channels.

Sunny Home in Quiet City Area
Our stay at this property was very satisfactory. The area is very quiet and the home colorful and nicely furnished.. All the amenities were available. The entire house was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the dining and living rooms where we spent time relaxing and enjoying family fun. The small balcony off the kitchen was a special treat where we sat and enjoyed morning coffee. Robert the manager was friendly, available, and very accommodating. We enjoyed sight seeing and eating at the Inner Harbor. Because the house is located close to the Amtrak train station, we road the train on three occasions to get in and out of Washington DC. We would definitely return for another stay.
