About this villa rental
When you enter Villa Mangos 19, you will feel as though you have entered a tropical paradise. This Mediterranean Style Villa has a true 'plantation feel' of elegance and sophistication. French doors open unto the Verandah overlooking the 13th Hole of the Pete Dye La Romana Country Club private golf course (where we are members and we can arrange for you to play). The Villa is beautifully decorated and furnished with custom made furniture throughout. The easterly orientation affords a pleasant light breeze throughout the day.
Las Minitas Beach is only a 5 minute walk away.
The Villa comes with a full time staff of four: a wonderful cook who will prepare three meals a day for you; a maid who does the cleaning, (washing and ironing are available for a small additional fee to be paid directly to the maid); a male housekeeper who helps with baggage, maintains the pool and grounds and serves as a waiter, and bartender; and an administrator who can arrange airport pick-ups for you, do food shopping, or take you to do it yourself if you prefer, and who serves as a chauffeur and handyman when needed.
There is a large swimming pool (35,000 gallons) overlooking the beautiful golf course views. There is also a new jacuzzi that can accommodate ten. At night the grounds are lit with accent lights on the palm trees and you can just put your feet up, relax, and enjoy your friends and family. The staff takes care of your every need so you can truly vacation and enjoy!
Massage table included and administrator can arrange massages in the Villa for you. Outdoor shower in Master bedroom is in addition to the full bathroom inside the room.
Additional Casa de Campo amenities include three golf courses (Teeth of the Dog, The Links and Dye Fore), a plethora of water sports, yacht and ATV rentals, tours and other activities which can be arranged through our on-grounds administrator or directly through the Casa de Campo activities office.

The house and staff are great and the week was even better than we'd hope. The house is as nice as, if not nicer than the photos. Each of the 4 staff could not have been kinder and friendlier. The location of the house is great - tucked away, a short walk to the beach, and a beautiful view out the back. We could not have beeen happier.

We stayed for 3 nights after staying at the hotel prior to our visit. The villa was immaculate, the grounds and pool simply sensational. Angelo our organiser picked us up the day before our stay to take us to the Jumbo supermarket in town and then took all our shopping back to the villa ready for our stay starting the next day. The staff in the villa were lovely and although we were actually very low maintenance guests they were always available to cater for our needs. The food they cooked was lovely and they even did lots of washing for us which was greatly appreciated.
Richard the owner was great and we were able to communicate very well before our visit.
Overall our stay was amazing, the villa was just a dream and we had the best most relaxing time there, even though we did get eaten alive by mosquitoes!!

This is truly a remarkable villa, with incredible staff that made this a one-of-a-kind vacation! From beginning to end, the staff pampered us, catered to our every whim, and made us feel welcome. Richard the owner was also very communicative and answered all our questions ahead of time.
This vacation was for our extended family to get out of the cold, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the villa's well designed pool and hot tub, the beach just down the road, the spa, the incredible golf, and all the other amenities CDC offered. The staff took care of laundry daily, made three large home-cooked meals a day (always with fresh tropical fruit, including mangos from the trees on property), and arranging rental items.
Only items to be aware of, while there is good AC in the bedrooms, the rest of the property is open to the elements and not climate-controlled. Also, while you are not recommended to drink the tap water, there is one special filtered faucet in this house which can be used for drinking. The only real issue we had was the massive magnitude of mosquitos and bug bites, which is not specific to this property. They do spray and have bug lights, fans, swatters, spray, but we quickly learned to stay in long pants at night.

This house was beautiful and just as described. There were 10 of us there, and we had plenty of space for all. Yasmeen is a great cook.... Fabulous breakfast every morning and a great Domican meal too. Jose made frozen drinks for adults and kids. Pool was clean and refreshing. Close to beach, but recommend golf carts for sure. We hope to come back some day!

I have stayed at this villa many times and it is my families favorite. Just spending time by and in the pool is a dream. The location in the middle of CDC can't be beat and it is near the beach which we love. Jose and Jasmine made every meal a delight and the owner Richard was so helpful before and during our stay. You wont find a nicer place to stay in all of Casa De Campo. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Owner and staff unreal. The house is stunning, the staff the nicest, warmest people you can find and the owner is fantastic- responsive and generous.
House is beautiful. In fantastic shape with amazing furnishings and location. There were six of us (could sleep 8-10) and this is our 4th trip to Casa de Campo and we will come back to this home FOR SURE

The house and the staff are excellent. We’ll have rented over 15 houses at Casa de Campo over the years, and this one was overall the best

We visited this property in April of last year. The house is beautiful and fine, elegantly decorated. The personnel was very attentive to our needs. We celebrated the 96th birthday of our Grandmother. She enjoyed it very much. We have visited many other Villas around the world, we liked this one very much. Overall we were very pleased and recommend this comfortable home. We are looking forward to return to spend some time in La Romana and Cap Cana this year.

Amazing property! The owners keep this property in top notch condition. They are so helpful to ensure we had all the information before we arrived. To say we had a fantastic time is an understatement. The staff is kind and so helpful as well as respectful. The meal preparations were amazing, and the grounds were well kept. Property manager was available for any request we needed. The table settings were beautiful with different china and linens. We admired the attention to detail. The property had amazing paintings, pottery and furnishings. This is a comfortable yet elegant home.

We just returned from an amazing week to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. In total, we had 9 people -- 6 adults and 3 children. The house was beautiful -- even better than the pictures. The location was great -- short walk to the beach and an easy golf cart ride to the Marina. The house overlooks the golf course which makes the whole property feel even more spacious. The pool was fabulous. My nephew just turned 5 and isn't a great swimmer but the wide pool stairs gave him ample room to be in the water with plenty of places to stand.
The staff was great. They prepared wonderful breakfasts, lunches and afternoon snacks/cocktails. The kitchen is very well appointed and it was very easy to cook dinner for 9 people. Airport transportation and golf cart rental was set up in advance through the owner which made things very easy. We also arranged to do a big grocery shop in town on our first day and were taken to the supermarket in town by 2 members of the staff. We were able to supplement what else we needed at the supermarket in Casa De Campo at the Marina -- which was far larger than I expected it to be.
The house is very spacious and has an incredible amount of covered outdoor living which we used to get a break from the sun when it was very strong in the afternoons and on the rainy day. You still felt like you were outside.
There is a 3 mile jogging path just outside the house which was great and when we ran, we always felt very safe on the property -- lots of other people out and about as well as many security guards - day and night.
We would definitely rent again.

Rented this home for a 40th birthday celebration. We had four couples and the home was perfect. Very spacious, open floor plan. The outdoor living space is great - large pool with lots of areas to lounge; beautifully maintained grounds. The staff was great - prepared brunch and dinners that were fantastic. Centrally located in the resort - 5min walk to beach. Owner was easy to work with. Would definitely rent again!!

We just returned from our first visit to Casa de Campo and are going through withdrawals! From our first communication with the owner, we knew we were in good hands, but little did we know just how good. There were three staff members on site each day to assist with cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, etc. and a fourth on an as-needed basis. Breakfast was served each day as well as several dinners, including one Dominican themed that was our group's favorite. We traveled with a baby, and were able to secure a crib and high chair (additional cost) which made things so much smoother. The house is divided in two separate wings; our babysitter and two guests stayed on one side, while we were on the other with our baby. This house is set up perfectly for that sort of division. Home is clean, well appointed with just about anything you could ask for and perfectly located within the resort. Beach is within walking distance; marina and hotel a short golf cart ride away. We are all hoping to return to this oasis sometime in the future, and hopefully stay at this beautiful home again.

We just returned from a wonderful family vacation to Casa de Campo. We rented this beautiful home with another family (4 adults and 5 children) and had such a memorable trip. The home is very spacious and fit our group perfectly, there was actually a little extra room. The pictures do not do the home justice. It is meticulously maintained and everything is extremely clean and up-to-date. The staff, especially was very attentive, professional and accommodated every request. Mario, Ingrid, Rosa and Angelo were truly great people who only wanted to make our stay at the villa even better. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning soon to share in many more family spring break memories.

We stayed at the Villa for 5 days and had a wonderful time. It is extremely comfortable, with plenty of space (there were 4 of us and we felt like royalty). Each of us had our own bedroom - large and well-provisioned, with an elegant full bath...air conditioned, with a fan...not that it was necessary, the nights were very pleasant.
The meals were superb...we never went out to a restaurant because we didn't think we could find better food than we were getting in the villa...fish, chicken, meat, rice dishes, potatoes, plenty of fruit...everything you wanted, all wonderfully prepared. There was not one dish that I didn't like (and yet I tried not to over eat...). Fabulous desserts every night, plenty of drink..alcoholic and otherwise, all served by the staff that catered to our every need. All day, every day - if we just looked like we needed something, it showed up...ice water, soda water, wine, spirits, soft drinks, juices (the world's best pineapple juice)....and plenty of fresh fruit (did I mentioned that?).
And everything was very private and quiet...the villa is next to the tee for the 13th hole, but it's far enough away so we can watch them tee off (and chuckle) but not hear anything from them. And the neighbors are shielded by big palms and heavy growth (I don't even know if they were home).
We also had the use of the two golf carts so we were able to drive down to the beach, over to the hotel, and the country club, and to the golf courses without much difficulty at all. You have plenty of time so it's nice to move around Casa de Campo slowly.
By the way - we never left Casa de Campo - because the enclave has everything you want - and the beach is just 5 minutes by golf cart.
In summary - this is a superb villa, with a wonderful staff...inviting, open with cool breezes...you couldn't find a hotel that would offer more (and at a hotel, they wouldn't leave you alone)...
we keep remarking that this was the nicest "hotel" we had ever stayed at...the equal of 5-start hotels in Thailand, California, France....anywhere.
I liked it. Period.
