This cabin is located at historical Niboban. The original Niboban Camp was built sometime prior to 1915 and was at one time used as a farm. In the 1920's, it was once a girls camp. IN the early 2000s, the original buildings at Niboban were tore down and new cabins and a lodge were built. Guests have access to the main lodge which offers ping pong, games, books, puzzles, and movies on DVD with a TV and DVD player.
There is a shared swimming cove and a swim float, with one of the few sandy beaches on Rangeley Lake. Docks on the property can accommodate boats up to 20' boat, and moorings are available for larger craft and overnight use. Rangeley Village and downtown Oquossoc are just 7 miles away in opposite directions. Niboban has a connector trail to ITS84, so guests may enjoy snowmobiling directly from their cabins - to nearly 150 miles of groomed trails, with connections to New Hampshire and Canada. Cross Country Skiing and mountain bike trails are available nearby at the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center. There are public tennis courts in both downtown Rangeley and downtown Oquossoc. Close to Saddleback Mountain!

Very peaceful location and serene. Lovely view from the front porch. The air was fresh and clean. I enjoyed watching the family of pileated woodpeckers and hearing their voices. The walk to the end of the pier was always so refreshing and breezy. I would hang off the ladder and submerge myself to the waist. My did that feel good! The smell of the outside air would
clear my senses and revive me. And of course it was always difficult to leave this place and takes time to adjust to city life again. I know I will be back next year, and until then, I will wait patiently.
P.S. of course parking was excellent, unlike the city streets. :)

Sweet little cabin that was just right for a weekend getaway for our family of 4. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake, the small beach access, the game room and the peaceful quiet atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the screened in porch was nice to keep our outside gear on and to eat meals. It was clean and well kept.

Camp Rough Enough
The house was beautiful and everything we hoped for! Docking was perfect and the launch was right around the corner at the state park. There was so many things to do in Rangeley Maine including Quill hill, Acadian seaplane tour, bars and restaurants, and of course the beautiful lake with gorgeous sunsets.

Feedback
The cabin was well provisioned and very clean. Thanks to your housekeepers!
My one suggestion going forward is, the dock is very wobbly on the last section - should be reinforced.

Niboban No. 4
Really nice spot, very clean and well-stocked. Loved the dock, which was virtually private, and the screen porch. Also dug the old-school pinball machine in the main lodge/office. M&F did a great job getting it ready. We'll be back!
