Located a quick 10-15 minute cab ride from the airport and a 7 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. Located 1/2 block off trendy Main street. 2 bedrooms each with queen beds, laundry, and strolling distance to countless restaurants, pubs & shops. Dependable strong wifi plus an ether cable hookup. Nestled in one of the most desirable areas in Vancouver, the Main street neighbourhood has become a destination for many Vancouverites and tourists alike. With a plethora of restaurants, bars, art galleries, antique shops and boutiques that are located there, this property offers all the comforts of home, along with all the conveniences of a busy metropolitan city steps from your door. Located on a tree lined, quiet neighbourhood street. (Every restaurant, bar and boutique in the photos is within a 1-8 minute walk, and I could have added another 30 more, but VRBO only allows 24 photos! This area is PACKED with great spots to eat, drink and shop in!). Relax and enjoy the living room, dining area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and washer/dryer. It is located in the middle of 7 different coffee shops, a bank and huge Shoppers Drug Mart a block away (it has everything you might need including groceries, cosmetics, pharmacy, etc) the regular grocery store is only 4 blocks away. Bus line is a half block away to take you downtown or to the skytrain line which will take you anywhere in the city. Located inside is a binder that we have taken the time to create for the benefit of our guests, which contains information and suggestions on where to park, shop, eat, drink, socialize, swim and play in the area. Absolutely wonderful base to explore Vancouver. Heidi and Helena are amazing. They’ve thought of everything, and really made us feel at home. The apartment is roughly 50 meters to main street with fantastic shops and restaurants, but the street and apartment is nice and quiet, and we could recharge there every afternoon before heading out again in the evening. Easy to get to downtown. Street parking was as easy as promised. Everything was clean and in great shape. Comfortable beds (and couch), nice shower, streaming netflix on the TV, good wifi, fresh pastries when we arrived (thank you!), super easy checkin (key code lock, with no need to hassle with a physical key). Helena and Heidi provided so many great recommendations and are great communicators. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful little 2-BR suite was perfect for our family of 3. Lots of choices for food and coffee nearby, and not too long of a drive to local attractions. We appreciated the pastries provided by our host on arrival, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Great communication with host.

This is a lovely little space in a great location. Although the rooms are technically below grade, the windows are very large and allow lots of light to enter.
The space is very clean and well appointed. The towels and bedroom linens are of lovely quality. 10/10 would stay here again.

Helena and Heidi are so nice! They gave us great ideas for our stay and helped us maximize our time. The pastry from Cobb Bakery was delicious and such a welcome treat! The location couldn’t be better so close to everything we could want or need. We loved all the touches that made us feel right at home and I even ordered bedding to try and match the cute duvet covers! Thank you for an amazing stay we will be back again!

This property was wonderful! Heidi, our host, could not have been more helpful. She held our luggage before check in and even helped us carry it. There was a list of local restaurants most of which were in walking distance. Highly highly recommend!!! Thank you!!

The Sophia Suite delivered everything it promised. The suite was clean and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the lively neighborhood and central location. Heidi was the perfect host.

The Sophia Suite in Mount Pleasant was a lovely base from which to explore Vancouver. We were happily surprised that the hosts left us some breakfast pastries, jam and peanut butter. As well as assortments of coffees and teas. We appreciated the kitchen too for a couple of meals where we were glad to stay in. It was a quiet, walkable location and I was glad to have the chance to stay there. Thank you!

We had a great time staying here! The hosts are very friendly and communicative. We had a little welcome basket upon arrival, and entry was simple and easy.
We parked on the street and were always able to find a spot, though it can get crowded. (A private space in the back is supposed to be an option, but we didn't feel like we needed to use it.)
The place itself is very nice and has a surprisingly spacious living room area. 4/5 on cleanliness because when we did some in-home workouts on the rug in the living room, we got dirt/some hair on us, but the bathroom, bedrooms, and kitchen were sparkly clean.
You are 30 seconds away from Main Street, which means you can walk to plenty of places to eat as well as shop.
All in all, this place was very nice, and I recommend it if you can afford it!

Our stay couldn’t be better. Cozy, well appointed basement apartment, nicely designed with plenty of natural light. Very clean and tastefully decorated, is perfect for a group of up to 4 guests. On suite laundry station in the bathroom.
It is located in a convenient area close to a lot of restaurants and stores, all within walking distance. But the best is Heidi. She is a friendly super hostess that makes you feel right at home.

My sister and I loved the place. It has 2 bedrooms, which was so comfy for us, and the kitchen and living space were perfect. Easy to check in and lighted so we could find our way in in the evening too. I would love to stay here again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely suite. After arriving from the airport on an early flight without eating breakfast, we were delighted to see a tray of muffins, bread, and bagels on the table. The suite is well stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfy. I do have 2 suggestions. There could be a guest book to fill out to let the hosts and other guests know wonderful your stay was.
I was a bit confused by the instructions about taking the garbage to a box just outside of the door. We didn't see a container, so I left the garbage inside. The instructions may need to be clearer. Overall, there was one of the best VBRO properties we stayed at.

The property was within walking distance from several wonderful restaurants and shops. The bus stop for bus 003 was only a block away which connected us to many of the sites we wanted to see. The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a decent meal. Heidi, our host was friendly, easy to contact and very helpful. She made us feel very welcomed. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and plan to stay again when we are in Vancouver.

Sophia suite was a very cute and convenient. The location is perfect with a short walk to grocery, drug store, great restaurants and cafes and park. Free parking made this a no-brainer. There was amazing information provided on check-in for all Vancouver attractions and menus for every restaurant in the area with reviews from the host which made navigation the neighborhood super simple with kiddos.
We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a family of four to use as home base when exploring Vancouver. Right off Main Street with all its restaurants, convenience stores and fun boutiques. Easy Uber to most popular areas. Host was very responsive. Apartment had everything we needed.

Wonderful place and host
My family really enjoyed the stay here. The place was clean and the host was very accommodating. We loved the book with information about restaurants nearby. We walked to several restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others.

This was our first experience with a VRBO. The place was very clean, quiet, and felt like home. Our wonderful hostess thought of everything! She even brought us a welcome basket with delicious baked goods. There were information booklets which I appreciated greatly. Our stay was wonderful and if we are ever in Vancouver again I would not hesitate to book again.

The location in the Mount Pleasant area near Main Street was perfect for us. There is free and ample parking which is a huge plus. We didn't need to stay in or near downtown for this trip. Easy in and out with the coded keypad. The area is safe for walking to the shops on Main. Helena's daughter and family live upstairs and they were great. You could hear them upstairs but nothing that was bothersome.
There is only one thing and I'm hesitating to mention it because I don't want to deter anyone from staying here. I think the owner doesn't know that the white bath towels (which look fairly new) are a tad dingy. I think the housekeepers just throw them in the laundry but don't put enough soap or bleach. The towels looked washed but not that clean. I mention it just to bring their attention to it and maybe tell the cleaners about it. I'm sure they will take care of it. I know it's hard to keep whites white, but I do like the white hotel towels because you can tell if they are clean.
Again, this place is great and I will definitely stay here again.
