Come and enjoy sunny San Diego in this freshly remodeled beach vacation rental. Stroll to the beach with your surfboard, run along the boardwalk, or bike around the bay. Verona By The Sea is a 4-unit condo complex with 2 studios and two 2 bedroom units. This unique location is conveniently located close to local dinning, shopping, bars, nightlife, mission bay, and the ocean. Pacific/Mission Beach is 500 feet away from the condos and Mission Bay is 100 feet away!

This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located on the second level. It was remodeled down to the studs and thoughtfully redesigned with beach living in mind. The kitchen is fully stocked and the dining/living room has a new flat screen TV with 'smart' technology and wifi. Ceiling fans (not pictured in photos) are in the living room as well as both bedrooms.

There is a common courtyard patio shared by guests staying at the condos that offers bay views and is a perfect spot for grilling and sunbathing. The hot tub accommodates up to 8 and is the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Steps away from the condo in the evenings you can view the fireworks from Sea World.

Good layout, nice jacuzzi, close to the Bay, and 3 minute walk to the beach with a cross walk just south. We enjoyed cooking most meals, and spent most of our time at the beach.

We have stayed at a lot of VBRO's as a family of six and this one take the trophy. The unit was excellent on the inside, with so much charm and a huge master bedroom. The location is a 10 out of 10, with the mission bay 50 feet one way and the ocean a 2-minute walk the other way. This was a perfect spot for us. Also, the owner takes great pride in the beach gear and has a fully stocked closet perfectly organized with chairs, buckets, boogie boards, and tons of other beach fun for the kids. AMAZING spot.

We could not have been more pleased with this property. The location was in middle either to walk to the bay (literally just up the path) or to the beach (again very shirt walk). Property exactly as listed, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Hot tub very nice after long day of site seeing. Neighbors all friendly & gave great suggestions for local places to eat. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved this condo! Very comfortable and spacious, had everything we needed, and the location was amazing as we were able to walk just about everywhere we needed to go. We had a little hiccup upon arrival but the host was very responsive and VERY accommodating to our situation. I would 100% recommend staying here!!

The rental was clean and close to both the bay and ocean. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The unit was spacious and had 2 full baths. We will return.

I came to San Diego with my 15 year old daughter and couldn’t be more impressed with this place! It had everything you could possibly need in a property. The location was absolutely perfect! There were water views from the door of Mission Bay, less than 5 minutes walk to the ocean, plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance, and you could easily walk to Mission Beach or Pacific Beach. It was really quiet at night for sleeping/relaxing and just minutes walk away from any kind of things to do. I rented a vehicle in case I wanted to do anything, but really didn’t drive it much at all. We did go to Coronado Island, downtown, Old Town, and La Jolla which every spot was less than 30 minutes to get to. Having the hot tub was a nice bonus for the end of night after walking as much as we did. The only thing that was tough was the parking, which is no fault of the owner and a San Diego thing in general. Everywhere is tough to park and super compact, but the place definitely made me better at parking in general which is added bonus. Honestly, this place is the best bang for your buck and will be somewhere I definitely will book again when I come back. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

This property was perfect for our family of 4, with two kids ages 3 and 6. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. Literally steps from the bay and under 5 min walk to the beach. The sand toys and beach equipment were a great touch and laundry onsite made it easy for us to stay for a week! We will be back!

We very much enjoyed our trip to San Diego! The location was great with a short walk to the bay and Ocean beach. My kids loved playing in the sand and we were happy to find the condo had a few sand toys they could use. Veronica was very easy to work with and prompt with her responses. Ideally nestled between the top of Mission Bay and the ocean you get the best of both worlds! Less than a minute walk from the bay and only a few minutes to the ocean! Located on the cusp of both Mission and Pacific Beaches with walkable grocery, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing stores, and even beach yoga! The second floor apartment is ample in space with 2 bedrooms and full baths, nice sized open living/dining room with a large sofa with chaise that pulls out to a sofa bed. Unlike some VRBO thoughtfully equipped with enough basics like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwashing and even laundry detergent. Kitchen has plenty of dishware and cooking appliances - even a slow cooker and blender. The newly remodeled design is beautiful and relaxing, I’d actually would love to know the paint color!! Intentionally designed with closets, drawers and wardrobe so you do not have to live out of your suitcase. We were there long enough to meet several neighbors and appreciate the tight knit helpful community. Gorgeous shared patio space with seating for all units and a grill. One of the few units we could find with a hot tub. Laundry is on the first floor, bring quarters but you can leave detergent at home. I already miss being there!

Best location! Steps away from the quiet, peaceful side of the bay. That side is perfect for relaxing without the crowds and letting kids play in the water without the waves. But then the fun side of the beach is about a 3-4 min walk. That part of the beach was never crowded either. The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the hot tub as well.

The location is perfect, one block from the bay and two from the ocean, which meant we could enjoy the boardwalk and big ocean waves and calmer walks along the bay. The place was just as described with new, modern furnishings that kept us comfortable and allowed us to enjoy many meals at “home.” We were the only family staying during our trip, so we took advantage of the hot tub and soaked in the sun on the fenced in patio while the kids played with bubbles and chalk. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and hope we can come back soon!

This was our second time staying here and we love love love the location. The hot tub and BBQ are also great. Not so great this time was the construction right next door. I feel like this should have been listed so you know what you're getting instead of showing up and being disappointed. We love sitting on the patio reading and it just wasn't peaceful this time with jack hammering going on a few feet away. When I messaged the owner about it there were no apologies or sympathies. I feel like the place should be listed at a discount while the construction is on. And the owner should be more upfront about it.

We had a great stay at this property! The place itself was updated and clean and the location was amazing. We could see the bay from the front patio and could easily walk to the beach side as well as markets and restaurants. The hot tub was also a big plus!!!

Great location. Walking distance to just about everything and anything. Beautiful place. Checking in was simple, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen … and then some (coffee was paid forward - so we did as well). Wasn’t sure if the hot tub was working - but we honestly didn’t have time for it anyway… highly reccomend!
